My life is way out of control. to the point its affecting me emotionally. I had a garage sale in Mar & gave everything away that didn't sell. I went through my garage yest (all day) took pics of items I'm not big on painting now. If they dont sell, out to the curb or my sweet neighbor. I would ❤ to meet you one day. Your videos always have a message & your beautiful creations. The videos always time to something I'm working through . Much love to you.
I can relate...I am so overwhelmed and feel like I will never catch up. And then my elderly mom was admitted to a nursing home in February. Life has become even more overwhelming. It sounds as if you have been taking big steps to help yourself. Congrats on that.
This is beautiful! I junk my beautiful house to the point that I couldn't breath. I'm selling on ebay and I have to many interested shit!. I start cleaning/ organizing this bs. I was always organized/ super clean house. Always wanted to paint furniture but my ex h was making fun of it. Well, I do sell them. I'm working on organizing my place. My garden was the priority lately. Love you Debbie!
@@slonecznikdoniczkowy exactly how my home & garage are. I can't walk through them. I thought I could get pieces painted & sold but I'm partially disabled so it takes month's to complete. Lol ebay & fb marketplace are my friends as of late. Gardens let us breathe. I completely relate. Hopefully we all get things cleared out & move on. Have a great day.
It's 2:30 am on the east coast and I couldn't sleep.... your video made me laugh, tear up and be all kinds of inspired!!!!❤❤❤ Thank you for the gift you are!!! The Lord is using you in many mighty ways.🙏🏻I'm getting up to go declutter my sewing room now😁
I just found your channel when researching your DIY paints! I think you’re an amazing soul and your stance on things, how people should be with one another is the same I try and teach my son. I love your esthetic, and your taste and wish I was closer. We live in the SW, not too far from California but it may be awhile till I can visit! I soon will have a DIY channel, and know others that have DIY home based businesses here and will reach out when our good Lord has aligned things so that I may sell your products. I feel blessed to have found you, you leave me with a sense of calm I haven’t had in a long time. God bless you, and yours, and thanks for being who you are!🙏💕
Thank you Debi (and team) for all the videos, but most of all sharing yourself and stories with us! Your videos always seem to be a message I need to hear. I have been in a creative slump lately and also need to go through my hoard and get organized. I found myself lacking motivation. Your videos always seem to motivate me when I need it most. You are beautiful and talented both inside and out! Thank you for all the inspiration and for reminding us of God's everlasting love! Xoxxo
This video has left me speechless (in a good way) I'm recognising myself in so many ways..your taste and style and boldness with colour is inspired and soo beautifully presented,I would love to share ideas ,hints and tips with you. I am also quite a hoarder, but eventually I find a use for almost everything! Thankyou for showing me your stuff! ❤
I love the Mirrors with your paint and the IOD Transfers!! Beautiful!! I understand the feeling of being overwhelmed and not being in the mood to do what you need to do. I don't think it's about regret. I don't regret buying the things I have. I regret not doing what I hoped to do with them. Life is overwhelming sometimes, we are all going through at different stages in our life journey. I've been in a rough spot for the past 10years plus. Each day can be a new beginning to make things better and move forward to a better state of mind!! Be kind to yourself and others. We are all going through this together!!❤❤❤❤
I hate cleaning my hoard. We are working on it our barn and garage. It’s hard. But it feels so good when it’s done. I can’t wait to come visit your shop in September, I always get so inspired ❤.
Debi, Thank you so much for this video….tons of inspiration and words of wisdom. You are a wonderful source of sunshine and love..both spiritually and visually. And it’s so wonderful to see your family being so inspired by you and creating in their own way. You are a wonderful inspiration on all of us. The creator creating and showing us how special and how loved we all are…❤
“Backbiting quenches the light of the heart and extinguishes the life of the soul.” Keeping that in mind when we feel tempted to hurt others with our thoughts and words, is a big help.
You were my first youtuber to watch. I love that your heart is as beautiful as your fabulous personality and just beautiful talented self. My faith is strengthened and refreshed. Glad I'm still watching you. mercy grace and love one another ... " that is how they will know you are my desciples" amen ❤ Thank you for being here!
At the end of the video, in Debi's booth... the little cake stands with the transfers! YES! Also, the little tray with the birds! I have some wooden trays, too! So inspiring!
I loved the pink table you used at the conference. Thank you for showing how to paint using pink hues. The activities at this conference are excellent character building and therapeutic. Thanks for sharing.
