This is by far the best language lesson I have ever seen online. The way you speak in norsk and then in engelsk helps connect word I'm hearing, and is SO helpful for learning the lesson. Tusen takk!
dem kann ich mich nur anschliessen. best lesson i have ever seen
Snakker tydlig og korrekt både engelsk og norsk.
❤gracias guapa ❤mi amiga ❤
Agreed 100%... will learn how to write that pa nosk :)
❤gracias guapa mi amiga que tal como estas ❤
Hello from Norway! I just randomly stumbled upon this video
Keep it up everyone =D
Its actually kinda hard but its ok, from morocco.
Because of you, I started to learn norsk, with Duolingo. As an German native speaker, and a B2/ C1 in English, I can tell you this is way easier as I thought. I have so much fun… ❤❤ tusen takk
How is it going?
And im a Norwegian learning German through Duolingo. Small world!
I'm a native English speaker and learned French in 4 years of immersion 35 years ago. The incredibly easy verb conjugation in Norsk is sooooo nice. It seems a very orderly language which I'm appreciating a lot.
@@bekkerz7789 eu nunca tinha notado que português e espanhol causavam tanta dor de cabeça para estrangeiros, mas realmente, tem ate tabela de tantas formas temporais dos verbos
agora to aqui aprendendo norueguês kkkkkkkkk
I am English and speak some German and yes I think I might be okay with Norwegian too. 👍
What a great teacher! I wouldnèt have cheated my way through university if my professors were so clear!
So similar to English and Dutch! Great lesson!
I think this language is very similar to swedish language...
I speak englisch, german and dutch. I have no idea about swedish, but I also think some of the pronounciation is very similar to dutch, BUT sometimes with a complete another meaning. For example: Jeg (I) sounds similar to the dutch Jij (you). The sound of the "u" is similar to dutch, so it doesn't seem to be hard learn. I will struggle with the trilled r.
That was a superb lesson! Very clear explanations and translations. Maria is very clear and easy to understand, thank you for uploading this! Dave. 👍🏻
The very best explanation of Norwegian grammar, from all the UA-cam videos that I saw. BRAVO !
Er du norsk jeg er norsk komenter hvis du hvet hva jeg sier
@@zorimson Jeg er ikke nordmann. Jeg lærer norsk, nybegynner og kan ikke forstå alt på norsk.
@@zorimson Hello my friend,as you said you are Norwegian right?
Can you please tell me your opinion about NTNU university? I'm a foreigner,i live in Georgia (country),and i want to apply in that uni. What you think about it?
This is awesome! I'm a third-gen Norwegian/Swedish American. I learned basic Norwegian as a child as my family still speaks it at home sometimes. I also speak French and so much of Norwegian is similar to French pronunciation! This was great to brush up on! Thanks a bunch!
As a native french speaker, pronouncing Norwegian is actually incredibly hard 😂 The r sounds are completely different
Я вообще не нахожу аналогий между французским и норвежским произношением 😂
@@PG-3462Honestly, it's just some mixture of french "r" slightly rolled with some "L"
(I'm French)
Prononcer le r norvégien comme un rl (assez rapide), je trouve que ça se rapproche bien.
Which means you're 100% american. Nobody except americans like to call themselves by their ancestry.
I loved this lesson! I took French for a year and a half in my previous highschool, and the lessons were set up like this! My teacher would speak in French, then she woukd translate to English. She did the pronouns like that, she did the three word groups, etc. I'm teaching myself Norsk, and I cannot wait for future lessons like this!
This is more understandable than the actual class I’m enrolled now 😅 Thank you for uploading this! It is super helpful ✨✨🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I just started studying Norwegian and all I can say is THANK YOU. ❤️ I actually understood everything and now I'm feeling like I can do do this! ❤️
How is your progress?
We need updates
You are the only reason I learnt Norwegian, then Swedish, then Danish...you make it easy...the back and forth from English to Norsk amazing....love this
I really, really love your classes! To speak as well in Norwegian as, afterwards to translate them into English is just perfect. Thank you so much!

Amazing lesson, very clear! I've learned and could understand much in just a few minutes...thank you so much!
Du er en virkelig god lærer! Tusen takk.
This video is amazing. Thank you!
Thankyou - this is an excellent video that really helped me!!
Pronouncing the Norwegian 'g' as a Dutch 'j' works miracles in understanding the language, from a Dutch regional (Nedersaksisch) perspective. Jij / You -> Jeg - Mij / Me -> Meg. Even 'du' (you) is quite familiar. We say 'joe' (Drenthe) or 'doe' (Groningen). (Pronounced in English as 'dou'.) Gå is also quite similar as that's how we pronounced it as well, with just an additional 'n'. (Goan. Compare English 'going'.)
Excellent lesson, made many notes and enjoyed. Will stay for more.
I enjoy hearing Norwegian, and this is my first lesson. The video is great
A great video by a beautiful and very competent teacher. It couldn't be better.
Tusen takk lærer , veldig god kursnorsk !
Etter denne klassen, jeg føler at jeg kommer til å forstå norsk noen dag. Fantastisk klasse! Du er flink på både engelsk og norsk.

