Learning some of the language will go a long way in those markets. I love going to these and exploring the different styles of similar food that I have tried in each one. The pride the vendors take in the quality of their food and sharing their family recipes is beautiful! You really need to go to the Han river and do the bike rental or river cruise

They don’t follow traffic laws over there and when you walk , you should never hesitate. The people motorbike avoids you by seeing you walk with confidence and if you hesitate an accident will happen. Vietnam has variety of awesome food and especially nature if you like. 0:52 It (깻잎[kkaennip]) is not a sesame leaf but a perilla leaf. Sesame leaves are narrow, thick and tough. We don't eat sesame leaves, since they are not fragrant and don't taste good. Such a confusion originates from the fact that Korean words indicating sesame and perilla are "깨(kkae)" in common. Only when distinguishing them, sesame and perilla are called "참깨(true 깨)" and "들깨(wild 깨)", respectively.

1:25 he's using a euphemism, the more direct translation would be a drug like cocaine or ecstasy.

Yeah i mean we all love money and capitalists by ourselves but that gwangjang market really turned into nasty to domestic , besty to foreigners.
Price is at least 150percent higher
    Not welcoming koreans

보통 맛있다그러는데 모른다고 말하는게 가장 정확합니다. by the way 95% of you people in Korea don't have that long hair, Hi is weirdo.

I find it helpful when learning a language to hear an over emphasized version sometimes. You should check out his Tik Tok teaching foreigners Korean language…it’s very cool! Thanks for watching and for the compliments! 😌