Oh Debi I have a garage full of assemblage art materials, tools, paintings, unfinished projects…Originally planned as my studio but it’s too hot in summer, too cold in winter and now a frightening calamity of dusty junk. Just last night I realized what a heavy burden it is and decided to sell and give away most. The idea that I might regret buying a lot of it is a new and interesting one I’ll think about. Mostly I’m sad I won’t live the hundred years it would take me to use it all! 😂 One thing you can say about your messy spot is it’s colorful! It’s a beautiful confluence of rainbows, wood, metal, torsos and best laid plans. 🎉 With all the loving help you have I’m sure you’ll be ready for the launch-look at all you’ve already done in the last 2 years!
It reminds me of a Calvin and Hobbes that I saw years ago, Calvin was deep in thought and he says something like, “God appointed me to do certain things in my life….and I’m so far behind I may never die”. I too have so many projects to do that I may not finish them all before I die, but I just keep plugging away. I try to celebrate each accomplishment more instead of just checking it off my list and going on to the next project. Now I try not to start a new room until the other is finished for now (of course I keep thinking of more things that I could do to it). Even though it sometimes causes me anxiety, I wouldn’t trade it for all the dull, organized spaces that I see everywhere; it’s the price to pay for a creative mind.
Oh Debi, you're not alone! I've been decluttering with my friend and tossing things ive been hanging on to. It feels so good afterwards. I've had to put painting on hold for awhile. I moved again... Seeing all your cool projects sure gives me the itch to paint but i have a basement to go through first. I'm really loving your videos and learning more about you and how alot of us are more alike than we might think. Take it easy my friend! ❤😘
Debbie, the reason so many people can relate to you, is because you are humble, creative, and have a great sense of self and humor. You also embrace your mistakes and I love your stories on how you overcame life's trails and tribulations. Now the person who is getting nailed to the cross, and boy is she ever, doesn't deserve all the hate directed at her. Yes, she made mistakes and said and did inappropriate things, but who hasn't?? I don't think she is what they are saying about her. I also question if she was the one who said and did those things. Being that she has a history of letting other people use her social media accounts and act on her behalf. That's how it all got started, she gave a young fan access and let him say whatever he wanted pretending to be her. How quickly those who adored her are all now out to lynch her. It's times like this when you see who your real friends are.
Debi, I can relate to working 6 hours on decluttering and feeling like I've not made progress or just feeling overwhelmed and defeated at the end of the day. ESPECIALLY when you're a Creative, it's so easy to see the "joy-sparking" potential in EVERYthing! The thing that helped me was Dana K. White of A Slob Comes Clean. She's on UA-cam, has a podcast, and 3 books. She has a system that guarantees "progress and only progress." There's none of that "It always looks worse before it looks better." No! And none of the bazillion questions to ask yourself about every. single. item. It ALWAYS looks better and you start with the easy stuff first. I think you may appreciate her because she takes the emotion out of it. I also think that you would find her "Container Concept" useful, especially in terms of your storage shed and your classroom area.
So sweet that Elle is narrating this video. How great is it that Danielle and your dad are now working on projects without you that turn out so nicely! I had to laugh towards the end with Bobby (I assume) at the Antique Mall waving his arm behind the mannequin. You folks are so funny. I feel for you Debi with all the stuff stored outside! But you're a tough girl and you'll get 'er done! Sending you some good energy for that wretched task. (I've got my own situation like that too, but have a bad back at the moment, so that's my excuse! LOL!)
As always, your videos are very informative and make me feel happier. It’s not that I’m sad, I just feel better just looking at all your creative endeavors 💜Thank you for sharing.
I'm becoming a hoarder. When I moved to my new home, I rented a booth at an Antique Mall, and then went crazy on rummaging, and thrifting. Unfortunately, I thrifted items faster than they sold, and my garage, basement and enclosed trailer quickly filled up fast. Now I have no room to create. It is overwhelming.
Teamwork makes the Dream Work... So why not get everyone in the* Shop* to help you with the over whelming projects. What a concept! Everything you want done gets done faster. Good Luck Debi, and Best Wishes to you all.🎉😅❤
I bought the cute blue wooden stool for my grandson last time @ the antique mall booth in Encinitas. Lots of inspo!! I stop by often, as project ideas spin around in my noggin. Love the membership idea and that is also faith based. I’d love to do a class or workshop!
