Nice video! I just watched because of a "cheddar is bad" debat at work. I live in the suburbs surrounding Chicago, ILLINOIS in America and Land o Lakes seems like the number 1 cheddar product around here. I'll add that I haven't seen "Tillamook" once in my 33 years of wandering, living, and vacationing in the States. But I liked the rest of your video 😊 lol cheeeeeeeeeeeese!!!! 🧀 😁

I might move to Oregon! The real cave aged Cheddar has a much nuttier flavour than the supermarket stuff imho.

For sure! Oregon seems like a dream state for cheese lovers. Great makers like Rogue Creamery, and some amazing small cheese shops like The Oregon Cheese Cave!

What is the cheddar’s colour? On the video it seems more like light yellow but I’ve seen some that are a bit more orange. I know that some are the “fake” processed cheese. Or are those the smoked ones?

The natural colour of Cheddar is light yellow. Those orange ones fall under 2 categories. Firstly, processed cheese (the fakes ones as you said). Secondly, you can also get real Cheddar where a natural orange dye called annatto has been added.

Awesome. Thanks for the explanation. I didn't know about this orange dye. Cheers! Or Cheese :)

@@misiekmisuek4421 most commonly used dye in cheese is an extract from a root called annatto.
