      A lot of them. But after a couple of months of getting on betaine HCl and digestive enzymes, I'm still having pain really high up in the stomach after everything I eat. Even water sometimes. Tired of being in pain. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Wondering if there's a point where maybe I'm supposed to get off the HCl? Because it seemed to be working well for a while and I had weeks of no pain. Maybe it's too much now?

      Same here…all of those symptoms…all while going to the doctors and begging for help. I have Betaine HCL and Ox bile (no gall bladder) but I was talking them improperly. Based Hale‘s videos, the HCL is taken with the meal to acidify the stomach. Bile is taken 1 -1/2 hours after the meal to replace the bile that would normally be added in the intestines.

    I've been aware of low stomach acid for some time now and have been adding ACV to a glass of water before meals (plus Flaxseeds already softened in water overnight and Olive Oil). However, I never realized low blood pressure is also linked to low acid. Excellent information - I now know why!

    • @mercyajoke3475
      @mercyajoke3475 Рік тому

      How do you feel after taking ACV? I also have low stomach acid because I don’t digest food properly. Do you have h pylori infection ? Pls share your experience.

    • @irenemcwatt2088
      @irenemcwatt2088 Рік тому

      @@mercyajoke3475 Absolutely fine. I don't have h Pylori infection, but taking 2 tsp of the vinegar in a full glass of lukewarm water the ACV tastes like a soft drink. However, if you add Extra Virgin Oil to your regime, this will heal the skin on the inside of your gut. Take from 2 tsp. to 1 tbsp of olive oil every day, and if you suffer from itchy, eczematous skin, the olive oil will help reduce this problem too, and probably heal it altogether. Look up Dr Mandell on UA-cam, he explains best the benefits of these ancient healing remedies.

    I have had the chronic laryngitis thing for 30 years. I hear you had it for eight. Congratulations on beating it. Mine occurred after a bad cold I got while binge drinking in Mexico. Lost my voice then and life has sucked ever since. Socializing sucks etc etc etc. You know what I am talking about, no pun intended. Most people dont have a clue and kind of role their eyes when you whine about it then when they get a bout of laryngitis for three days they take off work and because it is so difficult to communicate but still roll their eyes when you bring it up. I was hoping I had silent reflux and apple cider vinegar would fix it but it hasn't really helped. I also tried the inhaling of a baking soda water mist to neutralize the pepsin but that hasn't really helped. Is there a good diagnostic to check if you actually have low acid? Like you, I saw dozens of doctors, ENT's. PPI's , voice therapy, etc. nothing helped. My diagnosis is muscular dysphonia by the way. Cheers! Dan

      Thanks @plumeria66 yeah, that is really common for someone to experience some signs of low stomach acid but not others. Most people are not going to experience all of the signs. But any sign can let you know if taking steps to correct the problem would improve a lot of things. Just keep in mind that you might not have enough acid to even experience reflux and when you start to add some it could create some reflux symptoms until you add enough to trigger the valve to close correctly. So if I've got low stomach acid then why does it burn so badly when it comes up? I mean a lot of food I eat like Blueberries have a PH of 3.3 and they don't burn when I eat them. I've even sucked on a Lemon and it didn't cause great discomfort, so I'm thinking that the PH of my stomach fluid must be lower than 2 because it burns like Hot Sauce when it comes up.

    Excellent video! A coworker did have a subset of these symptoms. 1) Certain foods made him severely boated. 5. His stools were creamy, yet constipating, irritating, and always had a scent. 7) Always hungry. 10) Charlie horses (sign of low minerals). Great progress was made with introducing acid (e.g., apple cider vinegar, vegan betaine HCL, tangerines) when he ate. Haven't tried sparkling water, yet. His stools are now good texture, the bloating is dramatically improved, but stools need more darkening, so I watched the video on the bile flush. Challenge is he has a history of kidney stones so he avoids oxalate-rich foods like beets and spinach. Suggestions?

      @rajinevin7273 Місяць тому

      Perhaps "doctors just don't care" but even closer to the TRUTH is that doctors DO CARE about making money. They work hand in hand with BIG PHARMA and they subscribe, subscribe, subscribe - as much as possible! They also only learn a VERY NARROW version of what health is in medical school. Let's face it - their 3 main go-to's are RADIATE, CUT or MEDICATE. That's what they were taught and that is MOSTLY what they have to offer. That is why so many are seeking alternative methods of healing - or rather - many are seeking ways to heal vs. ways to cover up symptoms and continue to live life with an illness or disease as their doctor is not helping them to heal - and most do not even know how to heal. They simply know how to cover up symptoms - with medicines that are TOXIC - with long lists of so-called "side-effects" and they even include that they "could cause death" as one of the "side-effects". You MUST become your OWN doctor, learn how to listen to your body, do you own in depth research (as we can find MUCH info on the internet these days) and learn how to ascertain what resonates with you and your body and what does not. It is up to us now. DUMP THE SO-CALLED DOCTORS! Unless you utilize their equipment for diagnostics and such - or for a broken bone. Otherwise, seek out info on your own - or IF you can afford it - look for a "Functional Medicine Doctor" - who will guide you in the wide spectrum of WAYS TO HEAL the body! Good luck! Stick with it. IT WORKS!

