What a phenomenal round up of everything we need to know about all aspects of styling skirts from tops, belts to footwear and tights- thank you Erin for what may be the best tutorial on skirts I’ve ever seen! ❤ 12:04
I love to wear a cashmere turtleneck with a pencil skirt and tall boots. The key is leaving the sweater out and belting it. It’s very flattering, I think!
I literally just bought these two skirts from Quince a couple of weeks ago when you were last sponsored by them! I haven’t worn them yet, so this was perfectly timed!
loved the video but could you do other skirtstyles? not just pleaded and silk in black but may be leather or plaid? would be amazing for the colder months ❤❤
😊 Always preferred skirts over trousers, so appreciate her featuring them👍. Truly thorough coverage. 🎉Great ideas🎉! 😉Crop tops are excellent for women who don't like the added bulk of a full tuck. They have the body-con razorback or tank type that are perfectly modest over large breasts when paired w/a high-waisted bottom. Of course, I usually always wear them w/a topper layer of some sort too. 😉Even though I'll wear a bralette, I already have more than enough filling them😔. Tucking the hem of a top or sweater inside NEVER works for me😂. It's not as bad tucking in a regular length shirt in cooler weather. You can cram your shirt tails tightly in your hoisery. 😬Used to do that a lot for the office. 🤔Personally, I think ¹fit & flare, ²a-line, ³wrap, & ⁴straight skirts are best for an hourglass figure⏳️. Straight skirts w/a high split are very leg lengthening↕️ too, esp. if you're required to wear flats of some sort like myself. 🧐Unless you're a Kardashian type who loves showing off the curves of their voluptuous hips/backside/thighs〰️✏️pencil skirts are far too va-va-voom for me😖. Hi Erin, Janet here from the UK 🇬🇧 I have been following your style for a while now and absolutely love your style-advice. It has made such a difference to making the right choices for myself when buying clothes whilst keeping the element of fun 💖🌸🎉👗👠
Thanks SO much for watching, Janet! SO glad you are feeling confident in your shopping choices, and having FUN with your style too. That's what is so important when it comes to fashion. Thanks for being here! xo
Love the silk skirts! Love to wear mine with a cropped,(normal length for my 4’10” frame), slightly boxy sweater. I do wear tights in the colder months with my skirts, so I can wear shorter or longer boots with them as long as the color is continuous on the bottom to not cut me off. Belts are tricky for me. I have to keep to a thinner belt versus a wide belt because of my petite size. Monochrome works so well for me, because I feel and look taller with the one continuous line of color. I love kitten heels these days, because of the comfort level versus 3 inch heels. Thanks, Erin, for the great video content!❤
Alright Erin, this video was super helpful and all the outfits and garments look amazing!! 🤩 I really enjoyed it! I'd love it if we could have another video on how to style mini and maxi skirts for autumn/winter... I'd really appreciate that. Love from Greece!
This is a fantastic video. I love the fail safe tips to remember for when I’m in a hurry and don’t have time to experiment! My fail safe formula for my (slightly) top heavy/ thin legs/ narrow hips / thick waist / 5’3” frame is a pencil skirt with a top or jacket that nips in the waist but doesn’t cling OR a boxy top/jacket/sweater that gives the illusion of a waist. 😏 My video wish list after this is one where you can give product links for 1) skirt belts 2) tights
I'm so glad you found this video helpful, Nancy. We have links for everything in each video in the description box. To access the description box, you can tap on the video title and then hit "more" to expand it. Brilliant skirt tutorial! I love how you explain fashion in an easy to understand way using fashion“formulas”depending on the look you’re going for! I was just looking at my new silk Quince skirt and wondering how I would ever wear it and now I know!! I would love love love a tour of your belt collection and how you wear them.
This is so helpful, Erin. LOVE Quince. The thinner fabrics are just right for Los Angeles, all year long. I picked up some great ideas here, like not wearing thick tights or old fashioned panty hose. I love all these outfits, especially the one with the big gray sweater and chunky booties. Your kids must love how cool their mom is. Love the idea of the shaper skirt -- I am going to get one, I have shapers but not one like that! I was also secretly happy to see all your trousers -- I have far too many, all price points. I should never buy another pair, LOL. You are the best! 😍😍
I just made a similar video about the pleated midi skirt. It's hard! I love the vest option because you don't have to fuss with the belt. Thanks for this Erin!
