If you want a incredible song by Lindsey...look up "Go Insane" the best live version I have seen is uploaded by Lindsey Buckingham Gems on January 28, 2009. His guitar playing in this is really fantastic. You'll love it ❤❤

Lindsey Buckingham on lead guitar, Mick Fleetwood on drums, John McVie on bass, Stevie Nicks, blond girl lead singer, and Christine McVie on piano! Sadly, she just passed away this year 😞
The stories behind this band are glorious and heart wrenching and they didn’t hide from it! They included it in their music! Simply Shakespearean and worth a bit of research if you have the time…thank you for sharing it and your reaction to it with us.🙏
Have always agreed with the proponderance of opinions that Lyndsey Buckingham is definitely an underated guitar player. Mic Fleetwood and Lyndsey just knocked it out of the park....... fabulous piece! Great reaction, TY. I love me some FWM! How can you not.
Lindsey is such an underrated guitarist, AND the dude doesn't even use a pick. Not to mention the rest of the group, Mick Fleetwood on drums and John Mcvie on bass are tight tight TIGHT!
Great pick for a first song from Fleetwood Mac to review! With this one as the start, you will gain a great appreciation of the whole band as you review their other iconic songs. There are numerous others such and Landslide and The Chain that are excellent.
No need for the studio version, this one's much better. Next? Anything from this concert, 1997, 20 yrs after the originals and Fleetwood doesn't get much better than this.
Founded in 1967 by Blues Guitarist Peter Green RIP also Drummer Mick Fleetwood and Base Guitar Player John McVie. Peter Green was no doubt the leader and Writer but he left in 71. They where then joined by Christine Prefect Keyboards who married John McVie ( since divorced) she also wrote and sang. These where all English. In 73 they where two Americans ( they came as a couple Lindsey Buckingham Guitarist and Stevie Nicks Singer/ Songwriter Stevie is prolific Songwriter and she is usually the Lead Singer and her on/off affair with Buckingham has led to some of their best and most iconic tracks. The album Rumours is solid Platinum through and through. Sadly Christine McVie died aged 79 yrs November 2022 she was a very yet very talented individual! RIP Christine McVie 😢
5* plus Song. Everytime I hear it I wanna turn up the volume more and more and then I recognize I am on 100 percent already. For me personal the solo tells the story of an ambivalent soul who feels lonely and torn, who longs for warmth and love but cannot allow it because it thinks it doesn't deserve it. Lindsey is an incredible powerful player. His sound is unique because he also plays his electric guitars with his fingers wich adds a nice pop-click on the notes. His guitar is a Rick Turner Model 1 - one of the most versatile guitars I have ever ever seen. Made of mahaghoni, equipped with a handmade humbucker mounted on a rotating plate to find the sweet spot for ever player according to the strings. The humbucker can be splitted into a single coil and the piezo bridge can be blended with the humbucker to generate an "electric-acoustic" style . Not enough though.. the 18V pre-amp allows with its state variable filter to enhance or reduce dialed in frequencies to punch or reduce the sound. You can clearly hear this powerful beast when he plays the verse. A tiger in a cage. And last "fun fact": Lindsey only uses his guitar, a BOSS SD-1 and a BOSS DD-7 in front of his Mesa Boogie Rectifier to produce this huge huge sound. God bless him.
I love this performance. Lindsay Buckingham is brilliant. Big Love from this same concert is mind boggling. He also shines on the song Never Going Back Again
If you like this, you should look at Lindsey's live performance of "Big Love" from this same concert, wherein all the other band members leave the stage, and Buckingham enthralled that same crowd with just his voice and AN ACOUSTIC GUITAR! 😲
I was actually thinking about you reacting to Fleetwood Mac yesterday. Can' t wait to see you go thru their catalog. One of the best groups of all time. The 70's had amazing musicians that made incredible music.
@@cyndeetaylor 8-tracks, now that takes me back. Rumours is one of the best albums of all time. Fleetwood Mac was just as good as ever when they reunited for their second dance decades later. What is great is they have a lot of live performance footage to be reviewed. That is imho what separates Polo from the rest, he genuinely appreciates musicians performing live.
There’s no one like Lindsey - just a brilliant guitarist. Saw him do Big Love live in concert and he was literally sweating the music out of his pores. He was soaked in sweat head to toe by the end of the song - simply amazing performer.
I can only say these people are Epic!!!! Each one is as talented as the next. Please react to any of their songs, you will never be sorry to go into that rabbit hole. ❤❤❤
@@robertcain9682 This song is a recent song of one they released in the 70's but the album I bought when I was around 13 or 14 was the 1968 entitled just Fleetwood Mac. I remember discovering it was not the one I wanted. Record stores were intimidating to me at that age. I had to save up to get Future Games 1971 with the song Woman of a 1000 years. I was obsessed with that song.
