  • An Air Force airman became suspicious when his daily coffee started tasting “foul” and set up hidden cameras to determine whether it was being tampered with. What he discovered would not only shock him but ultimately lead to the end of his marriage. His own wife, Melody Felicano Johnson, poured bleach into his coffee pot in alleged hopes of poisoning him. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie breaks down how Johnson got caught and where she is now.

her crime was done with malice, legally malice is a determining factor in deciding severity of punishments. so yeah 2 years for this is a not enough she'll not be incentivized to stop the behavior. it's a precursor to even worse behavior to come.

The end reporter said prosecutors wanted 2 years, assuming she made a plea deal it might be out of the judge's hands, I think. Big questions about how such sentences happen with clearly attempted murder cases and stuff, but maybe the dude himself didn't want to deal with a trial, I assume he's safely away from her in every sense, and now many people know not to trust her if she tries anything in the future.

Money changes people. When my mum died, my dad got custody of me to get my inheritance as my guardian. Luckily my mum had set up a trust that couldnt be touched until i was 21. He was so mad when he realised there was nothijg his lawyers could do. I used to get really sick a couple times per month and end up in hospital. Cps got involved and would question me about my dad, but i would lie because i didnt want the government getting custody of me. I ended up calling my executors of my will, got a ticket to australia, got emancipated and lived with crippling ptsd ever since 😃 😂

There is no way I could have held it that long. Slept in the house and bed with her. He has next level patience.

How is it different from murder for hire don't people get life for that?

It’s arguably more immoral to poison your husband continuously than to hire a hit man. Think of the harm he endured
