I sat in an Irish pub in Leytonstone almost exactly 30 years ago today, with a Guinness. This was on the jukebox. I was alone in the pub, it was my birthday. Just a fond memory of being young. Really nice song.
Wonderful lady in charity shop sang this for us customers today. It was on radio when my first daughter was being born, rotunda 1992. What a gift from God. 🙏 ♥️ Still is...
Within a few years of the A Woman's Heart album coming out, I was able to see five of the six magnificent ladies perform live and meet them afterwards. I was getting the CD autographed, one by one and, when speaking with Eleanor after her concert, I mentioned that Mary Black was next on my list. Eleanor, who has a great sense of fun about her, volunteered that she did a grand Mary Black autograph and offered to sign my CD for both of them. I declined of course and we had a good laugh over it. But both ladies were a delight, as were Maura O'Connell, Sharon Shannon and Frances Black upon hearing and meeting them as well.
I was listening to some Irish songs when suddenly this one popped up. Fascinating voices completing each other, wonderful music and songwriting. I have no idea why I missed that in the early 90's, maybe it hasn't been released in Germany. Happy that I found it now. BTW the whole album is worth to listen to!
Lovely song i this for my mother one beautiful woman very strong good hart she always been so strong and always was there for me and family ❤Ann sorry about my spelling xx Willie
❤ To all women beautiful song a woman will always look after her own the same as we should your mum always looks out of u no matter what age u are I always look out for my kids and grandkids Willie
I have been a big lover of both of these women for over 30 years now, Mary is probably the better known of the two but eloaner should not take a back seat she's also a great Irish female vocalist in her own right, and for some reason Irish female vocalists have a certain something about their voices that stands out from the crowd and I for one love most of them.
Great song but amazing the minute women where getting a foothold more mainstream for their hard work! They immediately become sexist😂, two legends god bless the irish

Believe me! It's not only a Woman's Heart.
I humbly thank you.
Bang on..
Yeees
Give them this one. They're wired differently. Certainly, heartbreak knows no boundaries between both man and woman.
Still crying 😭😭😭😭
Here because of Derry Girls.. such a great piece of tv with a perfect song to complement it

I saw she in Dublin 1993 ❤
Jak oni, Irlandczycy, to robią, że potrafią pisać komponować tyle pięknej muzyki?
Brilliant isn't it
@@brigitnunez6735 Hi Brigit! :)
Nice
heartbreaking song
❤❤❤
Proud ❤🌈
It's a great song but as a man who suffered from severe depression in his 20s I take issue with the main theme somewhat.
좋다그냥좋다 에리노어 메리블랙
💯 Two brilliant vices and brilliant weman and vices in history for everyone to hear
Why did they not let them finish the song through :(
🤣 I guess the autocue guy messed up
@@KJ_2020 tbf, that was an absurdly long outro.
Brilliant 😂
음악 분위기가 한국인의 정서와 비슷하군요. 오, 메리 블랙.