Thanks so much for this video! ❤ I totally agree that choosing the right skirt is so important to always look stylish. Do you have any other tips for dressing with skirts this winter? 👗✨
Love your channel and styling tips. Thanks for all you do to help those of use who run out of time to study the nuances of fashion for the over thirty bunch. What can I wear with my new lace up, knee high gothic princess boots with ice-safe chunked sole? 🌹
Thanks so much for watching! I've paired back on producing longform content and really just filming when I am inspired to. Working on a shoe video, so stay tuned for that!! Thanks for your support. xo
Love, love your videos! Great style & suggestions. Thank you, Erin! Perhaps a couple video ideas - your jewelry/accessories and maybe too different of a suggestion - your arm routine. Your arms are beautifully sculpted, defined, very feminine and not masculine.
Helpful video! Could you please do one on comfortable dress shoes. I want to be able to be free, walk, hold babies, dance, ect, when im dressed up but also still look sophisticated. 47 years old and dont want to look too granny but I no longer enjoy heels.
Great idea! While I do personally love heels, I think your best bet is an ankle boot, loafers, or flats - though it can be tough to find flats that are actually comfortable and supportive. Are you comfortable in kitten heels? They are so big this season and I think they're so sophisticated and comfortable. I have a blog with a few great options for you to take a look at here: busbeestyle.com/must-have-fall-shoes/ And here's two more options for flats that look promising, and have good reviews... Your earrings are beautiful. Where are they from? You look so beautiful Erin. Still my favorite influencer. Classy and great sense of fashion. I’ve been following you for years.
Very nice video Erin, thank you! I’d love to see a video on styling crop pants and denim during the cooler months. Socks over stockings a must for those with cold hands/feet 💯 cashmere socks are epic and barefoot dream socks at night for sleep the best!
I’ve bought many items from Quince recently and love all the ones I’ve kept. I love their cashmere and their silk, and I’m planning to go with their corduroy pants as soon as they come back in stock. I’m worried about the weight gain from taking tamoxifen so these tips are helpful just in case.
I think they are partnering with many creators all at once. I love their products and feel they are awesome high quality basics at accessible prices. If you need basics, great place to stock up!
All great advice as always! One key element of the chunky boots you chose is that have an elasticized upper that fits tightly around the ankle. It's really hard for most women to pull off a true combat boot with a midi skirt.
Agreed! Close to leg is the fail-safe! I mentioned cowboy boots because that is a whole look and can definitely work, but when in doubt, booties or boots that fit tighter to the leg are better!
How did you know I was just on the Quince website this morning trying to decide on a skirt purchase but was a bit stumped when it came to the top half!? Thank you, Erin!
Here's some other ideas for you to check out, Beth! xo More Wide Belts Scalloped Belt | go.magik.ly/ml/268v2/ Double Buckle Belt | go.magik.ly/ml/268v0/ Cross Over Belt | go.magik.ly/ml/268uw/
Not sure I understand the question. The thicker one actually stays up without effort and the cropped one stays down. If you have one that pops and you don’t like that, you can use some double sided tape of a stitch gun to keep it in place
Hi Erin, thank you for all your styling tips! What did you use for the perimenopause symptoms?Did you go on HRT or the more natural route? You look amazing so whatever you are doing is clearly working❤
HRT troche form (compounded) but I’ve also tried patch and pills too. Depends on you, your body and preferences. I switched to troche because all hormones in one lozenge that I let dissolve twice daily. I struggled with patch because I felt like it always came off in shower or when I got extra sweaty. Some people prefer traditional pharmaceutical options because they go through rigor and standards of FDA whereas compounded does not. Patches are faster and more potent. Troche has a slower delivery and feels less potent. It’s really a personal trial and error journey. I take progesterone, estrogen, testosterone. I also use localized estrogen for vaginal atrophy and dryness. Additionally, I’ve done vaginal laser treatments which have helped. I am on thyroid medication too for sluggish T4 and take multivitamin, collagen, calcium, vitamin D3, pre/probiotic, magnesium gummies before bed, brain supplement (very personal to me) I also do Tracy Anderson 5-6 days a week now, 30 minute workouts and augment arms with five pound weights. You should also have your doctor check blood work for insulin resistance (can be adjusted with GLP’s) and adrenal fatigue. Gut health is another whole process. 🤦🏼♀️ - I think that’s about it. 🥰 Hope that helps. We are coming out with a free resource soon focused on menopause resources and really where to get started. Be on the lookout for that too
Very helpful! To other followers of the lovely Erin can you walk me through in detail how to access the site where I can “shop this post?” I was able to do it once for her recent “short” about building a good travel outfit and now can’t remember what I did!!
