I totally agree. I have spent over $4,000 on my rescue snorkie . He has terrible itching , keeps constant yeast infections. All they said is due to flea allergy. They had him on shots and pills and 40.00 bottles of shampoo. It all seemed to make him worse. I started making his food . All natural with no grains or artificial ingredients. He only takes a zyrtec daily for allergies and weekly bath with vinegar rinse. He still starts smelling of yeast 2 days after bath . I wipe him with vinegar water nightly but the yeast is persistent. Once I get it beat he will be all set. Thank you so much for helping pet owners who love their pets but can't afford vets that just want to fill your pets with dangerous medications when natural products can work!

Every time you give us another homemade treatment I jump with joy. My dog was so sick and he is now acting like he did when he was a puppy. Thank you so very much. As senior citizens we can't afford the vet bills. Although we have a really good veterinarian, it can be overwhelming.

I keep and reuse the Clorox or Lysol wipe container and cut a half used paper towel roll to the length of the container and pull them through like the wipes. I really like it for my little ones.

I'm soo glad this came up. I just adopted a huge senior Shepard husky mix 2 wks ago.
And he's been licking his front paws, and in between the pads on his back foot.
    Will definitely try this😁👍

Love this! Do they store well long term in a container or ziplock? I am wondering if I can just soak a whole roll of good quality strong paper towels at once (like Bounty or Brawny) or would it get really yucky?
I bet you can also tweak the recipe. I might also add green tea, maybe a few drops of colloidal silver - if you tweak, make sure the ingredients are safe for your dog!
My boy’s bloodwork has shown he has insanely off the charts food and environmental allergies since 2017 (it’s been repeated when symptoms worsened/changed). These ideas are extremely helpful!

What's stopping me personally from using these wipes? I have dyshidrosis & need to apply moisturizer whenever I get my skin wet, my hands especially. If I don't I'll break out in what's characteristic of poison ivy. I'm not a fan of corticosteroids ...and the price has gone through the roof over the years! 'Creaming up' every time I get my hands wet is not always an option.
BTW ...Thank you for your kindness & all you do!

Lord, I had to look it up. I also have this kind of weeping, blister type of eczema on my hands. My doctors always said it was eczema, but have never told me not to get my hands wet though. I agree on the gloves. They make it flare up even worse.
It’s a horrible thing to deal with. 😿

    • @dollybelfiore7628
      @dollybelfiore7628 2 роки тому +1

@@nailartShookme I feel your pain! From birth to age 21 I was on and off cortisone. which as you know thins the skin ...& you wind up tearing off your skin down to the muscle when you're asleep! It also has that rebound effect. Which makes it reappear with a vengeance if you don't stop using it w/in 5 days!
The secret is to actually get them wet and cream up immediately afterward! ( I love DIAL, 7 day moisturizing cream + it won't clog your pores.. great for the face too!) Until you get everthing under control... soak in water with a dispersable oil (like MAPO), you need to apply cortisone OINTMENT right away (the cortisone cream will NOT work!) This will lock in the moisture. Shockingly, we don't absorb water properly. We are ultra-sensitive and our body feels the sensation of the water sucking the moisture from our skin as it dries... Then it all goes downhill! Our white blood cells take it as a personal threat!... as if something invasive was about to do us real harm. So these little buggers go full-on assault! Just as if it was poison ivy. Those blisters are actually our defensive mechanism.
Simply learning what's going on and that you can totally manage it w/o seeing a dermatologist EVER AGAIN!... actually liberates yourself from the grip of this disorder.
The body is a wondrous thing. My hands can get dusty which makes them feel dry..and my body tells my lymphocytes to attack!
Peeps with this disorder tend to have other auto-immune issues as well ...such as Fibromyalgia. so if you wake up one morning feeling that you got run over by several semi-trucks...don't freak yourself out by convincing yourself you have bone cancer! LOL! It's 'just' fibromyalgia! If you have any questions at all... I'm here! I'm 57 & haven't met a person yet that has this 'skin' disorder ...that they know of anyway. There are so many tricks I've picked up over the years ..I'm just itching to help someone out by passing on the knowledge.
It can be devastating as well as debilitating,,. Gosh! ..I hope this was helpful.

Loving your channel! Can you please show how to make a wipe equivalent to Mal A Ket wipes? My 12 wk blk GSD needs vulvaplasty surgery which they would like to do when spayed. In the meantime, she needs these medicated wipes that are 14.00 for 50 small wipes. With this issue, she drinks and urinates CONSTANTLY! sometimes 20-30 min apart. It's a NIGHTMARE and very expensive. Thank you!

I tried this and my dog goes crazy after I wipe him. I don’t know if it’s the smell but he goes nuts. That lasts for like 15-20 mins. He jumps all over the furniture and claw and scratches the floor and rugs. Ontop of that he’s still licking his paws a lot . Thoughts? Suggestion?
