High quality review of grips I was wondering about. Im gonna try these after your good review.thanks👍
Thank you! i hope you like the grip William!
Great video man. What I was looking for in a video plus more!
Thank you Sean
I took your recommendation and bought a Pro-grip from Talon for my SIG P226. Thanks again 😎
hope you like it, Lance!
Great review of the grip tape bud. I see your local since you mentioned The Firing Pin. Keep up the good work bud.
Thank you Brent! I appreciate it, yes I'm local.
Perfect. Ordered one after watching, thank you for the vid
I'm glad I could help! Thanks for watching! Hope you subscribe.
Just ordered two rubberized for the Smith & Wesson Shield Plus. Great new pistol you should pick one up!
I've seen it. looks very promising.
The talon grip pro looks like some great grips I put rubber texture talon grips on my all black glock 43x I love the grip now
They are still going strong for me
Great video. Just what I wanted to know. Thank you
Happy to help
My Talon rubber grip lasted 5 years. I might try this pro grip
I think you will like them
I’ve used the granulate on my shield for 5 years. Never ruined any clothes or skin. The rubber is useless if you get sweaty hands.
you must not be wearing the finest of silk shirts lol jk.
@@TakeAimTV lol nope
I wear my G27 with Talon granulated right against my skin with no issues. It does wear a little but after 2 years still awesome. I've tried them all & Granulate is by far the best for me.
AGREED
This is a damn good video👏👏👏very informative..very simple & easy & str8 to the point...Damn🤯
Thank you I appreciate that! Hope you subscribe for more
New York State, as a O.T.R truck driver, this 1 of the few states I need to hide my gun in the sleeper b-4 entering. Awesome people who unfortunately are controlled by a large city!!! Excellent review I’m ordering some for my g30s due to you. I was worried it was going to look cheap. Thank you and keep up with the fight for your freedom in the Empire State!!
That's why I have never been to that large city. I appreciate the support!
Great job with the video. Audio, b roll. Close ups. Timing. Lighting. Instructions. Layout. Very good stuff.
Thank you Casey, I appreciate the feedback!
grip was installed wrong.
I'm a big fan of the Talon rubber grip tape. I use it on both my Walther PPS M2 and PPQ M1. They're perfect for here in CO since we're so dry. I didn't know they had this new type. Great review brother
Thank you I appreciate it.
Let me first start by saying your editing and production value is on point. Top notch stuff. I would've thought this was a channel with a million subs. You will get there. But now onto the grips....I love the one I have on my xds9 which is the rubber compound but I really like to try the pro. Its kinda weird it has redflakes in it tho. Just might look a little odd on my new Cz p07 I just bought being that it's od green and black. I can't decide on what one to get! You would choose the pro over the rubber again? Thanks for any advice
Thank you for the kind words. I'm using the pro on my shield still and on my new edc glock48. The flakes are not as noticeable as it was new so the texture does wear over time. It still works good. I think the rubber grip would out last the pro in terms of long term texture.
Great video, thanks 😊
thank you sir!!!
love it
Great Video. Good information
Thank you! More content coming
I have the granulate and pro. Neither are a problem carrying g concealed, and never damaged any of my clothing.
Same I have it on my edc and still good
Great review also to my fellow uscca members you can get a discount on talon grips !!
I'm a member but is there a code or something? I don't know how to get the discount.
Real Good Video . Good Job
Thank you Jaime!
Put one on my Glock 43, don’t have as much problem shooting to the left when drawing and shooting quickly.
I think it helps you feel how much your support hand is on the grip improving your form. Whatever helps!
does this fit the mp9c compact or is it to wide and needs to be specific?
i could try a houge grip for the glock 26 but it seems to be to bulky....
good video🤝🏾
check out their website they have grips for a wide selection of pistols. but yes they are custom to each pistol.
I used HYVE mag extensions on my old shield also. Have you looked into Magguts? That's what I use now on the 2.0 Performance Center Shield. It increases the mag count but the length is not as long.
no i have not but that sounds interesting. Have you had any performance issues with the mag guts? Ill have to check it out
@@TakeAimTV no issues at all.
@@calt2386 good to hear we will check it out
Yeah check it out. Magguts are legit!
I love the Pro, but the fact that it seems to be made with random color rubber pieces, makes it look a little goofy (it’s basically a rubber version of griptape or sandpaper, with little rubber pieces adhered to a base). It looks rainbow colored, at least mine does. It works very well though.
Absolutely. The texture felt good to me but the confetti look turned me off. Might be a stupid reason but if they come out with it in pure black, I'll probably give it a go.