Hi Marlene! You can shop everything that I show in the video right in the description box under the title, or in the top pinned comment at the start of the comments section. Hope this helps! Please let me know if you need anything else. xo
@busbeestyle - I mean a body type where the shoulders and hips are the same width and you have only a very slightly defined waist that is a few inches less in width than your shoulders and hips. 😀
Thanks for clarifying! I call it rectangle and good news - that's my body shape too! Main tip to remember is adding a waist belt or anything to help define the waist (add width at shoulders, fuller skirt, tucked in top and a belt). Here's a video with even more tips for you! Hope this helps. xo Rectangle Body Shape Tips | ua-cam.com/video/M1yUIqODxRk/v-deo.html
Love your skirt video. Can you do a video about different types of skirts and how to wear skirts if you are petite and are shortwaisted. Love skirts but high waisted skirts are not my friend. If you can help i would be so grateful. Thank you. You are wonderful.❤
Erin, PLEASE do a video on bralettes. I am 50+ and have fibromyalgia and cannot wear bras without suffering. I try to wear built in or shelf bras to help, but until I have a reduction, I am a 36-38 DD. Also, I have sensitive skin and polyester, cashmere are very itchy and I just cant do it. I need cotton, modal, silk and blends. I am constantly on the hunt. I need shapewear, bralettes, corsettes, wide back bras to eliminate back roll, and I cant be the only one that is sick and tired of these struggles. Thank you for all you do for women! ❤
They can be tough to find... I've linked everything that I featured in the description box of the video as well as the top pinned comment for you to shop! xo
Thank you for this helpful video! 💖 I totally agree-knowing the do’s and don’ts really makes a difference in styling skirts! 🙌 Just curious, what’s your go-to skirt style for a versatile, everyday look? 👗✨
You're SO welcome! I think the silk blouse and A-line skirt with the belt outfit is probably the most versatile! I love to play around with my clothes so, I really love them all! xo
All such great tips Erin! I especially love that first look with the silky sleeveless top and pleated skirt. Can I ask what equivalent the xs from quince is? Pants waist equivalent? We are about the same size but so hard to tell on screen. Thanks so much!
Hi from the Sierra NV. Erin, TFS. In this video, I learned from you to look for pencil skirts for those with "hourglass shape" w/c I am. For additional info: I am a super shortie 4' 11", 90 lbs, 55yo and my taste is in the elegant, classy style even if I am just doing grocery shopping😂😊. I would love to try a long or midi pencil skirt, not short not even knee length, as I don't like my big bony, door knobby knees, but being too short I don't know if I can wear it confidently. Pls do share more ideas where to look for such and how to style them and be comfortable also going in and out of the car in it. Many Blessings❤
Thanks so much for watching! I think this pencil skirt would be great for you to try... double check the length, but I think for your height it will be a midi length: go.magik.ly/ml/26l86/ (Length is 23.5" ) Also consider this beautiful cashmere skirt too: go.magik.ly/ml/26l8n/ Hope this helps! xo
She ages backwards. I have watched her for years. She just keeps getting prettier. What I truly love about Erin besides she has helped me better dressed, lost weight after watching some of her videos, have less clothes but better clothes….but the most important is Erin is not only beautiful on the outside …she is beautiful on the inside. I truly believe she loves helping us look our best. ❤❤❤❤
Unfortunately, It is no longer available. I purchased it a few years ago in the Nordstrom sale. This look's like the brand's current version (without the raw hem) | go.magik.ly/ml/26nt0/
Thank you for doing this video, with which shoe to wear too. Love wearing skirts but sometimes I feel like grandma. I’m very short. How to style skirt that are longer to your ankles or shouldn’t you wear that length?