It’s impossible not to learn with a teacher like that 😍
I had learned more from this video than poking at Duo for well over a year. Tusen takk!
du bist sensationell gut. mit dir ist es leicht, norwegisch zu lernen.
This helped, thank you so much for taking your time to help us! I am a Norwegian who forgot how to speak my language so this was really helpful.
Very well, I uderstand, I speak English and Swedish, Tusen takk.
This was an amazing lesson thank you very much. Trying to move to Norway from the us. And want to go there fully ready and immersed in language culture and lifestyle.
Tusen takk...very clear i love it...
Excellent instruction!!!
You have explained this better than two years of duolingo!!!
Tusan takk!! My fam is Norwegian and even though they talk I have no clue what’s being said aside from sometimes 😅😂 now I’m truly going to learn!❤
Amazing how i understood some of the things you said without knowing the language. Just saw you video recommendation and clicked on it.
M'lady, you have a gift. You are incredibly helpful, even down to the physical movements (like walking, eating, talking, etc, that you performed while speaking the word to cause visual correllation), slowly ebough to hear each syllable and sound without sounding like you're talking to 4 year olds. You have a gift for teaching.
Thank You For This Video. May God Bless You For This Video. May God Bless Norway. May God Bless All Our Norwegian Brothers & Sisters. Great video. I love how her face expression changes whenever she switches from English to Norwegian.
It's a great lesson
I learned something about Norsk
I'm two weeks into Norwegian on Duolingo which is great. But I feel like I'm guessing on much of the grammar. Looking forward to more of these videos to fill in the blanks. And quite a thrill whenever she'd say something in Norwegian and I understood it!
Very great lesson. Very beautiful teacher.
Thank you so much 🙏
I'm learning Norwegian with Duolingo and whilst it's great, there are some elements I've found confusing regarding the grammar and it's been very useful to understand the structure without having to worry about the vocabulary. Tusen takk.
Stop not only being good at teaching but super pretty! Thank you for the lesson miss:)
Great teacher I love these lessons it's easier to understand norwegian
Omg this is so good! You are very good teacher.. I am amazed how I somehow know what you are saying before you translate it to english..

i quite understand, I'm from Indonesia nice to meet you, tusen takk. Terima kasih. Thanks.
Best lesson ever❤
Great lesson!
Tack så mycket
Thanks so much
This is an excellent video and explains the fundamentals of Norwegian grammar very well - definitely an essential for anyone starting to learn Norwegian. However, I wish there was an option to put on subtitles, especially for the sentences in Norwegian. It personally helps me a lot to read and listen at the same time. Nevertheless, still a wonderful video.
This is amazing! One of the best✨ Thank you for your efforts ✨☄️💗 I hope you consider adding subtitles in Norwegian or English to these videos if it's possible; it would add up to the language acquisition process, nevertheless this is really one of the best Norwegian language videos I've seen on UA-cam 💗 perfectly demonstrated ✨
you are very beautiful ❤❤❤
where are you from ❤❤
methodology is really impressive
Takk my teacher Maria
Takk skal du ha, Maria!
I'll be starting this month for my committed journey of learning Norsk, as well as my other interests :) Wish me well!
This video is one of the most understandable in terms of Norsk learning
Jeg kan jo snakke norsk, men det er bare koselig å høre på deg!! Du er sø søtttt!!🥰🥰
Outstanding!!!! I could understand a lot!!!
I don't know why but I decided to learn Norwegian😂❤
Adoro suas aulas parabéns 🎊
That was perfect and you are very beautiful😍
Thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
So useful God bless you 🎉🎉
What a beautiful language. To me Norwegian is a perfect midpoint between the extremes of Danish and Swedish pronunciation.
Which Norwegian? We have about 200 dialects. This is the Oslo dialect. Move away from Oslo, and things start to get very very different. In Norwegian, a dialect is not just a tone of voice. The words can be different. And to make it even more complicated, there are two different written forms.
@@ukspizzamani hope you can clarify me on this, i know theres many different dialects, but i want to eventually work and live in Norway, but the most available to learn is the Oslo one, even though its different, can i live by just learning this one? Idk what region I'll be going, i want to learn the language first
God morgen!!! Tusen takk for the leassons. Now, everyday I can learn norwegian. Maria is an intelligent teacher and very beautiful woman, love her!!!
It is hard to concentrate on learning, when the teacher is absolutely gorgeous! But i will keep trying.🙂
Ja,du bist Recht 😅
Very cool! I’m from Brazil. I try to study english And Norwegian and I can understand many things. Sorry, my english is not good. Thanks for your video!
your English is actually good like wtf
@@zacknazarov1649yeah it is, maybe some work on the phrasing, but its way above average for the Brazilian
Tusen takk!!
Perfect
