I don’t know why everyone hates on this guy. “He cleans his hand too often” “he doesn’t have 3 peddles” “ he always uses his 4 ways click clack click clack” “ he’s not a real man” “work at Walmart or go flip burgers”
Mans out here driving a huge ass truck while most people his age are still living at home with their parents. He’s only been doing this job less than a handful of years. Yes he has a lot to learn but he’s doing a job most people don’t want to do. 70/36 splits are not easy and being away from home for 6 weeks isn’t easy either. He’s just documenting his journey. Despite all your complaints he still has a level head and his company is obviously very happy with him and the way he drives or else he would have been fired.

Some of you commenting on Alex's videos,
I guess you missed where Alex's goal is to make a lot of money and go back to his home country with his girlfriend and live in a house on a mountain/hill. I just wonder what your goal is by slandering Alex , you probably do it to others also Maybe it makes you feel better about your own inadequacies in life. I think it says much for Alex's character that he sees these many slanderous comments by many legends in their own mind and never replies or defends himself, he just goes about his job. Many on here always cutting him down really should stand in front of a mirror and take a good long look at the one in the mirror. It must astounding to have such magnificent appearance and intelligence who never makes mistakes. No you would rather pick on some young guy doing his job to the best of his ability, which is an outstanding job.

2nd love the videos but you gotta ask for directions where to go instead of just driving and guessing where the Office is when going to Shipper/Receiving. 3rd gotta clean your trailer every load after done, so the next load doesn’t complain or have you clean it right there on-site. Forklift drivers hate waiting for a Driver. They just want to get the load done and get you out

I used to drive truck but am very grateful that blood clots in my right leg happened and I left the industry.
I discovered that I have a somewhat rare condition (factor V Leiden thrombophilia) where I am prone to blood clotting. I always wondered why I healed so fast from a cut! I immediately was place on blood thinner medication. Had I not gotten into trucking and developed blood clots I could've likely *never* known I was prone to clotting and it could've killed me on down the road (no pun intended).
As for leaving the industry...I loved it but the drivers I see coming out of schools are just terrible.
It's very refreshing to see Alex here who is slow, patient and methodical. He is doing things the right way.

I've only been overweight one time and it was from Campbells. The nearest cat scale was 100 miles, I think they do that on purpose. Waste of time to travel 100 miles to scale, then come back all the way back to make them fix it. I just rode dirty, I'm a night driver anyway so all the weigh stations were closed.

Me too. I was lucky that on my way to St. Louis from the Chicago area were lots of CAT scales. Was over about 6000 lbs in total and overweight on one of the axles. I drove the load right back to my terminal and said I wasn't going to deliver the load. I-55 in Illinois on the way to St. Louis has weigh stations open 24/7.

You buy a Gallon over there for some thing lke $5 . Here in Aus we pay abt 23 Cents per litre. Figure that out why you ar complaining when we pay this and we only get 4.45 litres to a gallon. know that is dam exspensive. Just one question for you Alex with all your travells when and how do you keep the Freighliner Maintained not just the normal serice but Brakes Wheel Bearings etc? Take care and be safe . Dude that question is impossible to answer. It depends on what you’re carting, how far it’s going, how many loads you do, everything. It’s impossible to even give an average. Same as a driver, you can get one fresh out of trucking school who might accept lower amounts per load, or you might find a professional who has 20 years experience but wants a lot more money.

Watching you back you keep turning your wheel WAY TOO much. It's like you need to see your complete trailer in each mirror to back. Three pull ups on a striate back is way too much. Please do better.

Majority of companies have gone to autos for fuel mileage. And to put any dummy behind the wheel now.

I assumed a truck driver is someone who drives a large truck with a large trailer. They go pick up loads of merchandise and take it to another location. then they go to another place and pick up more merchandise and take it to another location.
They do this over and over. I would think they would like some comfort since they live in the truck for extended periods of time. I would think they would love a modern truck with many comforts including and most of all a wonderful truck of various brands that you flip a switch and it goes forward or flip it the other way and it goes backwards. It's especially great when you're on a Houston freeway at rush hour

@@mountuplikeaneagle It's more than just a job of freight relocation, it is a lifestyle. All the real truckers tune in to watch Alex play at trucking. • @mountuplikeaneagle

@@scottied67oh I'm sure you all are so wonderful. Alex is doing a great job. Yes trucking is picking up loads and taking them elsewhere over and over. You get into many backing situations, light loads heavy loads winding highways but you're still picking up loads and taking them elsewhere. And that's what Alex does because he's a truck driver. He stays away from home 2 or 3 months at a time. He takes care of the equipment, he keeps everything clean, he does pre checks and post checks. He goes all over and does his job . In other words Alex is not a slob. I've worked with slobs that did everything half ass , no pride in their work. just do enough to keep the dot off their butt
