- Here is how to reset the low tire light for tpms ( tire pressure monitoring system ) on a 2017 and 2018 Honda CRV all CR-V models EX and above. This process is the the same for all 2016, 2017 and 2018 Honda Civic ex models and above as well as Honda Accord models ex exl and touring

YOU ARE THE MAN! The last time this happened, I thought I had a bad sensor. Since the car was still under warranty, I made the 20 mile (each way) trip out to the dealership. They reset the sensors but didn’t show me how they did it. This time around I was like “Let me check UA-cam first”. VIOLA- you appeared and saved the say! Much thanks.

On vacation in the mountains of Breckenridge Colorado & could get the light to come off after topping off air pressures.
Now, I know that if the light goes back on then I will have to go to a tire shop to see if there’s a nail in my tire.

It seems like Honda would like you to visit the dealership more often, my drives a crv, my Tacoma indicates which tire is low and resets automatically after filling tire 🤷🏽♂️

Thanks for the video. Good thing is that Honda didn’t install tire pressure sensors inside the wheels, its a passive system with zero maintenance and relies on wheel rotation/diameter rather than monitoring actual tire pressure.

Thank you Hondacarguy. I'm not sure if the spare is equipped with a tpms but a check of the spare pressure showed it was half the recommended pressure. However it did not reset the warning message. Recalibration did the trick.
Jay Yoshihara the spare tires on Honda’s do not have sensors but it’s always good to check it every once in a while