    #1, YES. I burp a lot. I'm really regular, every morning when I wake up and again a little later on usually. Never the wrong color or undigested food. #6, no, never. #7, YES. Definitely, hungry all the time. #8, YES, definitely! #9, YES. But I don't eat any of those things. I eat 90% raw and always organic, grass-fed, pasture-raised, wild-caught, non-GMO, wheat, soy and dairy free, no seed oils, no sugar except fruit, etc. #10, yes. My blood pressure runs on the low side but I'm really thin, 100lbs and 5'3". It's not dangerously low, just lower than the 'normal' range. So, do I have low stomach acid? I just bought Pure Encapsulations Digestive Enzymes Ultra with (500mg) Betaine HCL and have been taking them for about 3 days now. I really hope I feel better soon. I feel like I'm dying. Wow, I literally have faced all of these issues. Over the last year and a half its gotten way worse and I have to sleep elevated cause otherwise I puke bile. Indigestion and burning are bad, green stool but thats more uncommon, lower blood pressure (90ish over 60ish give or take) and more. I have been on PPIs on and off over the years and don't think they help but thats what docs keep pushing. Heck, I even have breathing issues now and my latest endoscopy showed grade A esophagitis and gastritis... Anyone have any ideas on how to get doctors more on board? I just started seeing a new GI doctor and I'm hoping the follow up from the scopes will be productive and plan on asking for PH tests in particular. Any suggestions on tests will be greatly appreciated.

    Hello very detailed video however im having trouble determining if im low acid or not still.
    I did the baking soda test and burped before 2 min which according to that should meam i have normal sufficient acid.
    But i have had issues since forever with eating and then wanting to burp after eating so much that i throw up in mouth a little. This is pretty much case all the time so much so that its mire comfortable to have sprite or food in stomah than nothing because when its nothing i kust feel burning in throat and stomach pike lava.
    If im wanting to burp up water food etc then is this a sign of low acid or not and i also seem to feel like i can taste food in stomach hrs after eating.
    Baking soda test said i have normal acid but im not sure.
    Another important symptom is that for months I was getting ulcer canker sore looking things in top of throat felt like strep throat but it was not.
    Also often I get globus feeling or choking feeling like throat muscles are being stressed or something.
    I keep burping and stomach feels like a fire are any these signs of a stomach ulcer?

    Gallbladder removed, fatty liver, hiatal hernia repaired, h. Pylori positive, low gastrointestinal acid, partial hysterectomy at 36, and just 2 years ago menopause finally kicked in. Possibly sibo or leaky gut.
    I'm 52 years old. I weight 140 pounds, 5'4".
    I used to be very athletic and participated in many triathlons, marathons, etc.
    After my hysterectomy, everything went down hill.
    Diagnosed with H.pylori last year, two rounds of antibiotics and my bitter mouth taste 24/7.
    I've tried HCL, aloe vera-ginger, L glutamine, swiddish bitters, ACV, celery juice, bone broth, no dairy, no grains, no sugar diet.
    Can I live a healthy live after all these issues?
    I don't know how to target every issue.

    In all your videos, you never talk about the duodenum in detail, only mentioning it as the site through which food chyme passes. But the duodenum regulates a huge number of processes. It is like a micro-computer that scans the chemical composition of food and sends appropriate signals to the liver, gallbladder and pancreas. You say very little about the pylorus, which works in tandem with the duodenal bulb. You never talk about pylorospasm, stenosis. And most importantly - you never talk about such problems as prolapse of the stomach, a change in its size and position, and this dramatically affects both acidity and constipation and bile secretion. A large number of the population have these problems due to physical inactivity and overeating, which entails sprains and, as a result, prolapse of the stomach and its expansion. You prefer to talk only about almost healthy and some "reference" patients. Because it's easier, right? You know, with this approach, anyone who reads Google can call himself a "specialist" and write books. But this is superficial. Maybe it's time to shoot a normal detailed video at least once, as well as answer a question for people with gastroptosis or gastrostasis? Or will you continue to repeat other bloggers who speak mostly banalities that are already in open sources? And by the way ... there is no special "sizzle" there in the duodenum when the chyme meets the alkaline environment. You talk about it in literally every video, as if it were your "trademark". Nutrients will be assimilated this way and that, regardless of hiss or some kind of "explosion". They are assimilated at the bio-chemical level by gut receptors, and not because someone "exploded" and as if this made them smaller for better assimilation. A beautiful play on words, nothing more. Feels like a marketing approach.

      And yes, I have not covered every single digestive facet in a video yet. What a slacker I turned out to be. :)

    My bp is regularly 90 by 40, and according to him I need more minerals. Would real salt, sea salt, in my water, give the minerals I need?

    Is chronic dry cough a sign of low HCL

    • @KickItNaturally

      It can be. We talk about that in this video about chronic cough:ua-cam.com/video/MMjaW9X1xC8/v-deo.html

    My question is, if I am taking an HCL pill and it is working by itself and then start taking the ALLICIN pill + ORGANO pill. If my stomach starts BLOATING, do i stop taking ALLICIN + ORGANO pills? And continue to build up my stomach and retry ALLICIN + ORGANO at a later time. Because in my past experience, I tried the combination and would BLOAT with horrible discomfort indicating bacteria still present.

    Is there a fullproof medical test to say if the stomach acid is low or high. My encologist assumed mine was too high as I had so much reflux for years. He put me on acid lowering meds and now my nutrient levil is so low that I have ridges on my nails, hair loss, lack of energy and more!

    Does the body try to balance the ratio between bile and acid?
    For example let's say a person restores bile flow with supplementation and then sees signs of low acid that weren't previously present.....
    Might the body just need time to adjust the ratio?

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  Місяць тому +1

      I can't say that the body tries to balance them. There are some mechanisms that can cause one to go up or down when the other does, but most people need to take steps to fix both sides if they are both malfunctioning. Usually those new signs show up because a person has improved one side faster than the other.