Lindsay is a fantastic guitar player. There is a live version they peformed in an outdoor stadium concert from the 70’s… just phenomenal! my favorite song from this iteration of the band!
Polo, you have just witnessed one of the best guitar pickers to ever play the instrument. Mr. Lindsay Buckingham. PLEASE watch him do BIG LOVE. Makes this solo look easy. Great reaction! I already bought you one cup, just got laid off so give a low on dough friend a break.
I've been watching these guys for 45 years and when you said the word chills the chills that went through my body were Insane ! Lindsey knows his craft !
Here's a point of view that I try to adhere to. There are many great guitar players & would not disagree from anyones point that one is better than the other. However one is only better than the other when you're listing to them at that moment in time. When players give you their all on stage, you know it, you see it, you feel it, are awed by it, and are just grateful that you where there!
one of my all time favorite guitar solo's if not The Favorite of mine, Lindsey Kills that shit! i saw them live back in 2003 here in nashville and he did that exact solo! i have been a metal head since the late 80's and Linsdey is up there at top guitarist.
Lindsey Buckingham has always been one of my favorite guitarists. I'm sure you noticed he finger picks which I believe gives him the ability to sound unique. Love all Fleetwood Mac music you MUST react to Stevie Nicks lead vocals, she is one of the greatest female singers in history. Gypsy, Rhiannon, Landslide, Dreams.
Fleetwood Mac will Never be the same band again, without Lindsey Buckingham on Guitar and vocals. Or minus Christine McVie, either. They were the heart and soul of the band.
I second the recommendation to review The Chain, from the same concert. It’s killer. Lindsay Buckingham is one of only a few finger style electric guitar players. Also he plays a Turner Model 1 guitar, the only guitarist I know of who does. Aside from The Chain, find a live version of Big Love, great song but watch for Lindsay’s guitar work. It’s pretty amazing.
Oh wow, yeah.. Fleetwood Mac has a long history. The first three albums (1968-1969), are with lead guitar and vocalist Peter Green. A second guitarist and vocalist Danny Kirwin joins for the band's second studio album and he remains for four total. Founding member Peter Green leaves the band after the third album. Then an album w/o Green: "Kiln House" (1970). Then five albums with new lead guitarist and vocalist Bob Welch from 1971-1974. Then Welch is out and Buckingham/Nicks join the band on December 31st, 1974 and the rest is history. Oh, and Christine McVie, née Perfect, (RIP), was in the band from the second album onward, but was not credited until "Future Games" (1971).
Kind of a back entrance into the Fleetwood Mac Catalogue… but an excellent one, nonetheless! Yes, thank you to the supporter that got Polo started and YES… DO continue down this delightful rabbit hole!!!!😀💜👍
Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Fleetwood Mac. They gelled as a band during a time they were dating each other, or married to each other - and breaking up. This is my favorite Fleetwood Mac song, but there is SO MUCH MORE for you to explore. Have fun.
You should watch Fleetwood Mac's "Rhiannon" Live on the Midnight Special 1976 so you can see the gorgeous Stevie Nicks cut loose on the vocals. On vocals, they have Lindsey you saw here, Stevie Nicks, and Christine McVie, who passed away last November. Watch her do "Songbird" live. It's just her and the piano. She wrote it for her ex-husband, John McVie, who's the quiet but excellent bass player in this band.
You HAVE to check out "Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac" (The ORIGINAL group members) Peter Green one of the GREATEST Blues guitarists and singera of ALL TIME! (AS per BB.KING and Many other greats!) Honestly check out Peter Green/Peter Geeen Fleetwood Mac.. 👌🎸😎🏴🇬🇧
Thank you for starting your journey into FM with this song!! The best guitarist…ever. He only joined the band on the condition they took his girlfriend, too. Yeah that was Stevie. He brought FM to the main stream. God bless Lindsey
Fleetwood Mac was a band built around the rhythm section: Mick Fleetwood on drums and John McVie ("Mac") on bass. Over the years the rest of the band was always evolving/revolving. Most success came with Stevie Nicks singing lead (late 70s).
Fleetwood Mac is one of my personal favorites. They have a huge catalog of great songs. The rabbit hole is deep with this band! You should watch Lindsey Buckingham play “Big Love”, it will blow your mind! The entire “The Dance” album is live..
IMO Fleetwood Mac performed at their peak in this "The Dance" concert. I doubt there is a "studio" version that could top this live one by Mick and Lindsey. Also from this concert see Stevie Nicks singing daggers at Lindsey over their past relationship in "Silver Springs". Then watch them paired beautifully together on "Landslide".
One of their most famous tracks is “Dreams”. And the studio version is truly a mesmerizing perfectly produced song. You should check out that one next.
