Really enjoying this rebuild. Beautifully filmed, and produced. I also really like the fact you are refreshing parts wherever possible, using tools and equipment the average enthusiast will have access to! Excellent job
Cheers Patrick! Yeah even though I’m now in a much nicer space than I started, I always like the idea of seeing how far I can make the space and money go.
This content is awesome and the producto quality is very good. New sub. I’m excited to see where the ZX-7R goes. Chris from 44 Teeth needs to watch that series for motivation.
Haha, cheers! The production quality goes up and down to be fair, but I do try and make it a little better when I can. Haha, yeah I could blame Chris for me wanting to get the bike after that first Budget Bike Battle series!
Did most of the jobs in the vids to my 1992 FZR1000 last winter, and are looking for a ZX7R to be the next addition to my very small collection. No wonder I feel at home on this channel :)
Best bike restoration videos on UA-cam. Great attention to detail and well edited. I could watch hours of this stuff, keep it up!! Btw, you HAVE to do vids on the zx7 restoration!!
Magnificent job as always!!! Congratulations on the new tenant! Yes, please make videos for the Kawasaki as well. I'd love to see it fully stripped and restored! You are doing a perfect job with the FZR Tom. I'm absolutely certain the same quality will be delivered to the ZXR!!! Keep it up 😉
Cheers Chris! I'm still on track to have the FZR done by the summer, so I think I'll have one summer on the ZX7R before it comes inside for a full restore over the winter. Should give me a better idea of what needs doing too!
Nice job on the loom repairs, that waterproof connector looked so satisfying when fitted👌👌 also, where did you sell the child, I've got two to get shot of
Fiddly was a bit of an understatement, probably easier with practice but that took like 30 mins! Sold the child on Facebook Marketplace, search for the group "Cash4Kids" Great price, lovely service.
Where did you get your Hel lines? I got some from a shop that makes them under license (I found out later) and they didn't come with the new grommets. Seeing your rear line with the proper grommets makes me a bit annoyed that I had to reuse the original which don't fit the new lines well.
I used WeMoto here in the UK, although they’re made to order, I’m not sure if they come direct from HEL, the packaging suggests so. Oddly, it came with the two grommets, but the bike only had one fitting like that, so I’m yet to find a fix for the other ‘wire loop’ fitting as it just looks weird with the big grommet on it.
Definitely definitely definitely film the Kawasaki refresh❤
Definitely love to see a rebuild on the Ninja
Definitely the zx7r they have a special place in my heart.
Great! I'm hoping to do the service, ride it for the summer and bring it in for a winter rebuild.

And Yep we want the ZX7
Glad to be of service haha, will do!
Great stuff, keep it coming!
Cheers Ryan, that subframe looked good back on the bike, cheers again!
@@tomsworkshopprojects no worries let me know if you need a hand with the top end. Shims, measuring tools, gas porting for max bhp! You name it
@@ryanmulholland7142 Cheers Ryan, may seek your expertise for giving the carbs the full works soon!
Awesome I'll be looking forward to the next installment.👍
Thanks Steve!

Haha that’s familiar 😆 I’ll be doing a good restoration of the ZX7R next 👍🏻
Look how far we’ve come indeed - looks fab. Definitely do the new bike when done, everyone knows there’s always room for one more project...
Haha yep! And hopefully the next one will be in a new garage with power and won’t flood every time it rains!
Yes film the ZX7R, when you finish the exup. 👍
Will do!

Thanks Kaiser, means a lot! Glad to hear as I’m aiming to make them the way I’d want to watch them!

Good stuff! How much did you get for the spare child on Ebay? Asking for a friend.....
Cheers mate, it was a Facebook marketplace add called "Cash4Kids". 10/10, would recommend!
