Great video! I always put the original key underneath the vehicle because I've had the vehicle recognize the prox key just outside the door like that! 205 Cadillac cts is what vehicle that happened to me on! 🤘#LockBoss

#Lockboss just FYI I used the I key 820 to program a 2008 Cadillac Escalade also use the my keys app to check out any information that may be helpful. I did all keys Lost based on the programmer had a 12 minute relearn time entered the keys that it was necessary and success no pin code needed thanks for all your videos I use them all in some format to help me better do my job PJ this is certainly a better way to learn than the forum sometimes you go there and the people are not so nice and their comments from time to time.

Is the smartpro a per key cost? The cutter/duplicator, the unit, and any per costs... I have a lot to invest before I can be an automotive #lockboss.

Your going to hate paying for the tokens. Look into the auto pro pad. Although it’s $600 a year to have its updates year round. I believe it’s much cheaper than token based programmers. If you don’t want to pay for the updates. Your programmer will still work all the cars that are already in it

PJ, can you reccommend a good key programmer for a beginner? I know that you use Smart Pro, but I absolutely refuse to buy one that requires tokens. I would like to keep it in the $1000 range.

I watched the Autek video and want to know which one you prefer, the Autek or the Smart Pro. Does one cover more automobiles than the other? #LockBoss
I prefer the SmartPro, it's super easy to use but it's not the cheapest. I think the Autek is best for starting out then upgrading to the SmartPro as it covers a much wider range of vehicles. -PJ
Heh, there are certainly a few steps to getting that Chevy programmed correctly. Thanks to video editing we didn't need to spend 10 minutes in a (potentially) hot car, but I could see how that might make for an uncomfortable wait. One of the job hazards of being a #LockBoss I guess! Thanks for the video!

I'm really thinking of buying the Smartpro for the newer vehicles and the ones that my others programmer won't. Use it as a backup since it more expensive to use and just add the extra to the keys I have to use it on. #LockBoss

I have the I key 820 key programmer I watch all of your programming videos be it whatever programmer you use and you always recommend to go to the my keys app to verify certain information I sense have downloaded the my keys app even though I have the ikey820 just for the helpful hints and tricks it may possibly help me better understand how to program cars even though I don't have the higher end programmer thanks for your help and all your videos I really appreciate all you and the staff at CLK supplies .quick expedient service always there for calling and questions and answers could not ask for a more perfect group of people I think by far you're my best and only supplier that I will deal with thanks again for all your help and understanding with issues that may arise you always seem to have the answers your friend James Shrader customer for life.#lockboss.
