My favorite dish. I've noticed 2 variations whilst i lived in Cambodia. 1 was watery and great with rice, made with white sugar andbgenerally had hard boiled duck eggs in also... , and 1 was made with gooey palm sugar and left to really reduced down so the sauce was thick, generally didnt have eggs in and was eaten with white bobor. I loved both.

Can I request nom krok, banh chou, yao hon, stuffed chicken, sour chicken soup, cambodian pork and/or beef jerky, salaw curry, cambodian egg omelette with the green onions, cambodian marinated chicken, etc please! One of my childhood favorites. My mom moved back to Cambodia about 8 years ago and sadly I never learned the recipe from her. Had other family members make it but just doesn’t taste right. I can’t wait to try your recipe.