Any tights suggestions for 5’2” folks that are plus (190-200lbs) - is that even a thing?❤ thanks Erin, have learned so much from you over the years!! ❤
Hi Erin, What do you wear on your legs with these midi type skirts and booties IF you’re not wearing a black skirt? It’s cold in Michigan and this issue keeps tripping me up. Thx😊
That's a tough one! Honestly, I often gravitate to black in the winter because I don't love the look of other-colored tights! I save my lighter-colored skirts for the warmer weather when I can show my bare legs. You can try skin-colored tights, but you have to be extra discerning when choosing a pair. If they have too much shine, they can cheapen and date the look. I hope that is helpful! xo
I have a long narrow denim skirt. I can do winter with leggings under and high boots, but what to do in fall when it’s just below freezing-not bare feet or legs weather?
Thanks for watching, Lori! It looks like the Dior Saddlebelt is no longer available (I've had this one for a few years now) but here's a similar style: go.magik.ly/ml/26ky0/
Will you do just an all sweaters? I bought a couple of them that you showed last year. I bought one that was tan and white color block that I just love, only problem is, I would like to see their sweaters for this year, but can't remember the name of the store.
I would go for an A-Line skirt. If you wear a top in the same color, you can manipulate the location of your waist (visually). It is a great styling trick! Give it a try, Shelia! xo
Thank you! I really like your do’s and don’ts! I miss when you did more “don’t wear this” and then swapped things out to show the changes in silhouette.
Would you mind sharing your skin routine? Is it only make up or creams or medical treatments. You look younger now than before, from what I recall! Thank you! 💞
I certainly don’t. But thank you!! 🥰I’ve had a thread lift (would only recommend doing this if you find an amazing doc). 3x BBL laser treatments. I get Botox 2x per year and I use OneSkin for skincare. I had lip filler back in the day and that does not go away so my lips still look nice. I have those fine lines around lips though. I did Ultherapy a couple of times but I do NOT recommend that. It’s super painful and now docs are saying it creates bad scar tissue. Not really that helpful anyway. Hope that helps?!
Thank you so much for watching. Your support means the world to me! xo

Monochrome works so well for me, because I feel and look taller with the one continuous line of color. I love kitten heels these days, because of the comfort level versus 3 inch heels. Thanks, Erin, for the great video content!❤
Great point - there is definitely a time when the thinner belts do serve you best. Thanks SO much for watching! xo
Thank you. Great video. Happy Holidays to you.
Lots of good tips!
Alright Erin, this video was super helpful and all the outfits and garments look amazing!! 🤩 I really enjoyed it! I'd love it if we could have another video on how to style mini and maxi skirts for autumn/winter... I'd really appreciate that. Love from Greece!
Great suggestion! Thank you, Maria! xo
Good to see you Erin. Very comprehensive video and just what I needed! I just bought a new skirt and looking what to wear with it. Thank you 🙏
This is a fantastic video. 😏
My video wish list after this is one where you can give product links for
1) skirt belts
2) tights
I'm so glad you found this video helpful, Nancy. We have links for everything in each video in the description box. To access the description box, you can tap on the video title and then hit "more" to expand it. I'll add the links here for you as well. xo

SO glad this was helpful for you! I hope you wear your new skirt with confidence now! xo
GREAT video Erin!! I love skirts and boots…Thanks for all the tips!!❤
Erin, your last video with Quince resulted in a complete upgrade of my wardrobe! 😍 Time to dust off my credit card once again…!
SO glad it was helpful for you!! They've got some great pieces. I hope you love your new wardrobe! xo
Excellent video 👍👍 just what I needed as I struggle to make good outfits with skirts …
I'm so glad you found this helpful, Liz! Do any kids think their mom is cool 😂?
