Thank you. Times are strange indeed. Honestly I think that is why I sat down and did the video. I have been overwhelmed with the news and the environment and I just needed to talk about something other than police brutality.
If I had to pick a go to war grip would be granulate all day, but they absolutely tore up the arms on my uniform from all the friction. I have rubber for off duty, they’re okay but not great. I just bought a new blaster and I’m going to try the Pro’s. I’m hoping it’s a good compromise.

Thanks for the video. I have the rubber ones on my carry gun. Excited to try these on my duty gun. I was going to get the granulated ones for my carry gun when i bought my duty ones, but now i have to wait to see how these PROs are due to your video.

I'm the same age as you and I know exactly what you mean about it reminding you of something in grade school. It reminds me of the old CVT floor tiles in grade schools. That old off white tile with speckles of red, blue, green, brown, etc.
I've had the pro grips on my gun for several months now. Admittedly I've been putting it through it's paces running drills but I'm surprised with how much of the material is coming off. Think I'll be going back to the rubber soon.
I've used the sandpaper like Talon grips on a Glock 26 and a Kahr PM9 and felt it was an improvement of the unmoded grip. The grip. after a bunch of years, needed/needs to be replaced on my PM9 so I've ordered the PRO texture. I think I just might be happier with the PRO texture over the sandpaper grips. Tried the Talon rubber grips once but did not care for them.
I know what you mean im a 80's kid aswell. That material is similar to the grip tape you'd see on school bus steps or stairs at school. Thats what it reminded me of at least. God bless be safe out there.

They have held up well, but i just don't get enough grip. Do you think the granular is too much or should i try the pro? Also thank you for your service. Thanks! I would give the PRO a shot first. The granulate texture is pretty much sandpaper. Positive grip but for a ccw it will grab at your clothes and skin more aggressively. I’ve found the PRO to be very comfortable so far. These are indeed crazy times. Just got to keep on keeping on.
Just put Talon Pro on my 19. Love em. I do however wish there was no color in the grip texture. Are the small flecks on the mat part of the texture rubbing off? Its been a while since this was posted how well did they hold up?
Just got my pro grip today. Coming from the rubber grip, I was still surprised how much rougher than expected it is. Have you found it to soften up and be more comfortable over time / with use?
Talon grips not only give you a better purchase on the handgun they protect the polymer underneath & they're very economical. I prefer the granulated however you might need a undershirt . God Bless.
Some of the texture has worn off on the right side at the finger groove portion. It’s still very grippy and functional. I suspect it’s wear my seatbelt is rubbing on it. Patrol problems. Your mileage may vary. On the other side, it still looks new.

Just installed the rubberized type Talon grip tape on my P365 and have the Talon's on all my other gun grips. I also used them on my duty weapons even before they were commerically made. Just used to custom cut the skateboard tape. Off topic from retired LEO :) ...what brand multi tool is that? #bluelivesmatter

The only thing after carrying it while 10-8 is that I wish the color was a solid black. I know that’s not important but you know, cool factor!
I have a set of both the original granulate an PRO versions for my Canik SC, an my H&K P30. They work extremely well for me.

It reminds me of those rolls of foam that they used in insulation and all kinds of packaging. It was chopped up foam made into sheets

Oddly enough it does soften up with use. Some of the granulate is actually coming off.

It’s a Leatherman Wave. The pocket clip on it makes it very comfortable for edc.
