I think instead of fear or trust Glen was much more worried about being abandoned after this. He probably saw the recordings as a safety net incase she ever wanted to abandon him, using it more like a bargaining that will cause him to stay/live him. After all he did have a to-do list prior to hit that pretty much tied her as his wife (having kids/being pregnant, being married, living together). Assuming that the way she talked to him in the recording is normal than he probably hasn't been given emotional assurance that she actually cares for him the same way he does for her. Is it a petty tactic to have someone stay in a relationship with you? Yes. It is even more likely that this was his tactic as they have established a trauma bonded relationship in which the ex is the common enemy, the thing about these relationships is they are very easy to establish due to intense negative emotions but are very unstable because once the common enemy disappears so does the link that ties those two individuals together; ending their relationship.

We need some really serious Family Court reforms in this country. Too many people die because of the bs that goes on when it comes to custody. No parent should be given the right to remove the other parent from their child’s life.. a lot of men lose it in this country because they are being denied access to their kids and either kill the estranged spouse, or a much higher percentage, themselves. Taking a man’s children away from him makes him go crazy.. I think it’s hardwired into them. There has to be a fairer and more equitable way to do this that can’t be disputed by either party. Two men winding up dead like this is just crazy. And now there’s two sets of kids permanently deprived of their fathers.

Fair to the children AND the father. Requires women to give up an awful lot of privilege and discrimination (in their favour) but there simply isn't a good enough reason to favour women at the expense of children and men in 2023.

I didn't believe it at first because from 10years to like 18 I had been over constantly and nothing ever happened to me. Me and this other girl both came from broken homes but had VERY different demeanors. She was more passive and quite but I was more like I dunno crazy and combative? " She robbed her son of his dad and one day he will know that his mom planned it. "
2 juries thought otherwise..and their is an appeal process - your basing your assumptions on the assumptions made in this video and the hearsay, not evidence of some witness's as well as the incredibly maleficent testimony of jail house informants at the behest of well known perverters of justice. Perverting the course of Justice is the criminal charge many of these Victorian police were charged with during this time and subsequent convictions for many people have been quashed.

A gun's power and advantage is range. When the distance is under three meters, yes, a knife in a skilled hand can easily beat a gun, with a certain amount of luck. (Military combat training teaches that you charge a pistol and run from a knife for exactly this reason -- distance favours the firearm.) Especially a long weapon. It's then a question of who first lands the critical strike.
What's impressive isn't that he brought a knife to a gun fight and 'won'. It's that he did that when already shot, mortally wounded, and dying. That is the real badassery here.

@Meghan Cass i understand your strong sentiment but i also understand that losing a parent to death is so much harder than losing them to incarceration. If the children don't have to experience death and carry around what if's the rest of their life, that would be the ultimate outcome. She shouldn't have pulled the trigger on him or herself. She should have had enough empathy and will power to change the situation. But no matter what the shoulds and shouldn'ts are, these poor children are stuck with their parents burdens and that is beyond unfair. These children deserve to believe in hope and redemption if god forbid they ever make a mistake. Our children won't evolve past us if we show them how to devolve.

I don't have much sympathy for Glen, if any. He tried to kill Sylvana with the shotgun, and when that didn't work he began beating her. The only true victim here is Michael. All he wanted to do was spend more time with his son, which was his right. RIP, Michael.
