Ive been waiting for you to do this! when I started watching your vlogs I was still working from home on my own, watching you, your wife and your business has inspired me so much ive now moved into a 1400 sq ft warehouse and have 2 team members with me. I'm not a candle business I sell macrame and DIY kits. I'm trying to push marketing more but until now ive only used free marketing. I stared using Facebook ads but didn't feel I was getting enough return just about broke even. anyway just wanted to say thank you :)

Amazing advice, thank you! I have one question...Would you suggest doing an introductory offer or discount when a small business has their first launch, in order to bring in customers and attention? Or could this have the opposing affect and maybe put off customers as it may seem desperate for sales? Any advice relating to this and how to approach a new launch would be much appreciated :) thanks again for a great and informative video

Hi Paul, It s Nick (Lowe & Co) Thanks for putting this out, found it very useful and good to hear you back up some of the things we have gravitated towards through trial and error. I suspect, like a lot of people we are looking forward to the FB advertising tips that you will bring. I've spent a bit on FB (equivalent to around 2 hours of your budget !! ) but only really to boost posts but I know that's not the way to go. Thank you again for taking the time and trouble to pass on your hard learnt knowledge.

Great video! How do I calculate how much it costs to make one wax melt? Do you have an easy formula I can follow? Thanks so much!

      Hi Leslie,
It's really simple. Get all of your ingredients together, add up the price of all of the ingredients. Then, when you've made your wax melts simply divide the total cost of your ingredients by how many you've made. That will give you the cost per wax melt.
Then, work out how much you want to earn per our and how many wax melts you can make in an hour. Divide those two numbers to get your time per wax melt.
Add the two numbers together and you'll get your cost per wax melt :)