Hey Big man, it's English Billy, about time someone reacted to this amazing piece of music, great reaction by the way, I first heard this in about early 80s from another live Fleetwood mac show and loved it ever since, I've seen nearly all the worlds best guitarist, Jimmy page, Eric Clapton, Brian May, Peter Green, Alvin Lee, can't forget 😅😅😅my all time favourite the late great Rory Gallagher, but this guy Lindsy Buckingham is right up there with the very best, I guess you noticed he plays finger picking style, and his guitar is I think costume built cos I've never seen one the same, anyway big man you take care, keep up the great work, English Billy.
Lindsey also does a gnarly solo in their song "Come". He's so incredibly underrated. BUT, Stevie is the main attraction, really. "Rhiannon" live on Midnight Special is definitely next on the list.

Riannon live 1976 from the Old Grey Whistle. A must. Stevie Nicks , what a woman. Beautifully Mysterious. And yes Lindsey can throw down.
I've been watching these guys for 45 years and when you said the word chills the chills that went through my body were Insane ! Lindsey knows his craft !
Lindsey is very underrated when it comes to being a great guitarist much the same as Prince but definitely among the best
The whole Dance 97 gig is à masterpiece
Watch the live Boston concert he blows you away when he plays solo you can see it literally takes him over
Here's a point of view that I try to adhere to.
There are many great guitar players & would not disagree from anyones point that one is better than the other.
However one is only better than the other when you're listing to them at that moment in time.
When players give you their all on stage, you know it, you see it, you feel it, are awed by it, and are just grateful that you where there!
You need to listen to "The Chain" by them. Absolutely one of their best songs ever!!
So, so.....sooooo much Fleetwood Mac to explore, going back to 1968!
That simply has to be one of the greatest guitar solos ever.
Gotta watch the whole "The Dance" concert. The band at their best, amazing live versions of terrific songs.
one of my all time favorite guitar solo's if not The Favorite of mine, Lindsey Kills that shit! i saw them live back in 2003 here in nashville and he did that exact solo! i have been a metal head since the late 80's and Linsdey is up there at top guitarist.
LEGENDS. One of my all time favorite bands ❤
The way Lindsey strums his guitar like a banjo with no pick has always amazed me!
My favorite band. Seen them in 1978 and just again 2019
He & Stevie had such great harmony…
RIP Christine McVie 😢💙💙
Later & often slept on classics by them,, Fleetwood Mac "Peacekeeper" & "Thrown Down"
More Fleetwood Mac please 🎶✌️🎸
a few years ago I saw Buckingham on his solo tour, that dude is Intense! He really put on an amazing show...Great react!
Lindsey Buckingham's solo efforts in the 2000's are really good! Saw him solo in Toronto---fantastic!!
Solo Lindsey is Ah-mazing!
First heard Fleetwood back in early 70's. They were playing at the college where I was attending.
Fleetwood Mac will Never be the same band again, without Lindsey Buckingham on Guitar and vocals. Or minus Christine McVie, either. They were the heart and soul of the band.
I love your music community on this channel. These folks have great taste in music as apposed to a lot of other reaction channels out there
I second the recommendation to review The Chain, from the same concert.
Just luv them, still enjoy their music
Yeah the early blues stuff was amazing, Polo should check out "Oh Well"
Kind of a back entrance into the Fleetwood Mac Catalogue… but an excellent one, nonetheless!
Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My favorite all time band.
My all time favorite band. Hands down. They are such a group of pure talent. Stevie is my forever Queen ❤
EPIC !! Incredible guitar and drums. Love it! They are all masters of their craft. You gotta check out songs when Stevie Nicks sings too!!
As a old hippie 😂❤ Love & Joy watching you watch 😊
Thank you for starting your journey into FM with this song!! The best guitarist…ever. He only joined the band on the condition they took his girlfriend, too. Yeah that was Stevie. He brought FM to the main stream. God bless Lindsey
he is damn good but not the best ever... that nod goes to David Gilmour.......
@@blwilson1000agree to disagree?
Fleetwood Mac has been a love of mine since childhood. They can vacillate between up beat pop hits to melancholic somber songs with ease
I know Fleetwood Mac from the old Rumors days I did not know they has such great modern music, thanks for sharing
That song is from before the Rumours album.
This song was the most played song on radio and television in the twentieth century.
Love this song❤
I grew up loving Fleetwood Mac, got to see them in concert overseas in the late 80s, it was awesome
Thanks for getting to this one!! Love your reactions 🙂
More Fleetwood Mac please! They are VERY versatile. LOTS of great stuff!
Lindsay Buckingham is SO underrated on guitar.
For sure, Dreams. We wore out the record, then the 8-trax.
Yes! "Dreams" next!
LOVE THAT YOUR DICOVERING THEM! ALL OF THEIR MUSIC IS SO GOOD! RIP CHRISTIE!
Some of the original Fleetwood Mac was amazing as well. I strongly recommend Oh Well. A total classic.
You probably know this, but Come was written about Anne Heche, the actress. They dated for a short time
No, I didn't! 😆
I love Stevie, but it's so refreshing to see a reactor see the real talent behind the band.
