- A really rare early Crybaby with transitional Clyde circuit and components. All legendary parts that people try to copy but never quite get right. Halo inductor, Tropical Fish Caps, Icar pot, Ducati Caps. This amazing wah has a wonderful liquid feel and all the hendrix honk you could ask for.
Currently has a Castledine pot in, the correct Icar pot is included although a little noisey (still works ok). Cosmetically it's covered in chips, dings and plenty of character. I've just serviced it and it's in fully working order and sounds phenomenonal.

It's most likely a '68. I have a '67 with the Crybaby logo badge on the top of the foot treadle. Hendrix did use a wah like mine on stage. There's a picture online showing it clearly.
Awesome playing! That first lick on the tele is sweet. Got the exact same version of crybaby, only difference it’s got a clover/halo inductor. Sounds just right though.
Hello I have 2 1967 Era vintage Cry Baby wah pedals. One is Halo and Ducati and both are Icar. Both work right now but could use a good cleaning. One has a very weird serial number 336 then an offset and diff font 49. Where can i research some of this stuff.
Would you happen to remember what transistors were in this wah?

Fantastic video and fantastic playing. Always loved wha pedals ever since I started, the way they look, feel and sound.
I got this exact model from '68 last year from a shop in England off ebay (I'm in Scotland) and I did the very thing you mentioned, I asked them to send me a couple of photos of the guts and I was flooded to see the exact circuit that's in a Clyde!.
What's even more crazy is it was priced at £210.
I'm still pinching myself over that!.
