    I’d rather be true than ethereal. I don’t have the urge to be adored by the world. If one person sees me for who I truly am, it’s success enough and if they don’t, I’ll know I was authentic during my lifetime.

    • @evasofia07
      @evasofia07 4 місяці тому +7

      i agree. if everyone is imagining the rest of you, won't there be inevitable dissapointment and dissiliusionment when they actually find out who you are?

    • @DilnozaSpace
      @DilnozaSpace 4 місяці тому +15

      I think that question gets flipped when you realize you’re never done finding out who you are hence you in this moment is not really you but the momentary you that in a year could be someone completely different. So I don’t feel authenticity is something static. Hence it is something rather playful and even secretive to yourself if you’re able to let go of the old facets of “you” when the other “you” calls for it.

    • @evasofia07

      @@DilnozaSpace this is hopeful and beautiful. thank you; i have been stuck trying to define myself and push down past versions of myself. this is a refreshing perspective.

      @evasofia07 4 місяці тому +6

      @@DilnozaSpace but i have such a desire to be seen and understood. the people i value most see me and understand me but know i am not static. i don't think you have to hide yourself or your current self to allow your identity to be dynamic. you just have to find joy in surprising people with your changes, or letting them see past selves in your current self because they're still a part of you, and it only creates a deeper and more complex identity.
      i think i have had to hide aspects of myself to my family for too long to hide myself from others. i like being understood and known. human connection is vulnerable but beautiful.
      i think you can live with dynamic authenticity and share that authenticity with those around you. i don't want those around me to imagine the rest of me. i want them to know me in that moment.

    • @DilnozaSpace
      @DilnozaSpace 4 місяці тому +5

      @@evasofia07 i totally understand! I’ve had to fight to be seen in the past as well, especially to my family. However you have to realize that in order for you to “see” yourself, because this is honestly what it is all about, you learn to let go of the expectation that others even those closest to you can truly see you. Because it can be burdensome to also expect others to see you, the real you, if say you are in the process of redefining who you are. It can put almost a “heavy tape” on the process. So I think in some moments of course it is beautiful to connect and be yourself fully with people close to you, while in others you respect your own process of self so much that you don’t need to explain in attempt to reconnect to others.
      Hope it makes sense. You got this!

    If you and Erykah Badu ever had a conversation…it’s such a gift how you know the charm of seduction that less is more. As a male, I have trouble in accepting it as I believe it appears inauthentic but I am finding the utility in mystery.
    What’s people don’t know, they will make up to fill in the gaps. We can use this to our advantage to create a personal mythos about ourselves.
    I like that you are so clear about this because some people are good at this but cannot consciously communicate what they’re doing when they’re doing it but it’s intuitive to them. They can’t explain it but they understand when it’s happening.
    You seem to know a thing or two about it and teach it to others.
    It is a lost art. People need to relearn.

    This video has challenged and questioned the ways i share myslef with the world, truthly. However, i find indifference could prevent meaningfull and deep conection. How can we have mystique and secure and understanding relationships? Thank you!

    • @HeavenSentHoney
      @HeavenSentHoney  2 роки тому +15

      Of course. Indifference can be done lightly with setting boundaries or “laws” for yourself that no one should be able to break. Or you can be more extreme and kind of distance yourself from others heavily. You decide how far you want to take it really.

    • @HeavenSentHoney
      @HeavenSentHoney  3 роки тому +14

      There’s nothing wrong with that at all. Nothing is a one size fits all. When you start to work against yourself that’s the bummer. I have just found “that less is more” works. There’s a freedom in being open and happy and friendly that a lot of people can’t achieve, so good on you.

    What if you just look like a typical girl? I don't mean being ugly but I mean I give off "girl next door" vibes apparently. I'd be typecast as the person who's always there, familiar and easily understood, that people slowly find interesting ONLY after they've gotten bored of the hard to reach ethereals and show stoppers.
    I don't have an ethereal unusual look to me, so what do people like me do?
