Hello Alison. I have finally just made my first design. Its on the turner as im writting this. My question is, how long do i leave it on the turner. I know the resin takes 24 hrs to be touch dry but do i leave it on there the whole time.

where do you get your sanding paper from?
I am excited to get the new GF product!! Does it hold up better against water than the BT? I made a tumbler for a friend who accidentally sat it in water on the counter and damaged it. I am hoping there will be less risk with GF.

when you are doing your coats of Grand Finale (and drying for 2 hours) are you drying on the spinner? Sorry, I am a newbie 😉

Yeah you can put it over it. Although it’s better to start with epoxy and end with crystalac!

Can I use this on a wine glass and bring the crystalac to the rim? Do I need to sand if not using glitter. Say over paint.
You can bring it to the top and no don’t sand unless you need too
I noticed that on the last sand you put the decals on. Won’t the scratches from sanding show through???

Could you use alcohol to clean off after sanding?
No, it will soften the finish. A damp paper towel with a little water is great
I watched another person use the grand finale and she showed where you could see all the little scratches from sanding through it do you know what would have caused this?
You need a few coats on top of a sand to fill it all in
I used Brite tone yesterday for the first time I did two coats of Crystalac than sanded my vinyl tumbler it made Nick's and scratches was I not supposed to sand vinyl I know epoxy you do wasn't sure I wasn't supposed to
I usually wait 4 coats before sanding over vinyl!

I have tried it and it doesn’t make financial sense for US users. Because it’s based in the UK you are paying significantly more for a similar product

My glitter lost its sparkle! I did 3 thin coats of the GF and sanded. No sparkle at all. What did I do wrong??

What. If I accidentally bought the matte instead of gloss? How do you use the matte
You really still need the gloss. The matte should only be used max the last 2-3 coats so you’d need the gloss leading up too then
