Yuta and gojo moments are good. Just makes everyone look disrespectful except yuta and yuji buy the reat of the cast nah. Makes gojo more like a tool and they never care for him. Which sucks honestly f those guys
Do none of ya feel like Yuta becoming a monster by using a monster’s body is a bit lazy? It doesn’t really offer anything new or unique for his character or for the theme of discarding one’s humanity. Geto decides to forgo his humanity by choosing sorcerers and killing his parents, going far as to genocide humans. Gojo forgoes his humanity by becoming the strongest, isolating himself as a different entity from humans, curses, and sorcerers. Yuta discards his humanity by abandoning his humanity by becoming Gojo effectively.
Its a cool and obvious set up given the ct and whats at stake, but it feels like Gege took the easier approach in tackling how Yuta does it.
I feel like it's more than just becoming gojo that makes this yuta discarding his humanity. I think part of it is because he's using kenjaku's technique to do it that gives it that edge. If they weren't under such extraordinary circumstances, yuta could very well have become a monster on par with gojo just through the passage of time. But because the scene is so dire, yuta used the technique of a demented monster to defile the dead body of his beloved teacher all for love and the greater good.
If geto became a monster through hate, and gojo became a monster through strength, then yuta became a monster through love. Mind you, he's the only character to have the theme of love as his focus. Seeing it through that lens is certainly unique to his character
@@Dan-neil This misses the point. I’m not talking about why they become monsters, its about them discarding their humanity, Yuta’s is lazy in that he just jumps into Gojo’s body. Yuta doesn’t stray from humanity in his own way, there’s nothing special about him discarding his humanity. Gojo strays from humanity simply due to who he is and what he has, Geto abandons his humanity due to his realization of humanity being inferior.
@@yYukiKuroi and Yuta abandons his humanity due to his overwhelming love. From his conception, yuta was a character that would do anything for the people he cared about. He literally says in jujutsu kaisen 0, In order for him to feel like he deserved to live, he had to kill geto.
In Sendai, it's implied that he would've killed uro and ryu if that was part of the plan. His moral compass depends on whether or not it will help his loved ones.
Taking over gojo's body is just the next step in that mindset. He becomes a monster by literally becoming gojo, the strongest. but to yuta he's also sharing gojo's burden as the strongest by literally becoming him. it's the ultimate expression of love and empathy.

Honestly prefer the volume you’re at now due to the audio issues. Before you were superrrrr low. Literally would have to adjust volume when your videos would play. Not much hassle but, do what you will with this info. Love the content regardless 🙂

Yuji growth and development as a character, the struggle he goes through to stop sukuna is great. I think the monster concept is cool for yuta and solidifying that them of sacrificing your humanity works. Just hopefully gege stick the landing

I just hope this doesn’t end up with Yuta being the one to beat Sukuna in the end. It would just ruin the everything that has been built up around Yuji and his place in the story. Yuji at the very least has to be the one who ends up dealing the final blow. If anything other than that ends up happening it would genuinely ruin so much of the build up.
Yuta will die in 5 mins. He cant kill sukuna in those 5minutes, he can only stop Sukunas domain from killing yuji and todo while they put the beats on Sukuna. You have to remember, Sukuna doing DE or anyone who cant clash with him, means instant death. Yuta showing up to clash domains with sukuna just stopped him from ending the series

Honestly, my main complaint with how this arc is going on, I can't help but feel like Gege has been using those flashbacks as an out of jail free card. Most of them feel very convenient and synthetical in a sense to me. Also I can't help but feel conflicted about Yuta in this entire thing and I don't mean that he's out of character, him becoming the monster was foreshadowed after the fight with Ryu and Uro, but what bothers me, is that we never got a single panel, mention, or implication that Yuta has Kenjaku's ct. It feels very sudden, out of nowhere, at least in my opinion. My thougths on Gojo's fate are also quite conflicted, on one hand I understand what Gege is going for, with his character, but on the other hand, I can't shake off that it feels wrong, first he got off screened, and now his body was violated after death (i know that he gave permission to it but still). It just feels like Gege is just making Gojo more and more misearable when it (at least in my opinion) could've been avoided. Also I don't like how Sukuna is just creating binding vows, on top of binding vows, without telling as conditions of those vows. Like he regained his domain which was very big, and what did he sacrificed for it? He is a character that supposedly has little to no atttachment to anything, so it seems juz bizarre that he had something so big that it equalized for his domain. At least thats what I think about everything that is going on, and I hope that the future story that Gege is cooking will make up for this.
1. was it not obvious that rika would eat kenjaku and take his technique? There is no downside to having more CTs stored.
2. Gojo's death was not off screened I still dont understand how people not get it, it was a slash he, us readers havent perceived or guessed and thats what makes it such a shocking reveal
3. Gege is showing us the dark side of humanity with the whole gojo's corpse being used to fight because if those sorcerers wont stoop that low they have no chance to defeat Sukuna they are just teenagers risking their lives and again gambling it just to make sure the greater good is achieved.
4. I am sure Sukuna's vows will eventually bite him back the same thing happened with his world cutting slash where he got jumped by yuta and yuji inside yuta's domain and almost got killed before he could use it.
And while the flashbacks do seem synthetic in their purpose I like how those are fleshing out every side character and their roles their motives, I gave gege all the praise mostly because I like the series and the themes it is giving but it will all depend on its resolution so hopefully gege cooks when it is the end game

I mean there's more to it than that. There's a very clear reason for everything happening in a thematic sense. Even this decision had immense character significance for yuta and was also very important to drive the main point of jjk imo. Like have u seen that one comment by gege abt jjks main theme. If u have I think u'll get what I mean and even if u haven't I'm pretty sure the story's done a pretty good job of illustrating it by now. I'm not looking for beef or anything just tryna ig give a different perspective on gege writing cuz I personally really like it. I know it has it's flaws and gege does fumble execution at times but he defo doesn't do stuff just to be random or for shock value. Even when he sacrifices some of the potential his story has such as in nobaras death it's to further the story in other ways not just for pure shock even if ppl may not like how it's handled. Sorry for the long comment but I had to get this off of my chest 😭🙏

My prediction: Maki comes in with Toji's body via the Seance technique being used by Cursed Corpse Nobara (She knows Seance since she grew up in an old school village). Yujo ends up Cursed Spirit Manipulation-ing the Merger cursed spirit and Uzumaki-ing it at Sukuna.
