I worked at a camp for the handicapped. This camp had a stray cat mascot that became a permanent resident because one of his paws was bent to the side. Probably crippled at birth. Everyone loved him. And I don’t remember who’s idea it was to call him 9-iron, but it was perfect and it sorta fit. Everyone who heard it was like yeah no yeah we’re definitely nam in g him that.
I know this video is 3 years old, but it is so incredibly heartwarming that I have watched it over & over again. Thank you to all of the beautiful people who rescue animals. There is a special place in heaven for you! Love & light to all! ❤️🌈

He lived for years dragging himself around the yard and house..... played with us children. Dog the dog... he lived for years happy as can be. It is lucky that these folks are financially privileged enough to afford all this healthcare. Many homes would not be able to work through so many expensive health needs. I'm glad he got himself a good life. He looks happy. I love the lesson they're teaching kids about seeing, accepting, and embracing differences.
Most people aren't going to read this, but I wanted to give a special thanks to the Dodo for your content. Nubby's story, as well as many others, has helped me through so much. I have suffered with mental health issues for a couple of years, and for a long time, there was no hope for me. But now, watching these videos and seeing all of these incredible animals and people, it really motivated me to become a part of something bigger. I wanted to thank you for helping me find hope and a reason to carry on.

Cherish that i adopted mine while denver had the ban on pits and i saved him from animal controll that first day and i hid him and loved him when no one in 100 miles would ever day since hes my little ann frank and then the ban lifted about 2 years ago the craziest thing is he had a slew of behaviorial issues until that happened he knew i was scared for his life so i think he would urinate and eat trash but all that stopped when i was able to stop worrying i always find myself wondering who saved who i onow it sounds cliche but its true
They really are. Mark, from the video, is actually my father and he’s always been very supportive. He’s been very caring and nurturing to every dog that he and Lou have fostered too. I visit them regularly and I get to see Nubby in person along with all their other dogs and I think you’d be hard-pressed to find a better environment for dogs in need of a foster home.

I love how they take Nubbs to the school to educate the kids. This couple is wonderful. This is definitely a step in the right direction.
If we are able to teach the youth how to be empathetic towards every living being we will have a better future. That’s for sure. We need to teach how to love, ppl think that’s something that’s natural in all of us and is not true. We need to spread it
I AGREE. Kids should be taught from day one to commune w/ all animals. Humans can become such animal abusers because they never knew the love of an animal. Humans need animals to keep us all sane in this world. People should NOT hunt either, hunting is not a so called sport, it is ruthless behavior that must be stopped. Hunting is cruelty to animals, nothing less. Kids NEED to be acquainted w/ animals, it ALL starts when they are small. Kids need to learn to RESPECT animals & to ALWAYS be KIND to them.

Cherish that i adopted mine while denver had the ban on pits and i saved him from animal controll that first day and i hid him and loved him when no one in 100 miles would ever day since hes my little ann frank and then the ban lifted about 2 years ago the craziest thing is he had a slew of behaviorial issues until that happened he knew i was scared for his life so i think he would urinate and eat trash but all that stopped when i was able to stop worrying i always find myself wondering who saved who i onow it sounds cliche but its true

They really are. Mark, from the video, is actually my father and he’s always been very supportive. He’s been very caring and nurturing to every dog that he and Lou have fostered too. I visit them regularly and I get to see Nubby in person along with all their other dogs and I think you’d be hard-pressed to find a better environment for dogs in need of a foster home.

@@NarcFreeFormula Agreed. I'm sure the designer put a lot of thought and time into these wheels, and it is so great they have them for dogs, but I wish they could somehow streamline them. They look so bulky and heavy. I wonder how a molded plastic body that would fit and support the chest better would work, with the wheels attached? Probably not possible. I am sure they have thought of every angle.
