Here are a few of the rituals I do that I recommend :) ~ Don't get out of bed immediately. Linger a bit, stretch, stare at the ceiling. ~ Oil yourself after showering. I recommend heating it prior. ~ Sleep naked. ~ Eat dessert or anything sweet for breakfast. ~ Offer your guests tea. ~ Don't immediately turn on your lights when it gets dark, let the room be dim for a while or light candles. ~ Sleep with the windows open, have the crickets sing you to sleep and the birds wake you from your slumber. ~ Go outside in the early morning. The air is different, fresher, bask in the morning mist.
Thank you, I love all of these ideas! 💗 My rituals are: ✨Opening my window and airing out my bed for about an hour every morning during the warmer months ✨Taking at least an hour or two to get ready every day. I like to play music and light a few candles, then take a shower (or bath if I have time), and moisturize my body. After that, I take my sweet time applying my makeup, styling my hair, and selecting my outfit for the day. ✨Taking myself on regular dates - to museums, art classes, lunch at a cute cafe, to a concert in the park, to the beach... ✨Shopping at the local farmer's market every Sunday. I like to buy fresh flowers, fruit, and a German rye bread made at a local bakery ✨Grounding by laying under an old oak tree at the park ✨Exfoliating and oiling my entire face and body at least once a week
When you actually dedicate yourself to this kind of rituals it makes you feel like a divine being, you don’t get lost in the world of others, you actually create your own world and reality by doing this. It’s a dedication to the self. Creating your own rules of life, it makes you feel otherworldly, or in other words Ethereal. And this is the reason this reminds me of the video « Become a God » from the How To Be Ethereal series that you did. Once again loved this video.
I would add - Give yourself a kiss every time you pass by a mirror - Write letters, to others and to yourself (even if you don’t send them) - Engage with art - Pray
I really like your point on reading poetry when waking up. I see rising from sleep and going to sleep as portals. When you go to sleep you descend into yourself (dreams and such) and when you wake up your body and mind is slower and youre more receptive. So I guess one of my rituals is going to and from sleep with as much awareness as possible, and not just coasting through if that makes sense.
Personal note. In my book it’s sinful activity to not remember your dreams, and I’ve had some dreamless nights the past few nights and I feel out of the loop. Rituals are so important to ground you!
There’s much wisdom to be gained in the respect and prioritization of sleep/the time surrounding it. I’ve made it a point to turn off the tv before bed and to keep a dream journal
My dreams are more often beautiful and meaningful when bedtime is a ritual…for me that involves tea, PJs, skin/hair care, stretching, spiritual text or art book, prayer, connection to soul.
One of the rituals I noticed has penetrated my life is the art of choosing outfit color pallete and style myself according to what makes me look best( it has nothing to do with the price or brand) I have a friend who describes it as theme Grandeur, alot of people told me that its amazing how I always look fashionable and stylish. colors and texture match perfectly, my styled outfits have specific themes that create stories, memories and ambiances. This ofc took me awhile to refine, what we do for the sake of beauty hahaha
YUM! What a beautiful reminder of how delicious life can be. Whenever I find myself feeling anxious and thinking of the future too much I bring myself back to the present moment and to sensuality. It really is the key to cultivating happiness for yourself. Happiness is an inside job and something you can create right now My favorites: -Sipping tea with my man on the porch in the evening -Opening the window when it's raining and falling asleep to the sound. Bonus points if it's windy and I can hear the windchimes -Marinating in the sun and allowing the heat to penetrate me until it feels like I'm melting You had a tip awhile back about buying objects that reflect light and indulging in the reflections it creates in the sun. I bought a disco ball and it brings me so much joy when I see the sparkles all over the walls
Things I do: - Oil my body post-shower and use a complimentary lotion on top (my favourite scent is rose) - Wear a lacy silk/satin nightgown around the house (no ugly, worn-out, bobbly PJs!) - Use a bidet (cleanliness means a great deal to me. Care for your genitals!) - Hand-write letters to a friend abroad (stickers, washi tape, newspaper cuttings, postcards are all included) - Go outside in the morning or at night - Sleep naked and masturbate regularly - Look at myself naked in the mirror - Bake scones/bread weekly - Eat dinner with candles on the table - Listen to classical music while I clean the house - Do arrowword puzzles/jigsaw puzzles etc. - Dance home alone - Learn about 3 wines and how to pair them, their history, their production etc.
Thank you for this video! You put my way of living into words, and reminded me that I need to engage in these rituals more. Here are some of my daily rituals: - figuring out whether or not I want green tea or an herbal tea in the morning, and then drinking it in silence. This allows me to check in on myself and plan my day accordingly. Being caffeinated when stressed is a terrible scenario for me, as is being low energy. - Scents!!! I can rant for hours about it but here's the short version. I coordinate my perfume with specific outfits, situations, and moods • spray rosewater on my face • refuse to put any scents I don't like on my body and in my house. Sometimes the world stinks and I need a hit of something nice to ground me. -using my special occasion things everyday! I try not to let beautiful and well-crafted items sit and collect dust. I'm currently trying to use a chawan (rice bowl) that my grandma gifted me, that I used in my childhood. It's such a precious item and it's terrifying to use it but in a way, my extreme caution is an exercise of veneration and deep appreciation. Well wishes!