@@BusbeeStyle I am 100% sure, that yours do! You are the most stylish, beautiful woman wherever you go.
Absolutely loved the video. Great advice and timing. Thank you.
Great advice!
So glad this was helpful! Thanks for watching, Patricia! xo
This video was very helpful. Thanks for all the tips. 👍🏼
SO glad this was helpful for you! Thanks for watching. xo
Thank you! I have skirts. I’ve been dying to wear. These are really helpful ideas.
Yay! I am SO glad this was helpful for you and hope you enjoy trying out these ways to style your skirts! xo
Great video!!! I love to wear skirts!!!❤
This was great! You get prettier every year.
You are SO sweet, Julie! Thanks so much for watching. xo
Thank you for all the tips and ideas! I love your channel! You always cost me money lol💕
❤❤ Thankyou thank you i needs this video for those skirts i struggle so much. But i just love it especially in summer
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching, Anna! xo
Great tips as always Erin! Thank you so much ❤
I just made a similar video about the pleated midi skirt. It's hard! I love the vest option because you don't have to fuss with the belt. Thanks for this Erin!
Thanks so much for this video! ❤ I totally agree that choosing the right skirt is so important to always look stylish. Do you have any other tips for dressing with skirts this winter? 👗✨
If it is really cold - wear a maxi length or midi length with thicker tights/ leggings - fleece lined for even EXTRA warmth, and taller boots. xo
Love your channel and styling tips. Thanks for all you do to help those of use who run out of time to study the nuances of fashion for the over thirty bunch.
What can I wear with my new lace up, knee high gothic princess boots with ice-safe chunked sole? 🌹
Wow! That is a VERY specific ask. I think we’d need to see a pic of those bad boys! 😊
Just bought a black pleated midi skirt. Your tips will help me style it. Thanks!
Yay!! Perfect timing. SO glad this helped give you some new ideas to try out! xo
I love these tips I think they are useful ❤
Hihi I am Kelly fr Malaysia n enjoy your videos. Tq for updating the latest on wearing pleated skirts.
Thank you Erin! It's been a while since I've seen a new video drop from you.
Great info
Helpful video!
Could you please do one on comfortable dress shoes.
I want to be able to be free, walk, hold babies, dance, ect, when im dressed up but also still look sophisticated. 47 years old and dont want to look too granny but I no longer enjoy heels.
Great idea! While I do personally love heels, I think your best bet is an ankle boot, loafers, or flats - though it can be tough to find flats that are actually comfortable and supportive. Are you comfortable in kitten heels? They are so big this season and I think they're so sophisticated and comfortable. I have a blog with a few great options for you to take a look at here: busbeestyle.com/must-have-fall-shoes/
And here's two more options for flats that look promising, and have good reviews...

Naturalizer: go.magik.ly/ml/26l8v/
Super helpful! For a navy blue skirt/dress, black does not work. So if not skin color, what do you suggest?
Your earrings are beautiful. Where are they from? You look so beautiful Erin. Still my favorite influencer. Classy and great sense of fashion. I’ve been following you for years.
Thank you! Here's the link to shop for you: go.magik.ly/ml/26l8z/
You are SO sweet...Thank you SO much for your support! xo
Very nice video Erin, thank you! I’d love to see a video on styling crop pants and denim during the cooler months. Socks over stockings a must for those with cold hands/feet 💯 cashmere socks are epic and barefoot dream socks at night for sleep the best!
Thank you…. Information I’ve been looking for !😊
SO glad this was helpful for you, Karen!! Thanks for watching. xo
This was great! I figured out why I don’t ever wear the skirts I buy! Definitely getting the right heels & belts! ❤
I’ve bought many items from Quince recently and love all the ones I’ve kept. I love their cashmere and their silk, and I’m planning to go with their corduroy pants as soon as they come back in stock. I’m worried about the weight gain from taking tamoxifen so these tips are helpful just in case.
Sending you SO much love. xo
Any recommendations where to buy the skirt that you were in under the other skirt also the tights any recommendation what it where to get it from?
