Is there a way to record my stream (which includes the game and video capture device) and my webcam footage as a whole separately? I'm using a Sony A7III as my webcam, and I was wondering if it was possible to use the original file from the camera without hitting the record button on it, but have Streamlabs OBS record it anyway?

Awesome video, I followed this guide and it solved all my problems… quick question I was messing around last night and recorded a game and noticed the file size was over 12gb for a 10-15 min video, is there any way to lower the file size while keeping the graphics quality?

Hello,
First of all incredible tutorial. You helped me out a lot. I just have one problem: so I set everything up like you said for the mixer settings with all the audio stuff and when I try and record, I can hear the game sound but not myself... you can see the colored bar moving so that shows my mic does actually work and when I click on 'test audio' I can also hear myself speaking. So the sound actually just magically dissappear in the record. You have any idea what the problem is?

I followed your tutorial, and I tried recording small bits to make sure everything would work, and the only audio that outputs in the test recording is the game audio. Any ideas why my mic and spotify playlist won't get sound in the recording? I shows it works on the audio bars in streamlabs

Hello, thanks for the video but recording in MKV might be complicated for editing due to fact that a lot of people are using Vegas Pro for editing their content. And even if you enable Vegas to read those files it often gets glitchy and people would still need to convert MKV to MP4 in order to avoid such issue.

good tutorial. i have a question... i like how you isolated the audio so it can be edited separately. is there a way to isolate the cam too? instead of just removing it from the recording. i would like to record the cam and be able to remove it in the editor when my cam is covering something important then put it back when its clear

Hey, I would like to ask some questions
1. Im using Streamlabs on my laptop and gaming capture just doesnt capture my gameplay of league of legends, it worked once somehow but the quality of the recording was really bad and it worked ONLY once.
2. With window capture it also doesnt show league of legends as an option even though it was open, could it be that Im not in game so it was not an option?
3. Is there any forum that is recommended for beginners like me to learn from?
