I'm planning on doing a cooperate name change. and splitting up the company into sections east-west dispatched out of Cotton Wood Kansas to North Carolina via Tennessee. The north-south will be under Brian I need to buy some land in northern New England. Alex, I have to remember to be very cautious. Why would you slide your tandems before getting into a door? Wen you don't have much room keep them forward until your in the lines and straight, it makes it easier you'll learn that the more experience you get

Saw a video,maybe a month ago, truck carrying paper rolls (not strapped down) on a curvy road, paper moved around the trailer and it flipped over. You can never have to many straps.
Maybe you should worry more about not following the GPS thru neighborhoods rather than other trucks backing into you at the truck stop lol that GPS is going to get you in a big time mess one day and its going to cost the company alot of money......
You may already know this, on the left part of the steering wheel the middle button is a sensor if you swipe it untill you see truck information come up on the top left of your screen, find the picture of the truck with a psi sign on it. That is your drive weight sensor to till you how heavy you drive tires are, you just need to figure out what psi is your max weight by weighing a heavy load.
And also the only time your should pull both brakes is if your sliding your tandems or parking and your nit gunna be in your truck for some tiem, you can still start your truck with your trsiler brakes pushed in
It is NOT boring sometimes for us to see driving on the highway. We get to see something of the landscape Alex and we see your driving skills on the highway. Please stop cutting your highway driving.
True that you have a tighter radius with the tandems forward, but you might be surprised how with the tandems back, it makes it easier to guide the back of the trailer.

I own a small very busy pizza restaurant in a pretty small town. We use Sysco as our supplier. They are not great but everyone else is worse. What have you heard about driving for Sysco?
I call them SUCKO lol, I work for their competition. The drivers I see on a regular basis are all nice, we get along, joke around and help each other out if needed. There aren’t many who have much good to say about working for the company.

And yea i get it....eventually somebody is gonna park next to you but when i go out of my way to find a spot alone and away from other people i expect to have some peace for a little while. My 3rd week I shot up to $2,000 a week after taxes then before he died I was doing $2,300 a week after taxes. The guys I hired last week are doing $2030.00 after taxes just doing 2 trips a week to Mass. and 1 triip Virginia to Georgia drop the trailer in the yard and grab the empty. Alex my friend we might need to have a discussion, but you decide when you want to make $$.

You can go to Walmart anytime you want some even stay open 24 hours but you can go during the day for sure.

When entering and exiting a semi trailer alway leave one door closed. endless it equipped with handrails. this will give you something to grab on too.

I work for GP and only three times that I grossed about 1600, yes gross and then taxes and insurance drops it to about 1200.
Also not to mention I was told it all depends on what dispatcher you get, they can either make you or break you.