Man I really feel this my basement craft area has got out of control and Im super sad about that and just can’t get it together to clean/straighten it out😩
I love your authenticity and I love your creativity! It is off the charts! I love your heart, but mostly I love how much you love Jesus! Continue being the Salt and the Light! You’re such a blessing to us!
At the point in my life to let go of unrealistic projects, need Gods wisdom to follow through! I find some little thing that sparks either memories or ideas, swallow hard and put in my grace box, it can go if I don’t do the project within a certain time frame! At least there is a plan! Bless you and your tasks, remember to pat yourself on the back for any success!
Hi Debi, I can see how much work you've been doing towards getting open and functioning the way you want it to be in your 2 spaces...Even though it seems a bridge too far, you are making great progress! Both locations are getting there! It's like you and I are syncopated (is that a word?), I have been giving all my daily energy to re opening my new shop since I returned from the U.S. on 26th May. 4 weeks!! And I'm getting close but some days I question will I ever open? Big shop to tiny shop is not for the feint hearted! 😮. I have been stealing some time from setting up each day to play in DIY paint and create beauty every day from home 🌈. It's been like my tonic to get me through this tough period. Love to you and the Family xoxo
Regret about throwing things away is a big one . Usually needed by a family member after thrown . I'm.a semi hoarder memory keeper eclectic clutterering Recycler ha
I love this! You guys create beautiful things/recycling is just the way forward. Massively inspirational, thank you :) One of the favourite things I noticed was the relooking of the old antique chair with the lovely cheery pastel colours and its old vintage fabric.
I completely understand where you are coming from, Debi. You are an absolute inspiration. I would love to be able to come and just sit and talk to you. Hopefully, one day I live all the way in Tennessee. I am just a hillbilly hick LOL.❤
So so much info in this video you definitely were my first UA-cam videographer I watched and have never turned back I enjoy watching your stories and adventures !! The sansavieria looks great!! There’s a grumpy person at work and I say “thank you for loving me with all my faults “ under my breath and to fellow associates also need to affirm I only receive the good from that person ! I too am a clutter monster lol It’s my Gemini in me or creative but like my Pinterest board says “pretty shiny” I leave us both with “out of this situation only my Best will come” Warmly 🍓Stacy Somewhere over the Rainbow🌈is right here right now🌈💫🌈✨🌈❤️
you're a creative person that sees potential on items that others would toss out. Yes, it's a thing! I have learned, however, to pass those "free" or "inexpensive" items that I know that I can up-cycle, look cute, and sell. Why? because I think about the stress the clutter brings. Think about it. The stress/anxiety of storing it, the pending "i need to deal with it". Save yourself the stress and anxiety and pass on them. There will always be more. We can't save them all, but we can wait until we have the time to create.
I love you Debbie for long time. You sound like my best friend/ sister and to see you progressing, sticking to truly You, not to follow a trend it's amazing! Say hi to papa and ofcourse I'm looking for the invitation to the wedding whenever.... I can't see it that it's coming! You are my muse, lovely soft soul. BTW, I'm not a stucker, just your huge admirer. ( English is my 2 language...sorry!). Please come to visit Rockford,IL sometime. Xoxoxo.❤ you have a Polish folower here.
I wish i lived close too you. I could use all some of your freebees. But i live in Louisiana but your right. Im a horder but thats what makes us unique.
My regret is that I buy stuff to sell and when I bring it in the house and I look around, I see previous stuff that I bought to sell that I haven’t posted yet. And then it kind of de-motivates me to clean…I just feel kind of guilty.
I have empathy for people ,but not when they treat another in a poor way they say is happening to them. It's like bullied people thinking that bullying is the answer. I'll say no more ,because so many influencers have remained neutral or unbiased and simply been a relaxing place. Those who have are there to help and bring joy. You have done that.
Oh wow…. New subscriber here. Oh, I absolutely adore you and your videos! I am hooked. Your creative energy is so contagious and inspiring. Thank you for what you do.
It would be awesome to have a class where students get to choose a piece of "clutter" to transform using DIY paint etc.... That would be a fun way to clean up.
I could watch your life, good or bad for hrs. & hrs. The mirror is awesome! Your sister has come into her own. What a great idea on the snake plants..I have heard them sometimes called mother in laws tounge. Don't know if that one is really ever it's name. But it kinda makes some sense. Lol
I've been binge-watching your videos for 2 days now. I'm not a furniture painter yet as I do not have a garage or room in my craft room. But I am curious about all your paints and how well they work on small things. I'm one of those crafter creators that love to work with tiny things. The smaller I can make something, the better. Do any of your creator friends use your paints on tiny things that I could follow and see how it works? I cannot wait to try them.
