This video is really good. Thank you so much for sharing. I just bought a 95 B18C1 from the junkyard and I'm thinking of rebuild it and swap it in to my 94 EJ1.
I got the new oil pump and the bottom bolts where it screws they are lose will they tighten when I tighten the nuts or I need to tighten them separately
I tried zooming in to the part number on the box but it’s a bit blurred. Did you buy it from a dealership? They said it’d be $450, seems like a lot for an oil pump to me.

Hi Spencer did you put honda bond around the area where the O ring goes? Or just that bottom part? Thanks
Yes, just a thin layer all the way around.
Gotcha, I thought there is no need for honda bond where the O ring goes since it will seal.
Nice!!
Did you have to crank anything to spec?
@@JayRomero-m5t did you watch the video? I always torque to spec and say the values in my videos.
Do you know if there is a possible way of getting to oil pump without dropping the oil pan?
You have to drop the oil pan.
Hey how much did the oil pump cost? And do you happen to know the part number? Thanks
I don’t remember, I do know that I always show the part number of parts in my videos though. Watch the video and you shall see.
