My fix for Law Enforcement. Merge firefighters and Law Enforcement into one shared responsibility job. I say this because the firefighters in our town are very fit pillars of our community. They want to help others for their career. They are committed to protecting life and property even before they showed up. Train all of these public servants both as Law Enforcement and Fire Fighters. Have them work 2 weeks on fire, two weeks on law enforcement. The bums that are currently applying for Law Enforcement would not even apply if they knew that would be required to stay in shape their whole careers. The Firefighters known that when they apply. They welcome that challenge. There is a huge difference of moral and personal integrity between Law Enforcement and Firefighters in my community. I would not hesitate one second to allow my daughter to date a firefighter. I can't say that about Law Enforcement.
