That was a really well-rounded review. I think I might go with their tablet over Wacom when I start looking for one. Thanks for potentially saving me hundreds of dollars.
I currently have this tablet, and I think that your review is insanely accurate. I use it on the go with my laptop as well. Though with the stand, it makes travel a little odd if it's something you dont want to remove. I kept the box and foam that it came in, and it works. Thank you so much for getting so in depth! I actually didn't know how much I could with the driver! One of the things I liked about the cintiq was that I could dedicate specific settings to specific programs, and I'm pretty thrilled to see I can do it here too!
I've had the calibration stretch out that way too when I put the driver window onto tablet screen. If I drag it back to the laptop screen, the calibration appears on the tablet normally.
Greatest review! It was so hard to make a decision between XPPEN and Huion (wacom is a bit pricey and is has a smaller screen, so, no for my budget). For the XPPEN 16pro, I did some researches, it has accurate colour and feel like drawing on paper with the protector, this is something I like. But the parallax line is really annoying especially when you try to reach the upper corner, it won't be sensitive enough to let you click on it. However, after watched your review, I made my decision, yes XPPEN 16pro will be on my shopping list! Thank you for the awesome review!
Hahah! Big thumbs up for the epic end showing your final animation piece. Thanks for the review and very likely for saving me hundreds of dollars on a Wacom too.
Hey guys, my screen protector was off and now I am getting scratches all over the screen. Is there two levels of protection or is my tablet screen screwed?? Only had it for two days so may have to redeem warranty. Can you replace this to get rid of scratches?
I have an Artist display 16 pro and I cant get the drivers to recognize the device on windows. it says "Can't detect the tablet, please plug it into then open the driver again" anyone have any advice? please, thanks!
I have a XP-Pen deco 01 and it's a dream to work with. Although when changing the pen nib it kinda... Stabs it?? It makes a little scar. But it doesn't really bother me. The tablet sometimes stops working but it's probably because my windows 7, and I have a MacBook 10.6.5 if I'm correct and I couldn't download the driver because Its only for 10.7-10.9 but when I plugged it in it worked. That's all I have to say.
I love my XP Pen Artist 16, but the drivers for me lately have made it hell to work with... They’re no longer updating them and my pen would stop working constantly at random... part of me really hopes that something can be done about it. ;;
did you find any solution i cant even get the drivers to work in the first place it says "Can't detect the tablet, please plug it into then open the driver again"
Great review was going to buy this tablet myself as a user how has it held up since you bought it. I am going to be using it for digital pairing and zbrush sculpting. I have used a small wacom tablet for a while and it was good in the start, now though thought of looking for a wacom alternative
Adrian Zuniga I understand you can draw on the CO, that's obvious. I was just wondering if and why you would need a separate desktop to operate the CO. What's the purpose of the desktop?
Jorge Villegas They are graphic tablets, meaning they don't come with a computer built into them. You can connect it to your laptop of your choice and use the drawing software you have installed into the laptop. If you are interested in a machine that has all in one, then you could look into the Wacom Mobile studio, Wacom companion, or cheaper alternatives are the Surface Pro lines. I use a Surface pro 2 because of the price. Hope this helps.
Hi my wife has bought me a xp -pen 16 im traditional doodler and this terrifies me lol but I saw you do animation how do you do that ? please remember im a novice..
I agree with the menu setup. That part is poorly designed. Also, the top corners don't register well, even with calibration. Other than those two things, I really like my Artist 16. I would like to see a display toggle feature, so I can switch control between monitors. That would be incredibly useful!
OK the quality of this review was way over the top, someone should pay you for doing reviews with this amount of work
UA-cam pay this man for his animation.
That was a really well-rounded review. I think I might go with their tablet over Wacom when I start looking for one. Thanks for potentially saving me hundreds of dollars.
dito
holy shit this is the greatest editing for a review i've ever seen, this was fun alone to just watch!
this is the best display tablet review I ever seen. Your voice reminds me of sarcastically read fairytales

You were the guy who made the Caterpillar jump in the reanimated Mario short!! You're getting a subscriber for that!
Beautiful review! Super groovy and eloquent - this tablet might be just the thing! ❤
Thanks for the review! I now know a good possibility in the event of my cintiq breaking down... and good tutorial tidbits within here as well!
"Okay let's make an unboxing review"
Dude makes a full documentary
Amazing job dude you helped me a lot with bith 22E and this video review.
That was entertaining and as well as informative! Thank you!
I too find the "sausage" express key very useful 😂

