Bodycam footage captures the moment Austin police arrived at the home of OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney's parents to arrest them after they allegedly tampered with evidence related to the death of Clenney's boyfriend. Police suspected that Kim and Deborah Clenney had an old laptop that belonged to Christian Obumseli and had deleted information from the computer before handing it over to Clenney's legal team. The parents were shocked upon arrest but cooperated throughout the process. Courtney Clenney still faces trial for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death in 2022.

Why are the officers being so accommodating? The father is cussing at them. That's usually considered hostile. I think the cop, is brown nosing, why? They may as well go have a drink, while they are waiting, and a lobster tail. I heard the video of the father, laughing a devious laugh, when he cracked the password to Christians computer. I heard the lawyer advise him, to not go any farther with what he was doing. I'm assuming because it's illegal, and should be a felony, if it's for sinister reasons.

It’s because these are detectives. What they do is collect and gather evidence. They typically do not do arrests without municipal cops. That’s why you see them call the local cops to come make the arrests. They are gathering evidence and extraditing to another state for prosecution. If the process of this arrest led to a struggle of some sort they would end up having to arrest and place charges in their current state thus creating an issue where they would need to deal with multiple states and cases causing the main issue of arrest to go stale. These detectives don’t have jurisdiction to do anything besides basically be your friend because they have 0 authority to do anything outside of their jurisdiction.

For instance, they told this guy he can't use his phone.....folks that still use it, things end different.
If you are told you have a warrant and try to run, it ends different.
You know a warrant has to be signed off by a judge first, right?
Sometimes they have to knock on peoples door with warrants, and those people fire at them.
      They handle those situations differently.
Before asking why the police handled this differently, you must first ask yourself how the criminal acted when learning they have an arrest warrant.
