1:38 Brother that is why you need at least a helmet. You never know what other riders or pedestrians will do. I ride with a full face helmet, knee/elbow pads, gloves and a "visibility" vest as my bare minimum. The bell is ok for bike riders and pedestrians but in NYC like you and I you need a horn too, for motorized vehicles. Keep up the great videos and ride safe.
That's a bit overkill especially when you're late to work to dismount quickly. I at the very least wear a helmet with head and tail lights and knee pads for quick changing and ease of carrying the gear. I would recommend wearing wrist guards and elbow guards in addition if one's day is well-planned, though.
Got a G Max Ultra a few days ago, fun little scooter. Actual speed is 18 and the actual range is more like 20 miles. Back tire went flat on mine, leaking around the valve stem. It's a tubeless tire so I tried to seal it but no luck. Just happened, not resolved yet. I love your vids, have been watching for a long time, you are the man!
I preferred his older Segway Ninebot Max G30 for reliability. I now have the Ninebot F2 Pro which has shock absorbers and much quicker speed than both his scooters.
Phew! Another action packed ride! AK, you navigate it wonderfully. It's the other people that make me nervous.😉 I love your scooter rides! 🛴🗽 P.S. Congratulations with your new scooter!
OOOOO, you've gone scooter! I have owned a scooter now for a year and a half and I take it everywhere I go on vacation. I put those videos on my channel for fun. Good to see the change!
Nice! Really short ride lol. i love the Gotraxx G4. i have 2 of them. i recently went on a ride from Astoria to Roosevelt Island, into greenpoint and than to Jackson Heights on my Nanrobot D4+ 2.0 with my dad who has a Nanrobot LS7+ 2.0 NG. im gonna miss the NYC riding videos, hopefully you come back soon. Ride safe.
By Gosh ! That new scooter is much more faster than the old one . I am glad all of the subscribers paying the bucks so you can get a better scooter . You should call that thing the subscribers scooter !
That was really enjoyable I am a native new Yorker but I've been living in Scotland for 30 years I really enjoyed that , in fact My new skooter is arriving tomorrow Thanks. TERRY
Great scooter AK! I'm trying to catch up on your videos, still a month behind! BTW, that bell looks the same as the one on my e-bike. You flick the lever down to ring it. Took me a few minutes to work that out at first
WOW NYC really gives some good bike lanes to ride and you can feel somewhat safe riding your bike to and from where you need to go unlike here where I live ugg!!! it may happen may 20 years from now
I remember when I went to the subway on 63rd and Lexington I didn't know that the subway went so deep two sets escalators....👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿 Ny best city in the world..
@@samuelitooooo Do it! Get one you won’t regret it. Every time you ride it it’ll put a smile on your face. And we need more riders out there and advocates. Have a great day
You upgraded! That's awesome! I thought you only tested the scooter, but you own it. May it give you only what you want in your rides and in longer livestreams to take you straight to destination without dying battery. I was thinking how cool of you to be so confident on this machine. Not anyone can do this in between traffic when any person, building, vehicle can steal your focus. I was also thinking you have nice hands :)) I can't ignore it. It's right there in front of my eyes. Bless you!
Nice ride and fast, be careful in that speed!! I’m amazed how Sweden and NY very much looks the same, well, besides those amazingly high buildings of course😃thanks for the speedride!🖐
@@ostbagar3, why won't you? Is it because of the CYA (Cover Your Ass) _in_ security theater mentality that's part of custome and immigration setups these days (and _if_ it's so, I understand.)
Awesome vid as always AK! I filmed walking across the 59th St. Bridge last week, man that pedestrian path is sketchy as hell! I literally had guys with gas powered scooters hauling ass right by me. I can't believe the city doesn't do a better job regulating that. Anyways, job well done on the video and keep up the amazing work!
I'm kinda afraid to ride in NY. I bought the Gmax ultra also. It's great! Looking to mod it with suspension for front and back. How much battery did you have left for this ride?
About 3 bars. The breaking is pretty bad once you first but it but you can easily adjust that. Very fun ride and yes you weren’t talking to me but I answered sooo
Acting kid I love this video because I’m in Astoria Queens..I have a question can people ride a mobility scooter on the 59th St bridge…thank you action kid❤❤❤❤
Good video, but maybe you could call out points of interest for those who live in other parts of the world. That would make your ride a helluva lot more value added. Thanks for the ride along.
Astoria has changed drastically & it's ok. Could you please tell us what blocks/Street's & Avenues your passing by. The roads have changed. It looks like fun & a very smooth ride. Is it a stand up 🛴 or a sit down 🛵? These are the new alternative routes for cleaner air & I'm all for that. I enjoyed the video. Great Going "Action Kid".
ActionKid dont lose your time testing e-scooters get the best one for your needs, DUALTRON SPIDER LIMITED V2, double suspension, huge 60V 24.5Ah LG battery, 3000 W Dual Motor, Weight 20.8 Kg, it is pricey but its way better than any other scooter while also being lightweight
Here is a Throttle tip for u guys that For some reason Gotrax never ever mentions 🤷🏻♂️ . The throttle only becomes active when the display changes from odometer to speedometer. So you don’t have to push the scooter faster or double pump the throttle, you only have to Waite two seconds after you push off, then the display will change from odometer to speedometer then hit the throttle and you are good to go. ………. You’re welcome : )
NYC must have great problems trying to combine today's various modes of transport on streets laid out in about 1810 for horse-drawn buggies. In fact, those problems appear unsolvable. Are your health-insurance premiums affected by your owning a scooter?
Hello Dear new friend I was really excited to see this video my dear friend You are excellent and professional Thanks for the great info along the way It was unique and wonderful and I must say you are the best, my dear friend

