Hope this video helps with cargo running, however I will do a separate video for the Nomad again and see if we can make any money buying Laranite. Remember if you are interested in the game then you can use my referral code: STAR-V9FF-TK4N it will help me out and also yourself by giving you a bonus of 5k in game currency.
If you are in a Nomad, take the box missions. I do them in my Pisces and can keep my runs inside just the moons around Crusader. 3 boxes for 8K but if you do a little route planning you can do several at once. Zero risk since you don't buy the cargo. Space trucking really requires the much larger ships to make it worth the time vs the missions.
Thank you for detering pirates for making them think that 😂. You can make.. quite a bit of money with the nomad tbh. You just have to know where and how and when 😊. This ship is awsome for that beceause a lot of people take it for not worth it or a waste of time.
The F2 star map not working is because it does not know where you are, and something ( planet / sun / belt ) is blocking the jump. Just free jump to anything close too you like an OM then hit F2 and it will now work every time even if it has to plot around something.
I have found when using the Noman, if you can't get laurionite do missions until you can buy a rock then just mine but continue to check for Laurionite periodically.
If you only want one ship and are willing to pay around 100$ this ship is THE ship to have. A cutty or freelancer are good but are quite expensive as a starter. Wich is why if the nomad is on sale wich it is quite regularly tgt with the cutter then it is a no brainer. I paid €80 for mine wich is around 75$?
You can see POI markers by setting the route again in the starmap after you've QT'd in. You don't need to keep your QDrive active then which significantly reduces your detectability.
They have 30k cargo crash protection now. Takes a snapshot of your ships inventory every 2 mins. I've gone thru countless 30ks and was able to just pull the ship out and the cargo still be present.

I love the cat and the argos so much, they look like they could be actual ships

Sounds a good idea :)
Facts. Some days I make more in a Cutty Black than the Cat pilots in my org because they lost their cargo a couple of times.

The nomad is great, can ROC mine too, it’s just perfect other than the fact it looks like a parasite 🤣 but that’s its charm I guess
@@Cplcash87 😂 well i like to compare it to a thick flying pancake?
Haha love that
I just bought Nomad, but the interior lights are very dim. Is there a way to make them brighter?
I don't know to be fair lol never tried it haha

Thanks for advice I’ll give it a check :)
Where do we buy the Caterpillar in game? I can’t find it
Lorville it was when I last checked but that’s pre 3:17.2
I gave up on cargo after i lost 3 full loads in a row to glitches... no thank you....
Fair enough, that’s star citizen for ya, it can be like that at times. Luckily it’s not happened too often to me. Once or twice at most.
Took me an hour so to learn the layout as well.
Ya great guide until the server crashes as your landing and you lose 500K...stick to bunker missions.
Do what ya gotta do I guess.