Been bombarded by Qunce, so I'm glad to hear you support purchasing from them! 👍
I think they are partnering with many creators all at once. I love their products and feel they are awesome high quality basics at accessible prices. If you need basics, great place to stock up!
@BusbeeStyle thank you!!
Where do you bought your belt? I’m fascinated with Quince
How do you keep the belt and skirt from separating at the waistline without belt loops very nice video thank you
I talked about this in video- that’s why I chose a thicker belt and this one is elastic and adjustable so it stays put when you tighten
How did you know I was just on the Quince website this morning trying to decide on a skirt purchase but was a bit stumped when it came to the top half!? Thank you, Erin!
Perfect timing!! SO glad you found this video helpful, Karen. xo
Great video,thank you. ❤
Thanks so much for watching! xo
Great, great and great!!!❤
Thanks for watching! So glad you enjoyed this video, Lisa! xo
❤❤❤❤love you Erin
You are so incredible ❤
Aww! Thank you SO much for your kind comment! xo
Lovwe your wide belts, but think the Dior one is a stretch for me. What are the other 2 you were wearing?
Here's some other ideas for you to check out, Beth! xo
More Wide Belts
Scalloped Belt | go.magik.ly/ml/268v2/
Double Buckle Belt | go.magik.ly/ml/268v0/
Cross Over Belt | go.magik.ly/ml/268uw/
Great video! How do you keep your white button down from popping up at the collar?
Not sure I understand the question. The thicker one actually stays up without effort and the cropped one stays down. If you have one that pops and you don’t like that, you can use some double sided tape of a stitch gun to keep it in place
You're so beautiful. Thank you for all that you do
Hi Erin, thank you for all your styling tips!
Be on the lookout for that too
the cropped jacket is giving me a Victorian/Edwardian vibe with the long skirt. It's very cool! and a new twist on a fashion classic.
Isn't it fun to switch things up a little?? I love it too! Thanks for watching! xo
Please let me know if you need anything else. xo
What shape skirts are best for H body types? I heard you mention several others but not that one. Thanks!
Sorry, not sure what exactly you mean by H... do you mean Hourglass?
@busbeestyle - I mean a body type where the shoulders and hips are the same width and you have only a very slightly defined waist that is a few inches less in width than your shoulders and hips. 😀
Thanks for clarifying! I call it rectangle and good news - that's my body shape too! Main tip to remember is adding a waist belt or anything to help define the waist (add width at shoulders, fuller skirt, tucked in top and a belt). Here's a video with even more tips for you! Hope this helps. xo

Love your skirt video. Can you do a video about different types of skirts and how to wear skirts if you are petite and are shortwaisted. Love skirts but high waisted skirts are not my friend. If you can help i would be so grateful. Thank you. You are wonderful.❤
Hi. Do Quince deliver to Australia? Love the styling tips. 😊
No, I wish they did so that you could enjoy their products though!! Thanks for watching. I hope the video gives you some helpful styling tips! xo
You could use a carrier that gives you a US post box, who then on forward.
Great segment B 🥰😀👍
Thanks for watching! xo
P.S. Also, I need LIFT and Minimizing if I can.
What brands have you tried??
Mine just roll up under my girls.
Great ideas. Will you check the link for Dior like belt, it went to door. Thx
It looks like the Dior Saddlebelt is no longer available (I've had this one for a few years now) but here's a similar style: go.magik.ly/ml/26ky0/
Those close to the calf booties are hard hard hard to find, sock boots super hard to find. Do you have any recommendations?
Check the size chart and look at measurements and compare to yours. I don’t have the tiniest waist.
I would say if you want tailored slim fit, size down, on tops. For skirts, DO check size chart
@ me neither Erin! You looked particularly beautiful in this video!
@ thanks!❤️
Hi from the Sierra NV.
Erin, TFS. In this video, I learned from you to look for pencil skirts for those with "hourglass shape" w/c I am. For additional info:
I am a super shortie 4' 11", 90 lbs, 55yo and my taste is in the elegant, classy style even if I am just doing grocery shopping😂😊.