One ritual that has been a game changer for me in multiple ways has been waking up, making my coffee, sitting outside, and reading a chapter or two of two to three books. I find that my mind is wide open in the morning, and the first thing that touches it can make or break my day - not every time, but often enough. To ensure my day starts off calm and positive, I read books. Right now, I'm reading 'Steal Like An Artist' by Austin Kleon for the second time, and I am in the ladder half of 'The Art of Living' by Bob Proctor. In between, every other day, I'll read a chapter from 'Stranger in a Strange Land' by Robert Heinlein. Other than that, a niche graphic novel also works. I've often caught shit for being a young man and not being a 'night person.' But I'm more interested in working toward getting up earlier than staying up later. I'd rather the sun shine longer than the moon in my average day-to-day.
Here’s one of mine: Worship the empty bed, any time you get to sleep in a bed alone, you touch true freedom and avoid the war of blanket tugging and the scorching hot skin of your lover. I pray they do not snore and sleep-fart
My main one is the coffee ritual. I recently bought a french press to try a more manual method after my automatic espresso machine broke, and boy that is calming. I grind the beans and use my best cups to drink it twice a day, no matter how busy I might be, everything else has to wait.
Another amazing video! I never get tired of your channel. You make me feel understood and I’m so glad I found your videos. Your way of living inspires me. They really help me get out creative ruts and start living my life more beautifully💓
Say hello to your favourite building rule reminded that I always say hello to a sculpture of a Madonna that I once discovered as teen. The sculpture is in the same public space and it feels like visiting a friend when passing there. It still feels very special, even it has been ten years since I saw the statue for the first time. Thank you for this video.
- I journal every morning, writing down all the epiphanies I had in my lucid dreams. - I keep extensive notes. - I always hang my laundry to air dry and I’ve been doing this for twenty years. Even when I had a family of eight! - Used to memorize two lines of poetry every day with my children. I want to start doing that again. - I play two fiddle songs per day.
In the time since finding you, my sense of Self has transformed indescribably...I'm on a new path, a true path. Also, does anyone have any suggestions for non-alcoholic liqueurs or cocktails? I want so much to follow these rituals but drinking alcohol unfortunately impacts my mental health.
I have a sodastream machine and I bought a bunch of flavored syrups to go with it. Italian soda syrups are great, and Torani in particular makes a lot of flavors that can be mixed and matched. There are other brands too (DaVinci and Jordan's Skinny Syrups off the top of my head), and you can also use fruit juices or whole fruits as well to add flavors. Play with it 😊
Cinchona is a delicious bitter herb/bark (sold as a syrup in bottle) to mix with soda water, of which many other ingredients taste great like fruit based syrups (homemade even better!). Coconut water on ice is delicious. Add pineapple juice for pina colada vibes. Add texture like soaked basil seeds (Asian supermarkets) or chia seeds. Get yourself a bottle of bitters like angostura (House of Angostura the best brand). Make an egg white froth to add to drinks and top with splashes of the bitters. Also I make large vats of herbal tea from loose leaf (stronger fresher brew and way cheaper) and then refrigerate and drink on ice in 70’s amber whisky glasses. Lemon balm, verveine, peppermint etc all easy to get hold of. Extra points if you grow it yourself 😊 or know an organic source to forage! Elderflower tea and a splash of apple juice, served chilled…& always serve in a beautiful vessel…
My version of pasta sauce is making chai or French onion soup. Really good chai needs to simmer and reduce for a while, so that it's a nice deep colour, and caramelizing onions can take a while, so you have to be patient in order to get a good flavour but by God is it worth it
I used to stick my middle finger up to a building I hated when i passed, bc i worked there and they treated me badly. 6 months ago i decided to stop giving them my energy. So maybe i will say hello to other buildings i actually like ❤
when you mentioned making your own pasta sauce it made me think of baking from scratch, its alot less daunting than its made out to be, and is a ritual of mine. especialy iif you alter the recipe you may find online or in a cook book to be more uniqe to your own tastes.
I love when you do these types of videos🩷 A ritual that I will be implementing along with the ones listed in the video will be dressing up and taking myself out for dessert on a set day every month.
I do most of these things at least sometimes. Even acknowledging my favorite buildings/ locations. I’ve always lived at my own pace and I have been given a hard time about it but I like the life I create. Don’t forget to make this list personal to you.
I really don't have too many recommendations as I am very much a beginner. The book by Camille Paglia I mentioned in the video is the best I can give really.
Wash your lingerie by hand!!! 📣 if you want a scent I would get those potpourri satchet/packs and you just place them in your drawer where you keep them