Yes, lots of artist use our paints for canvas and small things because it’s highly pigmented easy to clean up with water and will adhere to just about anything. If you don’t watch Jamie Ray vintage, that might be a good channel for you to see they take things from the thrift store and paint them. Also, Carmen’s curiosities does a lot of crafting with our paint. There are many people using it. These are just two to.
Oddly, when you were talking about God it made me tear up. Love your videos. I always see something I like and get new ideas. Oh gosh, I love those painted overalls on the mannequin! 🤩
Hi debbie. Heres a idea. Your next class. Let your people who come to your class pick a item from your shed and let them decorate them like they think they would like too. Then your have fresh idea and the place will he cleaned and then you could sell. Just idea. And maybe a side walk summer sale
I’m confused about which dogs live with which family member. I need a cheat sheet. Loved the mirror. Fabulous idea. And yes, this is judgy, but your mirror is soooo much better than the blobby mirrors created with construction foam. Which issue of Where Women Create is your article in? The address of the antique mall is not in the description.
We called it that when I grew up in Jamaica too! I can't stand those plants, but they are actually the perfect thing for Danielle's planter! (I'm betting Debi is just dying to paint that a bright colour - like maybe PINK? LOL!)
I know exactly who your referring to, I’ve watched her for some time now, and I don’t understand how people who don’t even ACTUALLY know a person can judge that person from people who start crap and just keep it going for no reason! People make mistakes in their past and some learn from it and move on but those who love to hurt others and make drama feed on that crap and just want views! So sickening and sad. I feel for her and her family ❤ 🙁
She said late September. She is waiting for the iron orchid sisters to tell when product is ready. I seen yesterday they said Sep / Oct. I am coming !!
why not create a kit of wooden sandle or plaque with sample paints with random transfers and mail them out using the kids boxes. Just a great idea and a good way for people to try out your products, these boxes could be mystery boxes!! That will make it exciting for the buyers.
I am starting a organizing & Decorating business. I have a lot of ‘skeleton’ spaces!! Who would hire me knowing that. Lol. I can make almost anything pretty and rescue so many things. It got ahead of me by 10 times over! Now I have moved and stored so many times I need to make a little off of it instead of donating or throwing away.
Sometimes the Christian community can be the worst when it comes to being unkind. We need to stay closely connected to the source of joy, kindness, and love so that it can flow through us❤ Cool thing is as the world because darker our lights can shine brighter❤
Such a beautiful and poignant video, your faith and hopefulness is a comfort when things are hard

Who is Bobby?
I have a side table like the one you were going to be working on in Maryland, please show what you did to it.
I really love your style and art ! I enjoy watching your life journey. It was a great inside info about decluttering . God bless you always!!
Great creative crafting and spiritual retreat! Love!

Welcome back❤❤
I love this!
Thank you for sharing your faith.
I love how you share your love of Jesus and showcase your creativity.
Keep shining!
I too am a clutter monster lol It’s my Gemini in me or creative but like my Pinterest board says “pretty shiny” I leave us both with “out of this situation only my Best will come”
Warmly
🍓Stacy
Somewhere over the Rainbow🌈is right here right now🌈💫🌈✨🌈❤️
you're a creative person that sees potential on items that others would toss out.
Miss Debbi ! We miss you ! I hope everything is good in your life !!!!💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸💥💥🌸💥🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸💥💥💥💥💥💥💥😊😊😊😊🌸🌸
We miss you too! We are good♥️♥️♥️ just lots of extra work. New video this week.
I wish i lived close too you. I could use all some of your freebees. But i live in Louisiana but your right. Im a horder but thats what makes us unique.
Decluttering my entire life right now 😂😊🎉 it’s a whole job!! Go girl!!
I really like Blue Hills.
I would totally like to see a junk journal piece of furniture. I have thought of this many times before.
So touching Debi! Thank you!💙🎨
My regret is that I buy stuff to sell and when I bring it in the house and I look around, I see previous stuff that I bought to sell that I haven’t posted yet.
Loved the mirror. Hope to see it hung up.
Oh wow…. New subscriber here. Oh, I absolutely adore you and your videos! I am hooked. Your creative energy is so contagious and inspiring. Thank you for what you do.
