A dog like her didn’t become a stray by herself. Some old person died, and landlords or relatives drove her somewhere and dumped her.
She definitely was “fed well” so that sadly and probably was the case. I’m happy shes doing so much better now

I recognize that side-eye look at 1:15. Margo is thinking, "Didn't we JUST walky walky yesterday?" I've given people that same look. Way to stick with it Margo!

Just like with people, it can be hard for animals to lose a lot of weight, and they need the right support system.
My girlfriend of six years has lost over 120 pounds since I met her, and she credits my support with a lot of her success. I say she had it in her all the time, and I'm so proud of her, and will continue to help her reach her future goals, both in weight loss and whatever else she wants in life.
So glad Margo found the support to have her be the dog she always wanted to be.
As an overweight person with a loving wife who supports my journey, I can't begin to tell you how important it is to have the support from a loved you. This is something your girlfriend is never gonna forget, trust me.
Congratulations to your girlfriend. Thanks for supporting her.

Can you imagine how good Margo must have felt the first time she had a little run around? She’s a really beautiful dog and was obviously very loved, just in the wrong way! Thank you for all your hard work, you’ve helped Margo get a new lease on life to do lots of doggy things she couldn’t do before!!

You rescued Margo from a shelter, you've loved her for eight months, you've helped her lose over 50 pounds, etc. etc. That sounds like a lot of dedication to me. I believe that Margo has found her forever home right where she is!!!
A lot of people want to foster more dogs and they can't do that if they just keep em. So I get how even through all that she would choose to still let the dog be adopted

I don’t think I’ve ever been more inspired to lose weight in my life then now after watching this pretty girl🥰 I’m telling your dogs just hit your heart and make you want to be a better person. I am so proud of her. She works so hard!

The Training Montage music made me LOL! Our little pibble girl was also a bit (Ok, a LOT) overweight when we got her from the shelter. When you're trying to get a dog to exercise and they don't want to, you gotta get devious to get them to exercise! In other words, healthy SNACKS! 😆

Oh wow! I’m just thrilled to pieces that she lost all that weight and she can breath better, move better and have more energy without all that poundage! Well done foster mom for helping her achieve what you did. Oh gosh I’m tearing up I’m so proud of this dog. She really got into it.

That is one strong foster mom. I can't imagine fostering a sweet doggo for 8 months and having to give her to another family.
It's such a fun video! I'm working on my pittie's weight as well. It certainly is a journey and I should show her this video. I hope her little wiggling butt gets adopted.
Same as us on a weight loss journey, me my wife and our pittie. It's sometimes hard for her with having a luxating patella in one of her back legs along with hip dysplasia, pt helped get her moving again.. and it's amazing because I think she sees my wife and I trying so she wants to keep going too. Good luck on your journey, be well.

Sad to see animals so obese…they aren’t responsible for it as humans are…no thumbs, they can’t cook, raid the fridge or serve. At least 50. Kudos to you for helping her…she couldn’t even enjoy her dog life😢✌🏻

Most digs can’t ipen a fride but yes they occasionally can✌🏻
Humans aren’t really that responsible for it either. The amount of obesity is in direct correlation with how we’ve changed the food to sell more of it. If a higher percentage of people are more obese than 40 years ago then something is happening in the society that makes people fatter. It’s not just all people being lazier
I've literally never seen an overweight Pitbull in my life but I'm from California. I'm so happy to see someone care enough to help her out.
Have you lived in a bubble all your life? The majority of pitbull and pitbull mixes are overweight.

MARGO! I found her ig right from the start and got to watch her progress from start to finish. She is such an incredible dog, who is incredibly loved by her foster mom, grandma, grandpa, and dog roommates! She’s a rock star!

What an inspiration she is. Our doggie granddaughter Elsa has been on a strict diet with small occasional treats and we mean really small. And daily walkies, so that she can loose about 3 to 4 kg 😢 but it is very heartbreaking . She is loosing but so very slow.
One consolidation we have is that she plays a lot with her young sister and chasing the garden birds, which seems to be the bain of her life 😂
We also throw balls in the garden which they both love.
Can't wait for the day she has reached her goal.

By caring for this dog and making sure she ate the right foods so she could lose weight, you saved her life. I really wish whoever let her go could see her now and understand she is a good dog and always was. I am hoping for a good home for her where people care enough to help her and love her.

I adopted a chihuahua that was overweight. He was depressed and generally uninterested in everything. Got him on a diet and long walks and he started losing the weight. Now he can jump and run, it’s had a noticeable effect on his mood and interest in life
