We have a AA mega church preacher in my local area who lives in a 4 million house in a gated community most of his congregation are middle to low income. I'm a former Christian who saw the light and left that ridiculous cult as well. It's been 18 years now, since I realized it was all bullshit. Trump didn't lead me to the truth, but I get how that may have happened for a lot of people. In my case, my church elders got tired of not having good answers for the questions I kept raising and eventually they just told me to read my Bible and ask God to guide me to the answers. So I did. I actually read the Bible. Not just the highlights that get cycled through again and again. I read the whole thing. And by the time I was about 30% into it, I was an Atheist.
I want to hear this story so bad!!!! Was it the election? Was it during the presidency? Was it a little after? Of course you an ignore me if you dont want to talk about it, just super curious. 👍🏽

I have lost a few friends on Face Book because of my stance and comments on Trump. It's interesting that most of the friends that have blocked me are people from my elementary and high school days. I graduated HS in 1976, so most of those folks are in their 60s. Only one person from my college days did that. I attended a small, liberal arts college, from which I earned my Bachelor's degree in 1993. Most of my college friends are in their late thirties and early forties, and are much more progressive than my childhood friends.

I feel the need to point out, since Forrest and Jimmy didn’t, that the attack the caller was referring to @15:22 happened on Easter 2019 during an Easter service, hence the term “Easter worshippers.” It wasn’t a fear of or aversion to the term “Christian.” This took two seconds to find out.
The reference to "Easter worshippers" was because it happened during Easter Mass. Easter, besides Christian, means a time of peace and reflection. They highlighted that these Christians were killed while practicing their faith, not merely as they went about their daily lives. For example, the Trump ordered attack on Christians in a Church, who were not actively worshiping.
Yeah its like if a group of Christmas carolers were gunned down and some said they were a group of "christmas carolers" instead of saying they were Christians. Oh no, how dare they!

How odd, I was a Christian for 60 years and never thought of Easter as a time of peace. I know it was supposed to be reconciliation with God but, the human sacrifice overrode that in my brain. It was always a problem for me, how I stuck with it so long is what puzzles me.
@@26beegee In my Catholic apologist youth, my perspective was that peace requires both sides to realize that the sacrifice was too great to continue. Human lives are sacrificed every day to uphold specific ideas or principles. I had a difficult childhood, so my perspective was that crucification was a token amount of suffering; mundane death as an escape from the limitations of time and space. Death and peace are deeply linked from my trauma. I’m glad you found another path.

Hey, how about when interviewers asked him about the Bible being his favorite book if he could share his favorite Bible verse? Nothing! That guy has NEVER read the Bible.
He's never read any book. He has what is known as Developmental Dyslexia which is a form of dyslexia which allows the sufferer to actually read out loud, like off a teleprompter, but without understanding the words. It's like reading a foreign language. Imagine how good someone would be in school if they couldn't read a text book, couldn't read an exam paper. Trump would have been the worst student in every class he ever took. Any fake qualifications he might have been given were bought and paid for by daddy. That's why he's fought so hard to keep his grades a secret. Back in his day developmental dyslexia would not have been known about so his teachers would just have thought he's retarded.

If anyone is still confused whether to vote Conservative or Liberal: just compare "the most conservative countries" to "the most liberal countries" and check which countries on those lists enjoy the most "Happiness."
It's Interesting those SAME "Happiest" countries are also rated with the MOST "Personal Freedom" and are "Safest" of all countries. The other list is rated LEAST on those qualities of any other country.

I think it's more accurate that you've got a party that wants to govern and then one that wants to prove that government doesn't work.