I think this pencil skirt would be great for you to try... double check the length, but I think for your height it will be a midi length: go.magik.ly/ml/26l86/ (Length is 23.5" )
Also consider this beautiful cashmere skirt too: go.magik.ly/ml/26l8n/
Hope this helps! xo
@BusbeeStyle Many thanks, Erin. I am going to check them out! Have a great rest of the day!
Love your channel ❤️ Hadn't caught up in awhile..you look better than ever! Did you get your lids done or something? (If you share that with us)
Thanks, Kristin. I did not have any surgical procedures. Hope you enjoyed this video and found the tips helpful!! Thanks for watching! xo
@BusbeeStyle wow you should share your routine!😃🩷
She ages backwards. I have watched her for years. She just keeps getting prettier. What I truly love about Erin besides she has helped me better dressed, lost weight after watching some of her videos, have less clothes but better clothes….but the most important is Erin is not only beautiful on the outside …she is beautiful on the inside. I truly believe she loves helping us look our best. ❤❤❤❤
Erin Where is info on the grey raw hem crew neck sweater? You showed with the heavy bootie
Give these ideas in the video a try and let me know what you think! xo
Any tights suggestions for 5’2” folks that are plus (190-200lbs) - is that even a thing?❤ thanks Erin, have learned so much from you over the years!! ❤
Quince does offer plus sizes in most of their skirts! I highly recommend giving them a try.
I hope that is helpful! xo
Thankyou!
Very good info, thank you
So glad this was helpful! Thanks so much for watching! xo
I have a long narrow denim skirt. I can do winter with leggings under and high boots, but what to do in fall when it’s just below freezing-not bare feet or legs weather?
Couldn’t you do socks and tall boots and be good? How long is the skirt?
Thanks for the video do you have a link for the belt?
Thanks for watching, Lori! It looks like the Dior Saddlebelt is no longer available (I've had this one for a few years now) but here's a similar style: go.magik.ly/ml/26ky0/
Thank you for doing this video, with which shoe to wear too. Love wearing skirts but sometimes I feel like grandma
Im have a great collection of belts very unusual ones bpught three wide ones li.e your this, summer set with belts my waist is my best feature so......
Waiting for Quince to ship to Canada.
I SO wish they did so you could enjoy their pieces too, Kimberlee! xo
I’m hoping they come to Canada too.
Will you do just an all sweaters? I bought a couple of them that you showed last year. I bought one that was tan and white color block that I just love, only problem is, I would like to see their sweaters for this year, but can't remember the name of the store.
Great idea! I will definitely be featuring more sweaters soon. xo
I am short waisted and short so what do you suggest? Also have a little tummy and hips.
I would go for an A-Line skirt. If you wear a top in the same color, you can manipulate the location of your waist (visually). It is a great styling trick! Give it a try, Shelia! xo
Sometimes a smaller belt is better if you just need the buckle to focus in the waist and use an elastic belt.
Yes, sometimes a thinner belt works best. I think you need to just try it on and see how it looks and feels.
when you have a mom pouch, the belts only make you look bulkier. What do you recommend then?
Wear sweater with finished bottom out (not tucked) or wear slightly longer tailored jacket over and add slim belt over lightweight blazer
Thanks for this. I love skirts. I don't see enough style advice on UA-cam privileging the skirt.
You're so welcome! Glad this was helpful for you, Deb! xo
What to do about long legs/too short torso?
Perfect for skirts! The ideal proportion for maximum length is 1/3 torso and 2/3 legs so your body is doing that for you!
Are there any flat-ish shoes you would recommend with skirts?
Kitten heels or slingbacks
Forgot to say your arms look amazing…❤❤❤
Yes,they do. What do you do to keep them looking like that?
I miss your videos so much. ❤
Aw, thank you! I’m hoping to find my inspiration again so I am energized to make more but right now, feels better to create less
Vs. creating more for the sake of it 🥰
What earrings are you wearing??
Here's the link to shop these gorgeous earrings: go.magik.ly/ml/26l8z/ Thanks for watching! xo
Thank you! I really like your do’s and don’ts! I miss when you did more “don’t wear this” and then swapped things out to show the changes in silhouette.
I'm so glad you enjoyed this style. I love to teach style tips! xo
