    Reviews of clothing, boots, and accessories for men, along with style advice and life philosophy. I've been working with my hands for my entire life as a mechanic, tow truck driver, and eventually a licensed electrician. Being a blue collar guy, I look for certain elements in a product: is it durable? Is it high-quality? Will it perform well over its service life? Whether boots, pants, jackets, or tools I believe it's best to buy once and cry once by getting the best you can afford. With so many options these days, choosing the best product can become a difficult decision, but that's where I come in. Helping you stay stylish, rugged, and handsome.
    I don't care where it's made as long as it's made well, and allows you to buy less and buy better.

    One of the biggest parts I dislike about now working from home, is I no longer have a use for these awesome bags! The ones I have just sit around collecting dust and as much as I'd like this one, I'm sure it'd do the same! Great video!

    These videos are not only the best product reviews on UA-cam for quality goods, they're also unbelievably therapeutic to watch.

    Based on your reviews I bought a weekender, padfolio, tech organizer, dopp kit, and an executive from S&P.
    Garment bag will be next.

    I have no interest in buying a bag like this but i admire the craftsmanship. Both in the bag and the work you do in making these awesome videos

    Carl could you do a review for Theleathershop business briefcase 2? I own one and this briefcase has been by far the best bag that I've ever purchased. My only cons with it, is the edge not being burnished, but thats a cost saving thing.

    Right on the edge of buying their 4 way Briefcase. Have you had any experience with Overland? Their Pioneer CEO bag is screaming to me.

    Awesome review. I have the Port 2.0 which has served me well traveling (admittedly less common these days). It looks like they changed the interior compartments from leather to canvas, which might be an improvement as the leather interior pockets on mine stretched out quickly. The addition of padding to the laptop compartment and brass feet is a welcome change

    Btw they are doing a second run on those leather trucker jackets! I want one but they're damn expensive and I don't know if it's responsible for me to do lol, has anyone used Klarna before, how did that go?

      it's not worth it man, not for a "luxury" (in the senso of, not strictly necessary) item. Wait until you can actually afford it in full.

    also does the laptop pocket have padding at the base or is it slightly hung so as to minimize impact

    • @CarlMurawski
      @CarlMurawski  2 роки тому

      It does! If you load it strangely it might not be very sturdy, but it will stand up with no problem. Mine is sitting on the floor next to me as I type this.

    Anyone notice how leather bags are either around $200 (ruitertassen), most of them around $500, and the high end over $1000. Really feels like there is a void between $200 and $500 that only exists to push people into either one category or the other.

    • @CarlMurawski
      @CarlMurawski  2 роки тому

      True. Theres a strange gap mostly due to material cost. You CAN get leather for less, but it's probably not what you'd want to use as a maker.

    • @36424567254
      @36424567254 2 роки тому

      that's actually strange from a marketing practice, but better for the consumer. In most markets, you will find products at every price points, for the SOLE reason that buyers with that budget will buy them, even if they have no sane reason to exist (except price points saturation), because their value for money is much worse then both the cheaper (of which they are insignificantly better) and more expensive (of which they are clearly worse) products.

    Man purse? Ok UA-cam how is this on my feed why is this on my feed well UA-cam got me here I did not go looking for this but my opinion time anyway ready It is not for me and if a man with a man purse is in line in front of me I pick another line they are always a problem. If you don't like my opinion that is fine but in my experience 100% of men I have met irl with a man purse are just the worst at being people.
