Ngl seeing yoru kick fami's ass is hilarious
The prison arc has been chock-full of all kinds of hilarity, and I'm all for it. It's especially nice considering how depressing the last 20 or so chapters were.

We were expecting a bloodbath, bodyparts and displayed organs. Instead we got slapstick antics and a terrifying looking comedy pigeon.
Sadly, I think the fun is coming to an end soon...

This chapter was a great parallel to part one when Katana man made his first appearance as well. They had similar monologues where they seemed to be talking to themselves. Also the “I’ve never done no wrong” parallels to katana man’s grandpa doing no wrong.
And for katana man to reappear not long after was the icing on the cake

I honestly been loving these chapters lately. They’ve been so out there. I missed this chaotic energy everything’s been too dark lately so this is a breath of fresh air.

Chapter 159 had a lot of humor in it. Guilly and Nobana’s reaction, the eyepatch guy making up a story (supposedly) just to buy time for Katana Man to show up, and Fami getting dropped kicked by Yoru/Asa. Too bad Guilly didn’t get to show the fullness of what he was capable of and Fami calling him useless.

If you think about it, a lot of war has been caused by "childish" (petty) reasoning. So I think Yoru's personality is a pretty accurate representation of war. Why do humans fight? Because they cant have. Like a child wanting someone else's toy. Or a man wanting another's land.

I’m pretty sure that Asa will find a way to defeat Katana Man and turn him into a Spinal Sword so she can use it in her possible fight against both Reze, Quan Xi and Yoshida right before she saves Denji.
i hope people know that denji been powered up as well. remember when he transform on those who burned his house down he cut himself in half and didnt die compared to when katana man cut him in half.people dislike part 2 but arn't paying attention to little details from part one. this shits been good from the start

All of that build for Fami, her controlling a primal fear, her pulling out that bigass bird, just for her to get her ass kicked the entire chapter. Fujimoto, THIS IS A HORSEMEN. Y’all remember how powerful Makima was in Part 1? Then why is Fami so weak? I still have trust in Fujimoto, and I hope he cooks this next chapter. Give Fami her time to shine this arc
I hope so too, however I’d like to mention that durability isn’t exactly a strong suit in csm. I mean even the darkness devil was injured by makima, but regenerated instantly. Makima wasn’t super Durable either, she could just constantly regenerate due to her contract. the only character who has nice durability feats were full form pochita. So while fami may not be durable, she could have insane abilities that make up for it like pretty much everyone else

I’m ngl, I felt like katana man’s appearance is kind of a cop out. I want to see a new powerful devil, with new powers, and an intricate fight scene that would come with it. This is the 3rd time we’ve seen him and it’s starting to feel random.
As much as I love katana, I would preferred to see a new devil, and I think this would’ve been a perfect opportunity to do so

Random? He’s a part of Public Safety, he’s Special Division 7. They are literally like Division 4 from Part 1. They are here to clean up messes or be put down. To me it was completely expected. And I can guarantee that Quanxi shows up pretty soon as well.

yea this is the problem with fujimoto...the guy will legit suspend reality in his own fiction just to make a nod at some random movie he's seen once and this is an example of him copying the tone from a scene he's seen and running with it.

I love how this fiction falls apart from a 5-year-old asking "why?" repeatedly, because it eventually ends up with the CSM fan yelling and telling them to stop thinking about it so much and to stop talking.

They're fun and lighthearted i enjoy them. he switches the style all the time or him cook
