So glad there are a bunch of other videos out there showing how to do this. Could only do 2 minutes with the damn guitar.
My left ear really appreciated these instructions.
Couldn't watch this with all the loud music making it impossible to hear any information...I'll have to find another video.
Can't hear anything over music
Hey, anybody remember those tests in school where they told you to read the whole thing first and then when you get to the last line it says "don't do any questions". A lesson in following directions if you will. And how we thought we would never need it? Yeah I don't own a blow dryer but I already peeled it.
For anyone who comes to this problem in the future, I suggest applying the tape as firm as possible and simple going and buying a cheap blowdryer as they’re fairly inexpensive for a smaller one and come in handy from time to time
You can always put it in the microwave.

Excellent vid on showing how to do this,,,but. The audio was crappy enough but why did you include that noise in the background making it even harder to follow your instructions? Why?

On future videos I would recommend doing away with the music.
Thank you for the video. It made this super easy. I think we all forget how grateful we should be for this free knowledge. That being said, if there’s a hell, I’m probably going there, and I expect to hear the background song…on repeat.

The video looks good, however, I can’t hear the person who is installing the Talon grips because the music is so loud. It sounds like Talon grips is trying to sell music instead of their grips.
Waiting for may first pair of Talon grips for my G43X. Now, if this is Talon Grips official UA-cam Channel...please consider redoing the vid & scrap the silly music so we can all hear the instructions.

I want to get some grips for my PPQ but we don't have a head dryer nor heat gun neither besides I am one handed from a stroke. I'm glad I could mess up and still be okay.

Well I didn't tuck under since I'm a dummy who can't read but honestly I think it's better that way, when gripping the pistol I'm putting pressure the direction of the fold instead of against it
Anybody know if a blow dryer would be hot enough for this
A blow dryer is plenty warm. More people are likely to mess it up with a heat gun. Just like he said. A warm cup of coffee.
I like the part where he flips over that flap then does that thing with the other side when it tucks under but didn't slip when the heat shrunk the other part.
I ordered Talon Grips through Amazon, and my package never showed up even though Amazon said it did. Talon Grips reached out to ME, and then they sent another one without even asking me a question!! I'm not buying my grips from anybody else! I couldn't believe it. That kind of service is hard to find!

If you can read this, please make a line of fake wood colored tapes with the back portion black and two black fake screw holes on the sides so this can make my single stack .45 glock look like a parkerized pocket 1911 with foakwood grips, fosewood grips, nohoganywood grips, or purrrl white grips. (Its your job to come up with better names though haha). If glock ever makes a 1911 sized single stack .45, for example a Glock 54 is 45acp and glock 55 is a 45 gap, and they use those silver looking slides with silver gray polymer frames, those feaux wood/stainless steel talon tapes would sell well to glock owners who are 1911 enthusiasts.

The rubber grip is terrible, took it off soon as I put it on. Actually made it more slippery. The sandpaper grip is the only thing they have that's worth any money

This looks like a massive PITA. Curving something flat and rigid over something round. How do you avoid bubbles and ripples and ugly creasing?

Can you still use an enhanced magwell with these grips installed?
You'd have to remove the magwell to install the grip tape then reinstall, but it shouldn't be a problem with a magwell.

1. Standard half square sights
2. Glock night sights (they glow for 15 mins after being charged with daylight) comes with glock 19x always.