First thing I noticed about this scooter over your other one is a much smoother ride and the camera isn't being jostled around when you hit bumps.
I preferred his older Segway Ninebot Max G30 for reliability. I now have the Ninebot F2 Pro which has shock absorbers and much quicker speed than both his scooters.

Great scooter ride! Do you get to keep the scooter ? 🛴
Amazing!!
Awesome 😄😘❤
Thank you for sharing 👍
72 km per charge is a lot. Battery technology has improved so much for these little e-scooters.
Keep up man. 🙏👍
Hey AK! What's up? You got a new scooter, right!? It looks pretty different and the coolest than that!!!
The first half of the video that's in Astoria reminds me of certain parts of downtown and midtown Toronto.
Wow Astoria is home sweet home. I miss living there. Lived there 2 decades and still in Queens. Nice video. How are these scooters in light rain.
The ride looked good on it, but boy we're those brakes squeeeeeeaky. Thanks for the ride. 👍

Love video’s like this
Nice video....Would you prefer the GoTrax over the Ninebot Max? GoTrax has Regen braking?
They are both great scooters and I like them for different purposes.
hello actionkid. you are a very good driver !! but he wants attention on the road ..good luck
Hay Action Kid I heard that the City 🏙️ is closing one Manhattan bound Car lane to build a bike only lane.
Awesome AK.👍
That you ride so cute 🥰
20 mph speed is perfect for me so i dont get bored, maybe because I usually riding a bike 20 mph

You are excellent and professional
Thanks for the great info along the way

Did you get a new eScooter? It looks different from ones you’ve ridden on this channel before
So, can your scooter "coast" (i.e. not use power) on the downhill?
Look like 👍🏻 Fun
Can you do a e scooter review?
Can you still ride the scooter if the battery dies? Just as a normal foot scooter?
The first person to enter the intersection is the guy who gets hit.
Are you keeping or selling your old scooter
Speed Kid, Speed.
Is it the right side in New York?
Are you going Eco Mode on this Trip?
Bro you need a bull horn for some of these idiots popping up in front of you like that.
hy,is there a seat on this scooter
❤️❤️❤️
Man, you really zoom along (excitingly scary) when I put you on 1.5x speed, AK. 🙀💦
Great
You do know that you don’t have to hold the throttle. Cruze control activates automatically every 20 seconds.
Faster scooter = more dangerous scooter