Pro tip next time leave a little flap open on the first part of the grip so you can tuck it under when you wrap it all the way around instead of putting it on top. Looks much better and will last longer
Yeah, I noticed that after I was done. Face+Palm
Yeah, good point
Good video
thank you frank
Man I really need to get that light on my shield too
It gets the job done. Not the brightest but beats nothing
@@TakeAimTV May I ask where did you get light/laser Sir?
@@JD-jq9pm it's a streamlight tlr6
I need that!! Lol but own the shield too luv the gun just needs a wrap !! They have improved I’ve also have the M20 in 40 and 9 mm grips are a big improvement over the original version...
absolutely the 2.0 shield has a far nice grip
I have the subcompact. I'm jealous. I can't find a titanium nitride barrel like that for the life of me. The only option I can find is to send my original barrel to be coated.
That barrel is from true precision
@@TakeAimTV
Thanks man. Much appreciated
These grips are the best. I have to pro grip, the texture is great, and long lasting. Anyone can install, just follow the instructions. Thank you
that's for sure!
You think the pro grip will be good for girl hands? My hands are soft but when I go shooting they sweat and I lose some of the grip with my rubber talon.
@@esavanessa it may feel rough at first but i think it be worth it in order to get a secure grip.
I use the full grip tape one on my edc. No issues.
Nice, glad it works for you!
👍 and sub from a fellow New Yorker!
Thank you Dennis!!!
How do you start off from the right side and still manage to goof up and not tuck it in?
My bad
Where can I buy a pro talon for my block 43
talongungrips.com/
THESE GRIPS ARE KICK ASS THE SHIT . GET SOME.
I like your energy lol
Buy American always. Buy local. Support the mom n pop shops 🤘🏼
What holster are you using?
Im currently using the vedder light tuck IWB ua-cam.com/video/ZNDdsb6ECXk/v-deo.html
and for OWB I use the On your 6 designs ua-cam.com/video/5qw0wCMpE5Y/v-deo.html
Can I remove the grip🤔 good video
yes if you don't like it or want to change something you can remove it later with no damage to your pistol. they have videos on their website for that
@@TakeAimTV thanks
you installed it wrong the longer excess end goes UNDER the left side of the grip. 2:23 It can start to peel off earlier if done wrong. it's in the instructions.
Still holding strong and this gun gets a lot of reps
@@TakeAimTV How is the grip after some longer time? I heard it lasts about 3 months at most, then the grit will start to peel off.
@@martinsipos4874 So i have the same tape on my glock 48 some of the texture has worn down in the spots that get the most attention but the sticky part has not peeled or anything. for the price I still think its worth it. not made for 2 years of daily use
So is this better than the rubber talon?
I like it better. But if u want more smooth the gritty then go with rubber
Take Aim TV Hey thanks for the reply!! UA-cam didn’t notify me that u had replied. So , wanted to update u. I went with the rubber grips for my 43X and my hk vp9 and my Walther pps m2. After some range time, im feeling like the rubber, although better than nothing, is just a little to slick feeling for me. I just ordered the pro talon grips and came back to watch your video again. I feel like I will like these more. I wish I would’ve seen your reply before I ordered the rubber grips. But oh well. Thank u for the this great review.
@Rü Bən I love it. It really is the best of both worlds.
@Rü Bən it is more on the sand paper side feel than the rubber feel though if that helps u any
Im sure it's functional but it looks like a roof shingle
great! now that cant be unseen. But if it works for my house then it can work for my grip lol
Who hates the grip texture on their pistol?
My HK45CT. It doesn’t actually go anywhere with my grip but in the back of my mind I want more grip on the grip. Lol. I’ll probably try this and if I don’t like it I’ll probably try and have it stippled on the front and back strap within the textured lines.
Take Aim TV not me, I’ve got a springfield hellcat :)
Glock 43 owner with sweaty hands here...
@@chaddiusthewise527 as a fellow sweaty hand owner this makes a big difference. I just purchased a glock 48 and put the same talon grips on it.

High elbow well help that draw
The more you use pro grip the softer it gets
Yeah I like how it feels broken in
How's it feel now? I just got my Pro grip today and it feels a lot rougher than I expected (coming from the Rubber grip)
@@TakeAimTV How's it feel now? I just got my Pro grip today and it feels a lot rougher than I expected (coming from the Rubber grip)
@@alextee7853 It has softened up but is still holding.
Or just buy some grip tape and DIY
That is another option. but for those not as talented and want a clean look this I think would be a easier option
🖐ITS CALLED “GRIP TAPE”🤚 😓
Like the feel of the pro grip. Not a fan of the "alphabet people" color.
Grown man afraid of colors lol
