I drove a box truck in my late teens and early 20's. I left to become a Union Electrician for 35 years. I am now retired with a comfortable pension and enjoy watching driving UA-cam channels. Leaving to become an Electrician was one of the BEST decisions I have made, also, you make some awesome meals in your truck !!!

Hey Alex get yourself an inductive cooktop for the truck, you will need a skillet too that works with it but you can control the heat way better, it will boil water faster and better and it is less of a drawl on the electrical.

Best way I can describe trucking is that you're camping 24/7 at a different spot everyday across America.
Yes it's intimidating driving a truck at first but I mean it was intimidating learning how to drive a car too.
It just takes practice and trusting the advice your instructors give you.

@@mirjhyderI was like that not gonna lie but around 16 years I got a interest in commercial diesel, I began getting closer to my trucker father and I would spend summers with him over the road until I had to go back to school, afterwards I became a diesel mechanic for about 4 years learned a lot and eventually realized that wasn't what I wanted to do forever and I got my CDL and now drive my own truck I bought with the money and operate under my dad
@@alextepozteco3681 God bless you. I am very happy to know that you turned your life around. Yes I am hoping and praying that my son turns his life around. BTW I still live with my wife and kid. But my wife and me have completely different idea on how to raise a kid. We are opposite poles. So while I slog at work, the duo at home pretty much don't do much. And despite my best effort, it has been fruitless. So these days I have just emotionally distanced myself and just focus on my life.