I’m the exact same with caffeine. So detrimental to my nervous system if I’m already stressed.

Old ppl are naturally sensual
Great video
I love this ❤
You are the High Priestess of Sensualism ❤❤
This is so Taurus Coded I love it
This is, hands down, the best channel on UA-cam. It feels tailor made.
Here’s one of mine: Worship the empty bed, any time you get to sleep in a bed alone, you touch true freedom and avoid the war of blanket tugging and the scorching hot skin of your lover. I pray they do not snore and sleep-fart
i have never seen anyone as cool as you and i’m not exaggerating. you genuinely are the coolest person i’ve ever come across

Can u do a wardrobe video, if u haven’t already. I love all of your tops but I never see the skirts/ pants and dresses u wear
you are a rare person, thank u for all
There’s a poetry app called Poesie if anyone else was inspired by the idea of starting your day with a poem:)
I used to stick my middle finger up to a building I hated when i passed, bc i worked there and they treated me badly. 6 months ago i decided to stop giving them my energy. So maybe i will say hello to other buildings i actually like ❤
Hi, a good thing I recommend you is to peel tomatoes when you are doing the salsa, It tastes so much better!

Why I love taking public transit and not drive. Flying trains, and buses are the best to get lost in the love of life
Ive been looking for a pasta sauce recipe for along. ❤❤

Would love if you could recommend here or make a video about your favorite poem books😊
I really don't have too many recommendations as I am very much a beginner. The book by Camille Paglia I mentioned in the video is the best I can give really.
What'd you think about spiritual erotic siren energy/beauty?
Becoming present
I like to set my table nicely before I eat.
thank you
Your so beautiful 🙌🔥🙌
i want to hug u
Are you a Taurus by any chance?
Are you Nordic by chance ?
Sensual
Wash your lingerie by hand!!! 📣 if you want a scent I would get those potpourri satchet/packs and you just place them in your drawer where you keep them
Crazy how the ideia of living life just for living and reaching your own happiness and pleasure seems so out of reason nowadays.....