Love the mirror it went for ok to fabulous
It would be awesome to have a class where students get to choose a piece of "clutter" to transform using DIY paint etc.... That would be a fun way to clean up.
I could watch your life, good or bad for hrs. & hrs. The mirror is awesome! Your sister has come into her own. What a great idea on the snake plants..I have heard them sometimes called mother in laws tounge. Don't know if that one is really ever it's name. But it kinda makes some sense. Lol
I agree and yes to the sansavieria being mother in laws tongue !!
So touching, Debbie. Love your messages. Warm hugs from Texas!
Wonderful, I will check them out. Thank you so much!

❤❤❤ I think you should make a t-shirt that says "SITUATION".....I love how (and when) you use that word....ADORABLE ❤❤❤
Love you Debi!! I’m gonna work to get DIY paint in Burlington VT! You have taught me and inspired me. Thank you!!
Love the wood doors at the shop!
Oddly, when you were talking about God it made me tear up. Love your videos. I always see something I like and get new ideas. Oh gosh, I love those painted overalls on the mannequin! 🤩
This is absolutely amazing!❤ I like seeing your shoes 😊
💖LOVE💖 that mirror! What a GREAT idea….❣️. As always….GREAT video. 🙋🏼♀️💖❣️⚡️🎉👏🏻
The summer issue❤ Elle was supposed to put the address there. I make sure we add it❤
Debi, where in Maryland is this retreat center? I live in Baltimore, so was curious.
The Claggett center not sure the name of the town.
@@DebisDesignDiary oh ok…..it’s out near Frederick, Maryland. Beautiful area!
Lol bobby playing with the mannequin
We call those mothers in law tongue lol. I love these weekly cottage diaries. Everything is just so perfect.. Amen Debi.
We called it that when I grew up in Jamaica too! I can't stand those plants, but they are actually the perfect thing for Danielle's planter! (I'm betting Debi is just dying to paint that a bright colour - like maybe PINK? LOL!)
Lol yes!😊
You are awesome. Thank you
I know exactly who your referring to, I’ve watched her for some time now, and I don’t understand how people who don’t even ACTUALLY know a person can judge that person from people who start crap and just keep it going for no reason! People make mistakes in their past and some learn from it and move on but those who love to hurt others and make drama feed on that crap and just want views! So sickening and sad. I feel for her and her family ❤ 🙁
Me too, it is so so sad. I just keep praying for her every time I think about it.
do you have a date for the launch party?
She said late September. She is waiting for the iron orchid sisters to tell when product is ready. I seen yesterday they said Sep / Oct. I am coming !!
I would like to come too!
why not create a kit of wooden sandle or plaque with sample paints with random transfers and mail them out using the kids boxes. Just a great idea and a good way for people to try out your products, these boxes could be mystery boxes!! That will make it exciting for the buyers.
That’s a fun idea❤
The best part it moves your inventory. I will be looking out,I would love to buy a mystery box.
Gods Grace / Be Kind to You !! Sooooo east to say soooo hard to learn 💖💖💖💖
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦
My life is that out of control plus more😂😢
Beautiful Class 💕
I am starting a organizing & Decorating business. I have a lot of ‘skeleton’ spaces!! Who would hire me knowing that. Lol. I can make almost anything pretty and rescue so many things. It got ahead of me by 10 times over! Now I have moved and stored so many times I need to make a little off of it instead of donating or throwing away.
Love it!!Shyla💜
A broken heart means more pieces to share.
I'm confused. I thought you closed the store.
We closed the Encinitas store and opened a booth plus Cedros is open on weekends.
It’s better to try and offer help than to criticize someone
Sometimes the Christian community can be the worst when it comes to being unkind. We need to stay closely connected to the source of joy, kindness, and love so that it can flow through us❤ Cool thing is as the world because darker our lights can shine brighter❤
That's part of it. It's very stressful.
The cake plates with glass covers Gail
I think that most of us have an excess of inspired materials. by the way, who is Bobby?
An old friend
My problem is not regret. It is lack of motivation.
You wrote this about me lol!!
Love youuuu💕💕💕
Awesome video friend! I love your heart and your heart for Jesus! Thanks for the mention!! 😘
Love you too Beth! You did such a beautiful job with the junk journaling class. I really am hoping to do a piece of furniture inspired by it :-)
Already crying here what’s going on!
Who is Bobby in your life?
