I just wish the cutties had a ladder on the side doors. Too many times the back ramp gets stuck on a rock on a planet or on something and if the planet has gravity, you cant get back in.

Been their my friend. I try looking around for a container or something I can tractor so I can get back in. I have been known to kill my self then go get another ship if I have cargo in the ship. Its tricky to find the right server though.

5 cool gatling guns, that actually hit your own shield when you're firing it. Not only does that damage your shield, but it also lowers the actual damage of the guns to a third... CIG really flipped us off with this one.

There are some other aspects not mentioned here that are yet to be installed.
All variants except the Steel has the following:
- 1 rear tractor beam
- 2 front tractor beams
The Steel has oddly enough the same tractor beam mounts at the front so it might get them.
The rear utility mount instead has a remote turret.
And here is the main speculation - it's entirely possible that we will be able to move that turret to another Cutlass later on since it would be the same function as the utility point on a Hornet for example.

Modularity has been coming "soon" for many years now, so it'll probably just be forgotten and never implemented tbh.

Man I'm right there with you, the steel paints (Meridian, Solar Winds, Sterling) are my favorite paints in the game... Still hoping the Cutlass will become modular at some point, so we can have a Cutlass Steel without the jumpseats.

Honestly the Cutty Steel seems more like an NPC ship than anything else. Good way for bringing in NPCs reinforcements, that way you get a full wave in a ship and the damage neg and the large amount of gatlings as a way to prevent "spawn camping" and taking out the whole group at once.

The cutlass steal would be good to be used as a Passanger transport vehicle, but only activate guns if in an Emergancey. Thats what I would use it for.

If they add modularity to the game, maybe you can take the extra seats out to gain cargo room on the Steel version.

I feel the cutlass steel will be in the full game a smuggler or slaver type ship given it specializes in moving lots of people but lacks the desired effects it needs to compete as a drop ship. Unless it’s a new space taxi…

The cutlass steel could use a minor rework out of the gate which is kind of sad.
Sometimes it feels like CIG is sort of out of touch with how the game is actually played. Maybe that ship will actually be decent when you can land at a ground bunker with your 20 bot mates and all run in guns blazing together lol

Didn't realise the STEAL was so cheap in the game. Why would they do that? Surely, it would stop anyone who may have got their wallet out from buying it with real money. Don't worry, Im not salty about this. I don't own a STEAL. ;)
