Thank you, SOOOOOO much! This is the best tutorial for Brite Tone I’ve watched since switching to epoxy free Crystalc products. Every question I’ve ever had you’ve answered with full explanations as well! I couldn’t be more grateful for finding your channel. Beautiful cup!
Wow it's beautiful! I love the glitter on the bottom, it's so pretty.
Thank you for adding in how to address product build up the top lip.
Love this video! It really explains some questions I had about glitters and smashing them down.
This is the best looking cup I've seen yet
Probably the most beautiful Milky Way I have ever seen - always love your tutorials!!!
Best tutorial I've seen so far!
Amazing and So Helpful !! Thank You !
Very helpful!
Beautiful tumbler. I love your idea of putting in BT into the paint for the second layer! I tried it and loved it! Thank you!!
Its absolutely gorgeous!
Beautiful
Also I love all ur tutorials
Beautiful tumbler! This was a very informative tutorial. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
Just beautiful! A question, part 5 - what do you mean by the glitter off the color when you're sanding?
Hi! I love how this turned out. Is there another alternative other than glitter glue to seal? E6000, modge podge?
I love that font! Would you mind sharing the name?
Is there a link to buy the svg for the mama bear decal?
Is it six layers over decal what the time in between
How did you or who designed the tag on the bottom
You make it look so easy! I never knew about the layers of gg prior to BT. Going to implement. Where did you find the metallic vinyl?
The glitter glue helps a lot! And it’s Teckwrap brand, you can purchase from Amazon. This one is Chrome Silver and I also use their Opal a lot.
What brush are you using to paint the base?
I have been watching your videos like crazy the last couple weeks. You are a really great teacher. Thank you for being so clear and concise!!
AND…This cup is really beautiful!
I just started my crystalac journey (did epoxy cups for a few years). I hope you don’t mind if I ask you a couple questions? 1. My first cup is spinning right now. I covered the whole cup in fine glitter. How many coats of Brite tone would YOU do on a cup like that in order not to feel the glitter? (I’m trying to figure out if my layers are too thin). I’ve done 6 coats and I can still feel the glitter. 2. I watched a lot of Brite tone Milky Way videos and it seems like everyone uses way more Brite tone on them then “2 sheets of paper”. What am I missing? Couldn’t that create orange peel and other bad things to happen? Thank u for your help! This has been fun to learn!!
You are too kind, thank you!
You want to level sand over your glitter after 4-5 layers of BT. Your BT is building up on top of your glitter, which is why you can still feel it. Level sanding will help a lot: www.tiktok.com/@thehoppydoxie/video/6978964849292233990?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id7036215499822843397
I also seal my glitter 2-3 times with glitter glue before adding my BT, and that also helps. With 3 coats of glitter glue and a level sand after layer 3 and 6 and I'm usually ready for decals, otherwise probably 10 layers without the glitter glue.
You do typically add a bit more BT to your layer with your swirls, I think I mention in this one to make sure you let it dry overnight for that step. That will give the layer plenty of time to dry and avoid the orange peel issue. But otherwise yes, you can run into those issues. Your finger should glide easily along the cup but not having any product dripping off your finger when you apply it.
Can you use clear spray paint or mod podge to seal the glitter?
You can, but clear spray paint needs to gas off 48 hours and mod podge has a tendency to repel BT when it’s used as a sealer so I would either use glitter glue, e6000 spray (the white pump one) or just go straight to BT

thats a lot for one cup--but beautiful