My first time to your channel, mate that was the BEST review i've seen about anything! Beautifully crafted production! *subscribed*
You should consider becoming a voice actor or working in radio. your voice is perfect in tone and your inflection is spot on.
Hahah! Big thumbs up for the epic end showing your final animation piece. Thanks for the review and very likely for saving me hundreds of dollars on a Wacom too.
I can tell you spend a lot of time and put a lot of effort into these videos. Keep it up!
Surprisingly entertaining Review friendo!
thanks so much for making this video, now i know what to use for my animations
This review is SO UNDERRATED.
Very entertaining and in depth review
Great review, thank you! I'm about to invest in one of these units for storyboarding purposes

Nice work Harvey! I'm this close to buying one of these tablets thanks to your review! Cheers!
I have an Artist display 16 pro and I cant get the drivers to recognize the device on windows. it says "Can't detect the tablet, please plug it into then open the driver again" anyone have any advice? please, thanks!
Excellent review, very entertaining too and I learned a lot about other software.
The best review for artist 16 pro
I LOVE YOUR ANIMATIONS 💜💜💜
If you run a drier sheet between the screen protector and screen, it will get rid of the "rainbow" effect. :)
Ooh thanks, I'll have to try that. I'll have to get a new screen protector though after the gunge my old one's gathered up.
is there a glove for left hand?

Thank you for the detailed review! I just saw that they have a US version that has passive pens that don't require charging!
Good review! also that high definition dust xD

why is it when ever i see people use tablets on mac it's always cloning the screen and never extended??
I have a question, Can the tablet be used as a screen all on it's own (basically like a Desktop screen)
Should I get this or the huion 191
This was very helpful. Thank you so so much!!
Please help me this question.
What a software can i record my drawing video?
It is possible to record using camtasia software?
I've not used it myself, but I've seen a few speedpaints that use Camtasia. I use OBS for my screen capture stuff.
What obs is used for?
Is used as capture for picture or as recording program for video?
Wow this review was amazing
great review!! Greetings from Amsterdam the Netherlands
This is the review that I wanted I've watched 5 others and those weren't a quarter as good
I LOVE YOUR REVIEW
Could you fit this thing in a 17inch laptop bag?
Can I have a 2k resolution in my main monitor and 1080x in the xp-pen artist 16 at the same time ?
I don't see why not, the tablet works fine alongside a 16-by-10 monitor I have.
ty
Although I haven't got a 2k monitor to test it with, so can't say for certain.
Software in the beginning?

I am interested in purchasing one of these as a Xmas gift for my son. Does the unit require a separate desktop in order to be fully functional?
Jorge Villegas yes it does. These are monitors you can draw on.
Adrian Zuniga I understand you can draw on the CO, that's obvious. I was just wondering if and why you would need a separate desktop to operate the CO. What's the purpose of the desktop?

Hi my wife has bought me a xp -pen 16 im traditional doodler and this terrifies me lol but I saw you do animation how do you do that ? please remember im a novice..
It's just like traditional animation, only with a display tablet and software instead of pencil and paper.
Which software is it that you use ?
@@leenewey4683 its toon boom animate pro. www.toonboom.com/
Does it work for a Samsung laptop?
It toggled selection mode because it clicks "e" to erase
Can I plug this beauty into a laptop? I unfortunately don't have a computer
I’ve watched the video 13 times and this whole time I thought he was saying artisticstein or artisticsteed
Harvey I watched a video a long time ago if you playing Left Bank 2 where is it
ua-cam.com/video/Z3Qp_e7kxoE/v-deo.html I believe this is it here.
I agree with the menu setup. That part is poorly designed. Also, the top corners don't register well, even with calibration.
Other than those two things, I really like my Artist 16.
I would like to see a display toggle feature, so I can switch control between monitors. That would be incredibly useful!
have they released firmware to correct these issues?
Can we use it with a window 10 laptop?
Ding dong
To be honest i dont give a fuck about the tablet i just stayed to hear you speak... your voice is oddly soothing... AND NO IM NOT GAY!
Biggie ig you look gay...
that undertale thing with the 1930s style would work great for a cuphead animation.... just sayin.
note for anyone watching this, they swapped all their pens for passive ones even the cheaper models
would you like to donate this tablet?
