    What benefits have you seen from intermittent fasting?

    This is a very helpful video that a lot of people who are considering fasting should watch before they start fasting. I used to be hypoglycemic and tried to do a three day fast and nearly passed out because I was so weak and shaky. I've always been thin so I don't think I had enough body fat, but no one ever tells you that can be a problem. I was trying to do a cleanse because I had bad constipation and I'm pretty sure I was low in minerals as well.

      I’m 5’9” 120 lbs and didn’t have a good experience with fasting either. Skin rashes around mouth and eyes. Lack of vitamins I think

    Really appreciate your videos TC! I have been dealing with chronic digestion issues for over 10 years. Finally feel like I’m beginning to understand the root CAUSE of so many problems and how to truly heal. I’m interested to get your take on leaky gut. Because all the cool kids have leaky gut ;-)

    Long ago I was addicted to sugar, my body cannot process as normal and have brain fog problem. I use intermittent fasting to reduce weight from 82 --> 58 kg, reverse sugar problem and use prolonged fasting (fast more than 24 hours) to help remove toxin in brain, it help tremendously. Still I can feel that my brain need more prolonged fasting time to be able to reverse the symptom, remove all toxin and solve the problems. The longest duration at that time was 30 hours, I tried to do more but the body said no.
    This video has highlighted all the problems I was encountering at that time. Thank you very much TC.

      When you fix underlying problems that help the body function better, a person can either fast longer, or reduce the trouble that can come from fasting longer than their body is set up to do. your best bet could be to go through our totally free digestion course because that will walk you through figuring out which aspects of digestion are not working correctly and what steps will help you the most. I really enjoy your videos and the information you provide, Thank You. Could you do some videos for someone who has had a total hysterectomy (radical hysterectomy , bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy ) I had this done some 20 something years ago , I’m going on 54 years old and I struggle greatly with hot flashes and hair thinning and falling out . There is no life ,it seems in my hair, it is so thin and frizzy, it’s like it has died or dying. I take no hormones, I’ve tried biotin pills, coffee rinses, potato water , and rice water rinses you name it I’ve tried it. I’ve added ACV to my water to drink before meals and also occasional lemon water to drink in the mornings ( that sets off some nauseas feeling ) I do cayenne in a little water before meals for digestion and I also do pancreatin 1300mg. if I consume meat, just to help with digestion. I’ve experienced diarrhea for a period of 2 wks. not to long ago and bowels have not really been the same after the diarrhea ( kinda orangey brown to regular brown , it’s not hard,kinda a little sandy but has formed back to almost normal) Sorry for going a little overboard with the symptoms . I’d appreciate if you could talk about the hormones and the dead/lifeless / falling out / thinning hair. Once again, Thank You for all your hard work,in-depth, easy and straight to the point videos 🙂 God Bless…🌻

    Its true, i had a gallbladder attack, hospital made me fast for 3 days (no water was only IV) and prior to this ER visit i was eating high carbs and so when in the hospital, those days were TERRIBLE 😢 headaches and super hangry 😑. And i concluded by 3rd day the involuntary fast helped relieve my gallbladder pain. After that i started a healthy clean keto (home made fresh food every day) and did great for 3 months. I felt so much better and i combined both keto with intermittent fasting (2 meals and 1 snack like kefir smothie or green 💚 juice)

    • @faithlilis
      @faithlilis 7 місяців тому

      I said 3 mo because after those 3months i started slowly went into dirty keto, LET ME TELL YOU, IT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL, I CAN TELL MY BODY STARTS FEELING ALL THESE SYMPTOMS I USE TO FEEL FROM DIGESTION ISSUES TO ACHES IN MY BONES AND SO ON. I MISSED FEELING BETTER SO I WENT BACK ;)....FEELIN BETTER TODAY😊

    So running Instead of walking will sabotage IF?

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  Рік тому +3

      It can for some people, if that exercise is too intense for the level of resources that the body has available. That doesn't mean it won't work for anyone. But for most, a fasted walk will result in more fat loss than running.

      Yes, we disagree on a lot of things and that's okay. he also says to take ox bile with your meal. Here is my video explaining why that is a bad idea. ua-cam.com/video/6EhZiBE2SBc/v-deo.html

    • @kritsaphongphuthibpaphaisi1509
      @kritsaphongphuthibpaphaisi1509 7 місяців тому +1

      Based on my experience, I agree on both TC and Dr. Berg. In term of fasting 16 hours or less, gut issue would not be a problem, it even become better. However, if a person plan for prolonged fasting (which is fasting more than 24 hours to achieve autophagy), gut issue could hinder autophagy process. If you plan for prolonged fasting, it will be better to fix gut first.

    • @jewellhershey
      @jewellhershey 5 місяців тому

      Dr Berg’s recommendations on this topic did not work for me. Dr Elizabeth Bright is not a fan of fasting. Her recommendations do work for me. TC seems spot on to me.

      I might not. It really depends on how your body is processing foods and what you're eating.
