If you’re making 12 cupcakes, buttermilk should be 1/2 cup and 24 cupcakes, one cup. he says this in the video, but the printed instructions are wrong. I did the printed instructions and it was not thick enough. Also, when you use the multiplier on the printed instructions from the website, it does not adjust the grams. It does adjust the Imperial measurements.
We should add one cup buttermilk or 1/2 cup ?? According to his recipe . He makes 12 cupcakes in the video
He says half. The subtitles says 1 cup. They messed up. So which one is it?
If you pause and look closely at the line of where the butter milk was on the measuring cup it says "1 cup"
It's 1/2 cup of buttermilk to 12 cupcakes. 1 cup to 24

Hands down best cupcake I’ve made thus far! It was a major hit for my son’s birthday! Btw I did use the milk/vinegar mixture to replace buttermilk and it was perfect!
Did you use natural or Dutch process cocoa powder?
Hi! I used just regular Ghirardelli unsweetened cocoa powder but I guess anything works 😊

It’s definitely my favorite chocolate cupcake recipe!
~Dry ingredients~
Flour-1 1/2 cup
Sugar-1 1/4 cup
Baking soda-3/4 tsp
Cocoa powder-1/4 cup
~wet ingredients~
Egg-1(room temperature)
Butter milk-1/2 cup
Oil-1/2 cup
Vanilla extract-2 tsp
Espresso powder-1-2tsp(optional)
1/4 teaspoon of Salt as well
If you don't have buttermilk, put 1 tablespoon of lemon into 1/2 cup of milk

this is such a simple and delicious recipe!! loved it, but i did make some changes
1. i reduced the sugar to 100g
2. added a quarter bar of chopped up chocolate
3. skipped the frosting

I still get memories of when I was small I burnt the top but not the inside so I got all of the cupcakes and mashed it in the cake batter then I added the icing I had to make another one because I ate the other one,Then I freezes it it was kinda good😊
