This unit which I rode was a replacement of a defective unit which I tried out in a previous video: • Riding to Times Square... . The replacement performed as it should have, and I think it's one of the best scooters you can get at this price point.

You're better off shelling a bit more for the better stuff like the Nami scooters

Gotrax throttle is too jerky. And it has tubed tires. And you can barely feel the suspension. Better off getting something like a segway g30lp for the price. Tubeless tires and it rides smoothly and no random issues requiring you to send it back. Honestly without the suspension, still feels better than the gotrax with. And GT customer service is abysmal.

Don’t you have to obey traffic regulations? You go through red lights etc. in Honolulu a pedestrian that crosses against a signal can get ticketed and fined.
Yes, I ran red lights. You’re supposed to obey the rules of the road but it is social norm on a micromobility vehicle to proceed if you do not obstruct traffic or put yourself or others in harm’s way. The police do not usually enforce red light violations against people riding micromobility vehicles. There were drivers in this video who drove passenger cars faster than the speed limit, and pedestrians ignoring traffic control devices too but I didn’t see them get cited.

I think you ran out of space from where you dismounted to step back far enough to show the entire scooter in the frame from 53:12 on through to the end of the video. That would have been the final "beauty shot". Something to consider for the next scooter review. 🛴 I bet the GoTrax folks are very happy with the result of the street test you gave their micromobility vehicle. That was enjoyable to experience in a vicarious way, as are all of your scooter videos! 💫
