    Couple tips
1: when driving you can assume your truck is burning 10 gallons of fuel per hour that makes it easier to estimate your consumption rather than MPG.
2: bananas don’t get ripe in the fridge put them and bread in your microwave it will keep the plate from rattling and it works like a bread box keeps things fresh a little longer

Cascadias default to Low 1 when you shift into reverse. Any time you start getting that reverse gear jerking, tap the shifter stalk towards you once to switch it into Low 2 (you’ll see the R1 change to R2 in the dash display). It’s a lot smoother and more controllable without any of that jerking. You’ll notice a big difference. Also do this if it’s slippery and you’re getting wheel spin but then also switch the traction control off and engage the diff lock. Oh, and never put bananas in the fridge. Room temperature only. You’re welcome!

You make great videos, I noticed that you never talk about pay. I’ll bet your company does not want you to find out what other companies are paying. Last company I worked for paid for vehicle inspections, paid for drop and hooks, paid for waiting to load and also delivery time. You have a lot to learn about making money. When I was running teams our goal was to run 300 miles in 5 hours. We were on a 5/5 system. Drive 5 hours , sleep 5 hours. In the winter run east coast to west coast on I-40. The money is made running the big mikes. If the shipper delayed the company would hear about it. When I was independent a 12 hour delay was an additional $250. You have a lot to learn about making the big money. Many companies are paying over $100,000 first year as a company driver. Do some homework. All the best to you and hopefully an opportunity will open up for you.

It always helps to call the shipper and ask for directions if you're unsure. It's better then guessing and being wrong. Satellite maps are a Godsend but they don't always paint the most clear picture

That freightliner has 300 galón tanks 150 each side , your ol T680 has a 170 gallon tank, that's why it feels like is always full, in my 680 I can only fuel 70 gallon at half tank in my old freightliner I used to add 150 to 200 at the time.

In Jamaica we call those banana cooking banana. They never change color and need to be cooked to eat. Unripe banana and cooking banana look identical. Easy way tell difference is by squeezing it a little. Cooking banana is more firm than the fruit.

Alex detroit engines are very fuel efficient anyway. also with a round fuel tank the half level is the largest part of the tank and will show very slow rate of use until it drops down below half and then it will appear to use it faster. Same applies for full tank.

don't refrigerant Bananas. if it looks like Raw plantain cover them in a cloth bag and keep it outside the fridge. check for the ripe once then next day or two and eat. Refrigerating is not good for Bananas.

We use that same ELD for our company. Although they gave us a tablet for it. I do heavy haul, though. Wasn't too much a fan of dry van. Had more of a passion for hauling machinery and equipment. It's legit watching another young guy do his thing, though.

09:10 it's because they're in the refrigerator. Keeping a banana in the refrigerator slows down or even completely stops bananas from ripening, that's why they're bother green and brown at the same time. What you should do is keep them out in room temperature, maybe on top of the refrigerator instead.

How are you liking your new Freightliner? I trained in a T680 and was disappointed when my company didn't have any available when it came time to get my own, so I ended up with a Cascadia, ended up loving it! I love the amount of space up front, im a bigger guy so the seats being bigger and the cab being wider is great for me, also loved the jake break and how fast it activated, made it very useful.
