I've always been fascinated with Scandinavian countries and now that I've just come back to my home country (Italy) I missed those amazing places so much. People were well mannered indeed and everything seemed so well cared after!
I liked Norway the best because of its diverse landscape and I decided to learn the language to come back again and be able to converse freely with natives.
Thanks for making this video series!

These lessons, though simple, are teaching you one of the dialects in Norway, of which there are several. Usually though, you will not be too lost if you speak the eastern Norwegian dialect, as that permeates almost all national television and radio, so all will understand it. These lessons are mainly, in that dialect.

Can somebody please explain the translation of “Hvordan står det til?”?
    Hvordan - How
    Står - Stands
    Det - The
    Til - To/For
That means the sentence says either:
    “How stands the to?”
    or
    “How stands the for?”
How can this possibly mean “How’s it going?”
    I’m so confused 🤷‍♂️

He said it literally means "How's it standing" so probably the "det" and "til" are suposed to be "is it"? I dont know hahaha I'm just as confused as you.
