INGREDIENTS:
Yield: 4 servings
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
1 pound / 450g beef stewing meat
2 tbsp Oil
4 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Red wine vinegar
1 cup Red wine
3 1/2 cups / 830 ml beef broth, homemade or low-sodium canned
2 bay leaves
1 medium onion
4 medium carrots
2 large potatoes
2 tsp Salt
Black Pepper

Ingredients:
2 tbsp Olive oil
700g / 1.5lb Boneless Rib Eye Steak
1 large onion
300g / 10oz. mushrooms
2 cups / 500ml beef broth
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
3 tbsp sour cream
Season with salt and black pepper
Chives (optional)
For side it can be noodles of choice, mashed potatoes, rice or whatever you like 😋

Beef Stroganoff was always a favourite of mine out of all the wonderful dishes my Mum cooked for the family while we were growing up, I would always request it when asked what I wanted for a birthday dinner or other special occasion. I still make her version of it from time to time, this one also looks very good!

She's using the Hexclad!! I have it and love it ..retains cooking Temps very well and is non stick..
Nice recipe. I think the only modification I’d do is to sweat the onions before the wine vinegar to take the bite out and develop the natural sugars a bit.

Amazing how the beef change shape from cubes to strip in the process!
If you add a little of the hot mixture to your sour cream, before adding the sour cream to the hot mixture, it will keep the sour cream from curdling.
That’s about the recipe I use for my stew but I add about 1/8 teaspoon of Allspice. Got that from an old Betty Crocker recipe and it really adds flavor.

The 2nd one is very similar to a beef stroganoff. Try pan frying baby onions and adding those as well. Another great video. 👍😘

Family used to raise beef, owned several myself when younger. I really miss having that fresh beef you've raised yourself knowing exactly what went into them.
