Autel Robotics was founded in 2014 by Maxwell Lee, a Chinese-American entrepreneur, and Li Hongjing, a former executive at DJI. The company is headquartered in Shenzhen, China, and has offices in the United States, Italy, Germany, and Singapore. Still chinese.
Thank you for this video. I find that just learning about China and the things they do just makes me not want to support that sort of thing. I want to eventually sell my Mavic Air and get a suitable replacement.
Amazing content! You have highlighted the data security issues that nobody wants to talk about. Huawei, Xiaomi, or DJI are brands that people should think twice about before buying.
DJI has given the ability to track an operator via Aeroscope. Ukrainian soldiers use them as not many know about Parrot and other brands. Unfortunately, DJI and other Chinese brands dominate the civil market. As a Ukrainian citizen, I seriously consider buying Parrot Anafi. Thanks for the video! 🇺🇦🇺🇸🇬🇧
I am looking for a drone NOT made in China! It does not need to compare with DJI's or other drones made in China, just a decent drone! As far as Parrot, it seems that sometime ago, people were complaining about the customer support that was almost none existent and not getting parts! Top notch cinematic video footage is not a concern of mine! Skydeo no longer makes hobby drones! By the way, NONE of these are beginner drones! Beginner drones are more like $35, After checking on the prices of the drones you talked about, it makes me rethink about drones made in China! I'm not near naive enough to think that if I buy a expensive drone and pass the Part 107, that I'm going to make a lot of money!
Thank you Steve! Americans are ignorant and/or just don't care that they are supporting a communist country like china to infiltrate and spy on us. If we ever go to war with china we'll all be at a huge disadvantage.
Parrot drones are based in France but made in China! There is a difference between "based in" and "made in"!! When you say "best", shouldn't you also say the most expensive?!
American products are only sold to wealthy businessmen, and ordinary people cannot afford them. China products are sold to people all over the world, which is very different.
to add to that... Capitalism feeds of the fears of the ignorant and will push that mandate regardless of all the falsehoods. "Paranoia, will Destroy Ya" !!
Autel is in fact a subsidiary of Chinese company Shenzhen Daotong Intelligent Aviation.
Exactly! So how come that he mentiones just the US part?
@@brian4855 Because he's stupid.. Democrat

Why are the choices so limited when it comes to non-China drones? Labor cost?
Possibly government oversight/overwatch.
China uses Uyghur slaves so its easy to make cheap products
