Only do this after you change your oil and do all the stuff otherwise it will not be a reliable way of telling when stuff is necessary anymore

Straight to the point, thank you very much. I have the B-1-2-3 on mine. I think it's for the tire rotations and airfilter.
No problem, glad it helped. The B is oil and oil filter change, 1 is tire rotation, 2 is engine and cabin air filter replacement, and 3 is transmission fluid service.

Ohhh, man! Great video. Thanks for showing us how to do this. I took my '18 CRV-EXL in for it's first oil change to my Honda dealership. The $68 price turned into $102 after they added tire rotation I didn't need since I had just bought new Michelin's at Discount to replace the crappy stock Hankook tires. Okay, no big deal. But now I'm at 13000 miles and it's time for B1 oil change/tire rotation/filters. NO!! They want $148 for synthetic oil change (filter included) and multi point inspection. They also want $200+ to replace air and cabin filters. I already ordered the cabin and air filters ($51 for both) from an online Honda dealership) and will install them myself.
I was worried about how to reset the maintenance minder light, but you've resolved that part. Thank you!!
John Gonzales glad I could help and wow that’s crazy. At the Honda I work at full synthetic oil change and rotation is $69 if you want tires balanced $100, engine and cabin air $100 installed for both. Anyway glad I could help and enjoy the new CR-V
With that being said I don't have to bring my Honda Crv exl 2018 to oil change at all? Or there's a period of time?

Is the oil life 2000 km or 5000 for turbo?
1:44 Before the wrench icon, what is that frame icon to the left of it and how do I add that icon to my 2018 Honda CR-V EX-L? I assume that icon shows what each tire pressure level is.

press the lock button once，then press and hold the circle arrow button for more than two seconds
Hi! I have 2019 CRV EX and I was getting B7 maintenance minder code. I changed engine oil and filter and followed steps you mentioned in your video. It shows 100% oil life But somehow now I am getting maintenance code A. Not sure why.
Do you have suggestions on how I can clear this code?
Code a is also an oil change. It swaps from a to b. Also the 7 meant you need to change the brake fluid
@@HONDACARGUY Sorry for late reply. Yes, I was able to find this information when I was searching up on this issue. I have already changed filter and oil on my CRV.
My question is, how can I reset the code so it goes away like it should? I tried to reset it multiple times but for whatever reason, I am still getting this code and keeps alternating between code A and B7 when I try to reset it. Ideally I shouldn't be getting this code B7 or A after the oil and filter change, and resetting it. you know what I mean?

Hello, how do I take off Distance to Engine oil and filter replacement sign. Its got a _ _ _ _ _km sign too.
There should be a button to hold for mph/km wish I was near crv to make a video for you. If it is an lx will be the trip/select button, if ex and higher it will be in the menu screen.
I have a 2019 LX CRV. The little wrench and a tire symbol are appearing on the dash board. I had the oil changed and the method to remove the wrench is not the "Trip" button. I had a blowout and after having the tires (all four as it was time), the tire symbol light continues to burn. I don't know if they should while the engine is running. Can I reset these indicators?
Depending on model you either hair the main display by going to settings vehicle then down to maintenance and then reset. There is also a chance you have to use the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel you will hit the i button until you see a wrench then you press the middle button once it starts flashing you press and hold and it will reset. Lastly you may have to use the trip button until you find the maintenance where it tells you percentage or miles past due then you press and hold the trip button for like 10 seconds. Let me know if you need more help

What’s the difference between engine oil and oil and filter?
A service is just an oil change b is oil change with oil filter in my opinion this is not good you should change the filter every time you change your oil.

Chicago Tech that is impossible it’s not oil level... it’s oil life if you held the button it will reset or someone did it for you.
I did this to mine and it now shows nothing on the oil life , no percentage , and on the dash it shows oil replace in ............kms ,
any ideas ? Any advice appreciated , the dealer did not reset at the 10,000 kms service
What model crv do you have? Lx, ex, exl, or touring? Also where you live do they use kilometers or miles because you can switch back and forth. If you go back into vehicle settings and scroll down to maintenance information it should say in small letters at the top what service is next and the percentage.
Essentially a touring model, Australia , first reset says
A Oil / filter
Reset and nothing
Then next attempt
B oil
Reset and nothing
No percentage value shown
A C ok is there an option to all items? Also have you tried resetting from the button by instrument cluster being in a different county they may have it set up through the button you change your tripometer with?
No option to all items, it’s either oil , or oil plus filter , A B , instrument stick does nothing
When I do exactly as expected via the info system , everything does as your video shows except the result is essentially no result
I have 0 1 instead of A 1 showing in the screen, but i have no idea what 0 means in this case? Does anybody know?

ELPIOJOBOLUDO it will until you drive several hundred miles and will go down to 90% then 80% and etc. also you can change the screen you are on as well so it doesn’t stay there all the time

ELPIOJOBOLUDO the arrow buttons lower left side of steering wheel they pull toward you or the button sticking out of the cluster depending on what model you have
The maintenance minder is not accurate it gives the same reading for Synthetic oil and Conventional, I reset whenever it tells me is at 15% and change the full synthetic oil every 5,000 miles.
Luis Castillo you should only be using the manufacturer recommended full synthetic
@@HONDACARGUY I put it to the test using Castrol full synthetic oil & using Honda blend and it gives the same reading every 2,500 something miles the oil change minder turns on, this is done to get you in the dealer more frequently to have your oil change & whatever else the maintenance minder code puts out.
Luis Castillo the car has no way of knowing what oil is in it... The car uses driving habits, time and miles to calculate the maintenance minder.
