I was doing so well, in one year, I lost 100 lbs, then recently, I had a loss of a friend and I got another year older and trying to mentally take all of it in, I quit exercising. I stuck to keto and low carb, but I was constantly eating!!! I gained 10 lbs in 1-1/2 weeks. I am back on track again, limiting the amount of food I consume and back to exercising! Watching your video made me realize, I am not a failure, I just got turned around for a moment. Can't be too hard on ourselves, my main goal was to get healthy and get rid of some of the medical conditions I was dealing with for years.

When you're really close to your "goal" the weight seems to come down slower. I use the scale as a suggestion and am not caught up in the numbers. As long as my clothes fit better, I feel better AND my bloodwork is good I'm a happy camper. Love your content. I feel like you're a neighbor. Would like to see more with Natii working with you. She's getting to be quite a fantastic young lady.
I lost 10 lbs in the last two months by cutting sugar, I still have fruit and creamer in my coffee once a day, but no candy, soda or sweet snacks and watching carbs intake. What I think is also helping is fasting for 15 to 16 hrs. My last meal is at 6pm. It has improved my chronic pain. I know I need to improve my meals to be lower in carbs but I am gradually doing it to avoid binging. This channel is a good resource to good eating habits.
I was 180 when i got married. I would love to get back to at least that. Ive lost 14 pounds so yay!!

Let us face it, most people eat too much junk foods. I am 77 and 6 feet tall. I am around 200 pounds. For most of my life i stayed around 175 to 180 but i was active. My legs are paralyzed and not active now. I am a guy who is low carb but diabetic also. An old saying "you are what you eat". I enjoy your site.

I just ordered my scale! I just had my hip replaced due to a workout injury back in the summer of 2022. I have not been able to workout. I have already taken of the weight I gained. Now, I am reading to take off the final 40lbs and build muscle. This scale and app are going to give the precision I enjoy! Let's go!

I agree that maintenance can be more difficult than losing. I have been on maintenance since about 1980 give or take. I am 69 years old now. I am below my goal, 123 lb from yesterday's WW weigh in. My lowest was 112 but my daughter said that I looked sick. So, my weight now is fine. The way that I keep it this way is with healthy but not obsessive eating patterns, I prefer whole foods mostly. I love to walk and hike which is easy to do where I live in the mountains. And I do not focus all day on my food. I enjoy life, if there is something that I want to enjoy food wise, I do, mindfully. That is how I have been able to keep my weight consistent for over 40 years. I wouldn't have it any other way. BTW, you have always been such a cutie pie! Your size looks perfect if it is for you. I went from 219pds ti 153. I'm 5.3. I had back surgery right after starting your wat of eating & my walks. When I git back up on my feet I git back to your videis & slowly back to walking thats been a year ago, 2 in April. Also when my life changed to start taking care of my love one, lot of hard work . But I'm getting it together, don't want to gain that weight back. Thinking of trying water aerobics also. But again thank you Myra

You are so right. It's best not to stress. I had once lost quite a bit of weight but every day for lunch I had been going to a nearby burger stand and eating a burger and fries. Then I started packing my own lunch and walking to and from the park to eat my lunch.
I didn't mean to lose weight but people started to notice I was slimmer. I weighed and I had lost 25 lbs. And I really didn't mean to.

I was just in the hospital I had major surgery I had an ovary removed and I had a D&C and they took a four polyps out of me and I was in the hospital eating hospital food plus all the stuff that they stuck in my belly and everything and I went up 5 lb but as soon as I got home and I started going back on track I'm back down to my pre-surgery weight so praise God for that

I lost 120 lbs almost 9 years ago w/VSG. I HAVE to eat Keto or Carnivore to maintain. I’m 64, have no thyroid and gain super easily if not vigilant. As a retired Sexual Assault Counselor nothing scares me more than getting on a scale! In late August I started a Carnivore cut after regain and the weight came off sooo slow. I stated to walk 5 mls a day in an hour but still slow. Last week I did an 8 day eggs fast and dropped 9 lbs. 31 lbs down total & my goal is in my view.

For us in the U.K. that’s about 13st. You look slim, strong, healthy and beautiful, with great proportions, a real inspiration 💕 I think bone density has an affect on weight too, good strong healthy bones weigh more than aged malnourished ones. Being bird like and frail is not healthy long term, and something that would come back to bite us as we get older. I’d love to see you do a collaboration video with a bone density expert.

Thank you for explaining the numbers on the scale. In 2017 I started my journey and also tracked my weight with a scale similar to yours. I was 53 years old. I was very lean and looked great. Fast forward to today, I'm 60 and when I look in the mirror I don't see that same toned body like when I was 53, even though I still workout/eat kind of the same. My weight on the scale is lower than when I was 53 but I did a comparison on muscle mass and body fat and back then I was 3% higher in Muscle and 0.5% lower on BF. The numbers are not that significant but I sure can notice the difference in the mirror.
Still looking fabulous. I'm glad you explained muscle weight vs. fat weight to the folks. I really don't worry about fat unless my pants sizr gets larger - lol. Great job.

YOU LOOK GREAT! Don't care about the scale or how much you weigh of course. I am 10 years size 36 or 38 when I go many times on holidays. Then I do more keto untill I fit my clothes like i like it again. I try most of the time to not worry about it, is more healthy and makes my whole day and everything I eat more relaxed. You look A-MAZING! High fiber + high protein is paramount for weight loss!!!!! AND getting enough sleep, soooo important. Weighing in once a month FIRST thing after getting up in the morning & after using the bathroom & before any water/food & with no clothes on is a healthy weigh in regimine.
I added 5 pounds in the last three months but I found myself eating all of these so-called "keto" friendly breads and tortillas and found that net carbs just wasn't working for me. So now I am just doing total carb count instead of net carbs and now I feel more energized, and losing that weight again and overall feel better and no more bloating.
It’s hard when you do a lot of cooking and you have to taste it. I used to do that for my church. I did all the cooking setting up breaking it and everything and I cook things. I did not need to be eating yet. I fixed it for them so as I was cooking it, I was tasting it and then I ended up eating it and I put on a lot of weight and that’s what I’m doing now trying to take it off one day at a time.
